What a beautiful restored historic building in the heart of Pistoia. A great find. Perfectly prepared dishes. Wonderfull hospitality and kindness extended by Julia. Great job!

The food was modern and really tasty. Super wines! They were pretty full and only two waiters but very very friendly…the place were stables and prior to that, the house were Pope Clement IX was born

The food was some of the best my wife and I have had on multiple trips to Italy. The food is more experimental than typical Italian food which we found inspiring, and a needed change from pasta, pizza and meat. The servings are more gourmet then you typically get in a fairly priced better restaurant, so god value for the money. The service was brilliant with a nice ghost tasting, selected by the owner Julia - Julia was good at explaining the food also in English. The location was beautiful and suited our last night in Italy perfect! Would go here again next time we are in Tuscany for sure.

Due to Covid I missed my annual return to London & southern England with their many beautiful & historical restaurants. I was delighted therefore to be invited to Stilnovo near the magnificent cathedral square of Pistoia. A truly elegant discovery-ideal for hot summer evenings in the courtyard open to the sky, and surrounded by medieval history: columns, arches and high stone walls.. The food and wines were even better--elegantly served and showing care and imagination in the preparation : combinations of colours and flavours that one could hardly imagine--completely new interpretations of the classical ( and sometimes monotonous ) Italian favourites. What really made the whole evening exceptional was the enthusiasm and attention to detail shown by the waiters and chef serving the many dishes and wines. I would recommend an "experience" here after a stressful and busy week of work . One comes away refreshed, calm and full of enthusiasm to return .. Thank you for a memorable evening.

Il locale è bellissimo, con volte a crociera e un pozzo nella parte all’aperto. Abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione da quattro portate (tre salate più il dolce), affidandoci alla scelta dello chef; antipasto e primo veramente ottimi, secondo e dolce molto buono. Il percorso comprendeva anche entrè e pre dolce, originali e accattivanti. I vini del territorio abbinati dalla titolare azzeccatissimi. Servizio impeccabile, attento, molto cortese e professionale
