Ristorante Stella

The Rooms were very spacious with a comfortable private bathroom and shower. Very tidy surroundings with excellent Wi-Fi reception. The restaurant served us very good pizzas and the owner was very friendly( even if seemed to work in every department of the place).

The location was fine, near the pedestrian area of the city and was really clean.Despite the cold tempearture outside only one duvet was provided and it was for a single bed not for a double bed so we had to sleep with our feet outside. For the price we paid the Hotel should provide better conditions. And also, for this price breakfast should be included.

Not a great experience. Mainly because of poor breakfast, paid parking on the street, very small bathroom and also there is no reception desk. Personal don't speak English, so check-in can be tough. This place offers accommodations and also food in their restaurant. Mostly pizza 🍕. The good think is that it's close to the city centre.

We've eaten at Ristorante Stella for the past week as we were in the city for work and they have some great lunch deals, so we took advantage of them.|The menu was different every day, the waitress was friendly and smiling all the day, the portions were very large even for my huge appetite, and the quality of what we got was definitely worth the price we paid.|It's close to La Rotonda and withing walking distance from città vecchia, so if you're in Locarno definitely give it a try.

2 stars for the ok family-style nothin' pretentious restaurant/good pizza. Staff speaks minimum english. PLEASE AVOID the hotel part on the upper floors. Those are hostel style/old furniture/no AC kind of rooms. There were 2 beds in my room, one was completely ready for the scrapyard. The other had the thiniest mattress with old thin sheets... Soap traces in the old shower. Hole in the wall. Had to sleep with a dirty ventilator in my face as it was easily 38 degrees in the room. Had to switch hotel for health reasons: owner pretexted his credit card machine was old and that he couldn't refund me! We had to come back 3 times until he'd refund me in cash. Rumour was that there are good rooms and very bad ones in that place. Total lottery. Avoid!

We stayed at the hotel room upstairs. The rooms are very dates. We were told that there is a fridge present, but turned out to be defect. We saw insects crawling on the floor. Therefore, we changed rooms. Although there were no insects found in this room, it still did not look clean

Really friendly staff, three servings fed five people. Very nice experience!

Good service but a bit slow. The prices are generally lower than other restaurants in the area.
