Ristorante Vanini Dolce & Caffé

I was scammed here. The menu labelled the price of the hot chocolate as 6.9 chf but i was charged 8 chf. The staff simply said the menu is incorrect. Are customers expected to verify the price themselves? How hard it is to update the price on the wall???? I was in a rush so I couldn’t file a complaint on the spot. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

One of the best cafes I've visited! The coffee was exceptional, with a unique flavor that reflects the high quality of the ingredients used. The service was just as impressive, with the staff being very professional, friendly, and helpful in offering recommendations based on my preferences. I can confidently say that this place is worth visiting again and again, and I’m always looking forward to trying more of their options. I highly recommend everyone to visit for an exceptional experience.

Food: Came for my birthday brunch today and ordered the chicken savoury crepe and cappuccino. My meal and coffee were great and satisfactory. The crepe held together, chicken was juicy and not overcooked, not too much mayo and some salad in my crepe. My cappuccino was creamy and tasty. I also had their gelato - pistachio and dark chocolate. Their gelato is very creamy and delicious. Atmosphere: Cannot go wrong coming here on a sunny day and sitting outside with a view of the lake and the mountains. Staff: The waiter that served me my meal was friendly. However, I did notice that some of the other waiters did not have a friendly demeanour. The server when I got my gelato was not friendly. Price: Very reasonable.

We had very good experience with Vanini Dolce e Caffe, we have ordered Strawberry Crepes with Vanilla Ice cream, Nutella Crepes with Vanilla Ice cream and Danimarca Shake. Service was very good, efficient and quick. Great place to stop for the ice cream, desert or pastry. Only bad think was with the open wi-fi, at the terrace in front of the restaurant was quite bad network signal. However, great place for a short break.

In Vanini Dolce e Caffe in centre of Lugano , English tee , coffee + cup cake Choco nocciola costs 28.10 Fr. Price which is not normal even for expensive Switzerland. What was so special for such astronomical price ? - it was Choco nocciola 15.50 Fr 😲 Even in the best and famous swiss Confiserie Sprüngli , even not in the restaurant of Backingem Palace, and even not in the Qasr Al Watan the Palace of Sheiks in Abu Dhabi I have not payed such a high price for a cup cake . What I know this cup cake was dry with low quality. On the quality range from 1 to 10 it was 1 but at the same time i know that it is rare for someone to be cheated in Switzerland but unfortunately it can be happened. My advice is ; remember the name of this place „Vanini“ and avoid it . I would never go there again . Lugano has much more beautiful places and can offer much more .

We came here for some ice cream and had such a great experience! Max was super friendly, attentive, and professional. The ice cream was delicious, and we felt really well taken care of. Thanks, Max, for the amazing service!
