We stumbled upon Soul Kitchen by chance, and it turned out to be one of those great surprises you end up telling friends about. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff friendly, and the menu, well thought out and full of personality.
We had pasta, and it was delicious. Simple, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor—the kind of dish that reminds you why Italian cuisine is loved worldwide.
But the real twist came with dessert: panna cotta with pepper and orange oil. A bold combination that actually works.
If you're in Matera, this place definitely worth a visit. Great food, warm vibe, and just the right amount of creativity on the plate.
