Ristorante Vanini Dolce & Caffé

One of the best cafes I've visited! The coffee was exceptional, with a unique flavor that reflects the high quality of the ingredients used. The service was just as impressive, with the staff being very professional, friendly, and helpful in offering recommendations based on my preferences. I can confidently say that this place is worth visiting again and again, and I’m always looking forward to trying more of their options. I highly recommend everyone to visit for an exceptional experience.

We had very good experience with Vanini Dolce e Caffe, we have ordered Strawberry Crepes with Vanilla Ice cream, Nutella Crepes with Vanilla Ice cream and Danimarca Shake. Service was very good, efficient and quick. Great place to stop for the ice cream, desert or pastry. Only bad think was with the open wi-fi, at the terrace in front of the restaurant was quite bad network signal. However, great place for a short break.

Lovely place to stop for a coffee and a pastry and watch the world go by. Only a literal stone's throw from the lake. The coffee was good, the pistachio brioche was delicious, the service was impeccable, quick and efficient. The sparrows are rather insistent but very cute!!

Wonderful experience at VANINI. The food was fabulous. We had crepes and waffles for breakfast. I ordered banana crepe with dark chocolate. We also ordered strawberry crepes with Nutella. Nutella waffles and banana waffles with chocolate drizzle. Every one of the dishes was outstanding. Will definitely come back if there was an opportunity.

I only had the cappuccino but it is the best I’ve had so far between Paris, Milan, and Lugano. I have more to try but I really enjoyed my cup this morning.

Unfriendly and rude staff. We were waiting to be seated, then to have our table cleaned and served. Coffee was not bad though. But ignorance of certain persons from staff ruined all the impression. In the end waitress even haven’t asked for tips because she realized that she didn’t deserve it…

The gelato was not bad, but we've had better in the area. The most disappointing aspect was the service. The staff member who assisted us (Lady in the video) seemed uninterested and appeared to dislike her job or have some issues with us! We're accustomed to friendly and welcoming service in Lugano, so this experience was quite unexpected.

I don’t know why people are writing bad reviews about this place. The staff was friendly, prices were OK and the view was great from the table. I had a coffee, a chocolate and a croissant which were tasting fresh and warm. Good place for a quick stop on your way to explore the city. It was my first time in Switzerland - please make sure to turn your roaming data off when visiting this country otherwise you’ll be charged a ton. This cafeteria has a great Wi-Fi connection as well which was a big plus. Would recommend for a solo traveler.
