Unusual combinations of food, but great quality. Had steak with juniper. The stuffed onions were surprisingly excellent. The lemon ricotta and ragu worked perfect. I'd go back just for those. The meat was cooked nicely. A dining room with some shared tables. We met another couple and chatted which was good. We were too full for dessert extensive wine list. Very good service

Best lunch I've had during my vacation. Super food, very friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. I had the tortolini with ricotta and as dessert the cheesecake with grapes. Wow.

Great experience here. We ordered beef tagliata which were deliciously grilled (kudos to the grill cook!). It looked like an Italian fashion show at all tables around us but we were nicely accepted despite being in cycling gear :)

My first steak in Tuscany and it was excellent! The carpaccio, pizza, and pasta were excellent as well. The service was also outstanding. Between the food, service, and views of the country, it was an overall amazing experience. I highly recommend this establishment.

It's a shame you can't give more stars because this was absolutely amazing. Beginning to end. We came at the recommendation of the proprietor of the Villa we're staying at while touring Tuscany. Conveniently location and easy parking. Once you walked in you knew it would be good. Clean, awesome design and amazing smells. We each got a pasta dish. The wifey got spaghetti with a truffle cream sauce. Very good. I got a chestnut pappardelle pasta with a wild boar sauce. Amazing! Will be back for it. We then had a margherita pizza (best in Italy so far) and then the desserts were amazing. Especially the persimmon tiramisu. We will definitely be back! The service was great too. Really made the overall experience what it was.

This was certainly one of the restaurant highlights on our recent trip through Rome, Tuscany and Florence. The ambiance was lovely and the perfect setting for a birthday celebration. The food was exquisite, the wine delightful and the staff were perfect representations of the friendly people that we came to love while in Tuscany. We indulged in steak with a balsamic glaze, risotto, assorted pastas and grilled mushrooms. As is the case with these little gems in Tuscany, our dinner was a relaxed, indulgent, leisurely adventure in the foods and wines of the region.

Only 1 review prior. Well unless you know someone that knows someone that knows this restaurant it's not on an American tourist's radar. Family owned and operated and you feel like mommas cooking for you in the back. I had pastas, meats, cheese, wine, pizzas, antipasti and lots of great wines. Very pretty seating outdoors with a promontory view. There is a white table clothed, somewhat modern European dinning room. The patrons look very upscale and the staff treats you like family. Don't miss this if you're within the area. It's a must in my mind.

A fantastic gem nestled in the Tuscan valley surrounded by vineyards, situated in a quant hamlet. We ordered Buffalo mozzarella, pasta with with truffle, Margherita pizza, and grilled steak with porcini mushroom. All made with fresh ingredients and perfectly seasoned to to taste. Of course, amazing wine!

Delicious Tuscany kitchen. I have tried more than half of the menu. Every single item ( from focaccia to pizzas, steaks, or deserts ) is perfect. But it is exactly expensive and (as far as i understand) list prices are just for the visitors.

Stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant... this is a must stop if you are driving from Florence to Assisi!!!

We managed to eat here 3 times in our 4 days in Badia a Passignano. Only because they are closed on Tuesdays. Fantastic service and wonderful plates. Fantastic antipasti the olives on the meat board were to die for. This was my first food in Tuscany and I said with each new flavor, I am moving back to Italy. Grazie tanto per l'esperienza! Complementi!

Was at the marvelous restaurant in Oct and can't stop thinking about it. Wine list is amazing along with the food. Hope to be back soon.
