Very nice location, unfortunately not suitable for cyclists. After cycling up the mountain we wanted to take a quick break on the way down. Since we didn't take a bike lock with us we wanted to take our bikes near our seats outdoors, so we could at least see them. But we weren't allowed by the staff. Only outside of the location between the garbage can and the toilet. This never happened to us at any cafe/bistro/restaurant with outside seating. Therefore we only bought water and left. Such a pity...

The restaurant is in the woods and has a somewhat magical feel. Beyond that it‘s very informal, self-service with disposable compostable plates. The food is good but not great. Only the „minestrone etrusco“ we found noteworthy. Selection is limited with no fish and very little choice for vegetarians. It could have been a 5/5 (I like these sort of informal places) if not for the price. With lack of service and not-great food you either offer generous portions or low prices..

Very cool place next to the old Monastery. Unique view over the Monte Argentario. Many dishes to choose from but most of them with meat. Not too turistic, so it is more where italians are stopping by. Definately worth visiting

Super easy going place with traditional foods. Sit down, order at the counter and go get your tray when your number is called. Simple, good food and perfect after a long walk.
