Ristorante Soul Kitchen S.R.L.

Had a great meal at Ristorante Soul Kitchen in Matera. The food was really good — we had ravioli and tagliata, both were delicious. The house wine was also excellent. For dessert, the tiramisu was outstanding, definitely one of the best I've had. Highly recommend it!

The real best restaurant in Matera!! We had the delicious tasting antipasto and the tris of pasta ane they were big portions, fresh and well-cooked by the famous chef Linda who is so kind and lovely as we had the chance to meet her in person! The location of the restaurant is perfect and the best choice you can do if you want to have an italian characteristic dinner in Matera!!

We visited this spot around lunchtime, and while the food was delicious, it seemed they were a bit understaffed. Given that we came in a large group, the service was understandably slow, as we may have outnumbered the staff on hand. We enjoyed traditional Matera pasta, a flavorful beef dish, and finished with a delightful panna cotta for dessert. Each dish was well-prepared and truly captured the local flavors. Despite the slower service, I appreciated the cozy atmosphere and the quality of the food. Overall, it was a pleasant experience—just be prepared for a bit of a wait if you’re coming with a big group.

We had delicious lunch of antipasti, fresh pasta and absolutely fantastic dessert. Especially amazing were the cannoli, which were the special of the day. The service was outstanding, best we had on the trip. Thank you very much!

Food was decent - nothing to rave about. The Panna Cotta was lovely. Staff was super friendly and helpful with Gluten free options.

We spent over a week in southern Italy and this restaurant was by far the favorite of our meals! Our bed and breakfast recommended it to us and I’m so glad they did! The service was great and the food was amazing and so unique to the area. Highly recommend including this restaurant in any trip to Matera!

Fantastic food for a great price. The ravioli's tomato pesto sauce bursts with flavor while the cavatelli meat ragu's more subtle taste blends perfectly with the pasta. Fantastic, earnestly friendly service in a delightful setting. Highly recommended.

If I could’ve gone again and again I would’ve, this meal was the highlight of my trip. It was so authentic, rich, and wholesome. The flavors were to die for, the meat was phenomenally cooked, the staff was incredibly nice and welcoming. I am gluten intolerant and they handled everything flawlessly. I cannot thank them enough for my amazing experience. If you have the opportunity, TAKE IT. It will be worth it, I promise.
