Ristorante Trattoria Ippocampo

Pasta was PERFECTLY done al dente and the views were spectacular. Very local seafood restaurant on the coast. The waiter brought over the daily catch and had a few recommendations, that were all very simple, but very flavorful. Our table of 4 all got different pasta and fish dishes for a lunch and they were all delicious. Pricing was very reasonable. Would recommend and would definitely go back! Grazie Mille!

Terrible- overpriced and not good. Eat somewhere else. ordered a green salad and they gave us iceberg lettuce with a dry lemon and no dressing. Fish noodles were oily and undercooked and had a tiny piece of fish- maybe like two bites worth. Pizza was okay but oily- bad for Italy. Spaghetti was also undercooked. Consistently bad- tourist prices. Slightly cheaper than in Amalfi but ridiculous for how bad the quality was When we asked the guy about the salad he said that’s the green salad. Waste of money.

We were recommended this restaurant from our skipper on a boat tour. Unfortunately, this was a poor experience and I expected much more from a restaurant in Italy. We were seated promptly and our order was taken fast. The view is absolutely beautiful. However, the pasta dishes came out 20+ minutes before the pizzas did. The table next to us was seated well after we were and got all of their food including pizzas before us. We had to flag down the server and ask where the rest of the food was; I think they had completely forgotten about us as the pizzas were an additional 10 minutes to be made. We also ordered a salad as an appetizer which was forgotten about, and was received after the reminder and 15 minutes after the pasta. The food was not awful but lacked flavour and spices, especially the penne al pomodoro. Extremely overpriced for the quality, and very disappointing for an Italian dish in its home country. The sauce tasted straight from a bottle. However the mixed salad was light and refreshing for being greens, olive oil, and salt. I unfortunately have to give this restaurant a one-star review as I recommend to stay far away from this place and the view is not enough to make up for the awful service and overpriced, low quality dishes. They did apologize for the poor service and offered a discount.

I stopped in for a takeout pizza. The location is beautiful, but unfortunately that’s where the positives end. The pizza was just okay - nothing memorable - and felt overpriced for the quality. Service was slow, and there was a noticeable lack of interest in me as a customer.

Our skipper took us here for a beautiful lunch. The view was amazing and the seafood was fresh! Great service and they made us feel welcomed. Grazie !

Amazing restaurant!! Everything was so fresh and THE BEST PIZZA we had in Italy 🇮🇹 Don't get me wrong; everything food was amazing but Pizza 🍕 at this place, you need to try it. Also, the seafood is amazing, try the soup, and you will love it. The place has an amazing view and is so accessible to everything. Most importantly very affordable
