Ristorante/pizzeria All'Orto de' Pecci

Really good experience just outside the city walls, genuine we'll cooked food. As I understand from a cooperative farming the garden, set next to a small park with bunnies, donkeys and ducks. Pizza was excellent and so was the tasting platter w. Pecorino cheese, the beef steak sliced w. Rosemary and the pork chop was great. Nice service and option to take home food. Try their craft beer.

This was hands down one of the best restaurants I have been to in all of Italy. Located down the hill the valley of Siena, I initially thought it was a park but was surprised to find a restaurant. The food is amazing, if you are on a budget you can get a large portion for a cheap price. Surrounded by grassy fields and gardens and sculptures and farm animals it is the best vibe. Feels very local, peaceful, and family oriented which I loved. Could not recommend enough I came here for both nights I spent in Siena!!

This was our first meal of the day in Siena, and it set everything in motion just right. We arrived without a reservation and were welcomed anyway, with an ease and kindness that instantly slowed us down. The service throughout lunch was warm and attentive, friendly without trying too hard, carrying a quiet charm that stayed with us. The food followed the same honest rhythm. The Cacio e Pepe was simple and perfect—smooth, balanced, and deeply comforting. The fungi mushroom risotto was rich and earthy, cooked with care and perfection. Around the table, pork steak and pork pasta were met with the same quiet approval, plates gradually emptied between easy conversation. Dessert lingered in the best way and almost transcended us into a celestial reality. The cheesecake is a must-light, delicate, and satisfying without excess. The affogato came last, clean and effortless, sealing the meal gently rather than loudly. We left with our heart and stomach full but not heavy, content but still curious what day might still bring forward. A beautiful way to begin the day.

It is popular among local community. Prices are good and quality as well. The portions might be a little bigger. The staff is quite chaotic, but it also add to the typical italian spirit.

We had pasta and pizza as a starter 😃 My wife’s Pici caccio e Pepe where a huge portion and super delicious. Pizza was good as well but I liked the pici more. Good that we ordered a steak for sharing as well, which was super tender. The waiter spoke great English and was very friendly. Very nice and quite park around. Good for families.

Surrounded by beautiful countryside, the atmosphere is impeccable! Sharply priced and very close to the cathedral, rustic dishes and friendly service will make your day!

Hidden at the end of a walk way with gates , the food was amazing , the service was on point and the views were better than some of the pricier places.

We’ve had lunch and dinner three times over two trips to Sienna at All’Orto de’ Pecci. The place is located all the way down from the Piazza, in a green area. Feels almost like being in a village. The cuisine is simple and of high quality. They’ve changed their menu from one trip to another, and not for the worst. The service is quick and attentive. A lovely place to have good food! Reservations are possible.

What a wonderful place to dine! You're surrounded by green, and yet only 5 minutes from central Piazza del Campo. I have a special connection to this place, because this is where I organized the reception for my wedding last summer... which was fantastic. However, I often go for lunch or dinner, because it's a very peaceful place to go both with a group of friends or an intimate date. The food? It's delicious, from the appetizers to their desserts. It's better to arrange in advance what you want to eat, especially if you're going in a big group. Go and you won't be disappointed. I can't recommend this place more.

This my favorite restaurant in Siena. If you're looking for a cheap place to have real Sienese food, this is it! It's also in the middle of a somewhat hidden farm in the historic center. You can't beat the view. You can go for a walk and see farm animals after lunch. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Siena.
