A local restaurant out of the tourist area. We met friends for dinner and sat outside but the inside of the restaurant is nice. Food was prepared well and the service was friendly and professional. We went here twice while staying in the area. The prices are reasonable as well. I would happily recommend this restaurant.

Very tasty and authentic trattoria. Good products, and incredible cuisine ! You should definitely go there if you are in Alghero ! I personally ordered spaghetti al ricci even if it was not the right moment of the year my dish was subtle and perfectly cooked.

The food was good. The service, too. We visited Maristella in pre-season (!) and the restaurant was overstaffed and because of that very, very (!) noisy and we didn't have much space on our table, why I personally felt kinda uncomfortable.

This is a city center restaurant easy reach from Alghero’s pedestrian center with on-street parking. Our family dined here for lunch (4 adults and two kids). It was a reasonable meal. I felt my pasta was overly salty, but still ok. Service was very good.

Good taste and reasonable prices. I really enjoyed the mussels and clams there. Everything was nice except the fact that Catalan scampis were not very fresh. And it looks like it gets very busy at dinner's time, you may need to book a table or come early. The restuarant opens at 7pm.

Average restaurant with meagre portions: mixed fish grill is affordable at 19 euros but ridiculous when filleted fish is smaller than the squid! Chef's special was a joke, only with prawn heads, I regret not having taken pictures (though they would have claimed whole prawns were at the bottom of the plate). Cassata dessert was a frozen bland mess with decent meringues on top. Fair service, a group of professionals in a delusional setting exploiting shrinkinflation not to increase prices. The 4.1 average score with unreal 5* reviews from reviewers with 1 entries are always a red flag in touristic locations. To the owner: yes, we didn't complain and did clear the plates because we were hungry and despise food waste (probably we agree on this bit, considering the prawn incident); the answer to the previous review says it all: even hinting a customer was making a false claim, which is at least disrespectful towards who paid 200 euros in 6.

Very good restaurant close to the historical center of Alghero with typical sardinian food at a good price. We came twice for lunch and we will come back!

Great recommendation from the Rough guide. Excellent quality of the food with a much more local atmosphere. Very friendly and helpful waiters. Super fresh seafood and amazing curlegiones. I would highly recommend it!!

We just arrived at Alghero and didn't know where to have lunch. This restaurant was the first to show up on our search. We were pleasantly surprised the service was excellent, food was good. I had steamed clam and my boyfriend had seafood macaroni, but nothing like macaroni from US. It was all very delicious.
