Rita House

We just spent two key days with the Rita House filming a feature, and it was such a great experience! It was smooth setting everything up on the front end, and production itself was so much easier having their staff on-hand, as a gentle and ever-present support system. There was always a smile to greet us. As for the property itself - it has several unique settings to choose from on the interior, all with a sophisticated energy and historic touch. Parking was fairly easy to navigate on the nearby neighborhood streets. And it never hurts to have a coffee shop two doors down that can handle any urgent crafty and caffeine needs! Highly recommend.

If you’re an artist, this place is for you. How I didn’t find out about this hidden gem sooner is still a mystery, but thank goodness I did! The location itself is beautiful, and the lore is that is was a popular costume house back in the day! The location itself is spacious yet charming. There’s tons of free street parking, too! The owners, Tash and Scott, are truly special. If you’re looking for a quiet place to feel like you’re working from home, Rita House is for you.

We had a great time hosting a murder mystery party at the Rita House! The venue was perfect and the management team was super easy to work with!

From our initial inquiry through the event follow-up, our experience working with the Rita House team was 10/10. We can't wait to book this venue again for future performances and special events!

Rita House is the most magical place in LA! The Rita team and owners are awesome people who cultivate a wonderful community. The events are exciting, and co-working here is a dream. It's like a library but more inviting. I highly recommend it, 10/10!

Had the most wonderful cozy time working with the Rita House to put on a holiday event for the community. Extremely versatile space with warm vibes throughout. We utilized the full downstairs to create a cozy living room concert, a mini holiday market in the middle room, a congee serving station in the kitchen, and even a photobooth in the outside area. Staff was very accommodating and a joy to work with!

I filmed an interview for a documentary at Rita House and the whole experience was great! The location was beautiful and very cinematic. The architecture, layout, and furnishings were a perfect fit for our documentary. The Rita House team was very easy to work with. We booked last minute and everything still went super smooth. When we arrived, the space was clean and clear. The team at Rita House was extremely helpful with loading in our equipment as well as rearranging their furniture. Once we started rolling they politely disappeared to give us privacy until the end of the day when they came back around to help us clean up. Five stars!

This is an incredible space to host events that are meaningful and community-oriented. Rita House is an intimate coworking and gathering space that is large - conducive for breakout rooms! But also beautifully set up to feel like a home. We hosted a wonderful tech event that brought together about 60 community members. It was lovely working with Deena and Scott - the space managers. We can’t wait to host another event here!

Incredible co-working space with character, soul, and so much creative community. Such a breath of fresh air in comparison to corporate, turnkey spaces like WeWork. Members are all incredibly friendly, and Deena who runs all the programming & operations is just the best! Super communicative and on top of things. The space itself is super comfortable and well curated (a former prop house under Rita Riggs, as well as violin factory, so you'll find touches of that all around). I had a floating membership and could always find places to work, take calls, etc. It's also in a location with several coffee shops and eateries nearby. Moving out of state, otherwise I'd be a member for life!

I came to Rita House for a small group event and loved it! The aesthetic is very cozy and warm. It's definitely old style LA but has a comfortable feel to it. Definitely will keep this place in mind for future work gatherings. They had plenty of space and parking was pretty easy on side streets for a few hours. Nice and quiet so would be a good work / study spot.

Came here for a trivia night fundraiser and everyone was super welcoming and kind. The space is very warm, cozy, and friendly. I definitely plan to be back! Seems like a great place to get some work done :)

Cannot say enough about Rita House. Not just that the space afforded us many options for shooting, but it was the staff that made our experience so enjoyable and so fulfilling. Deena, Scott, everyone just chipped in and helped move furniture, rearrange artwork - you name it - nothing was too much to ask. And they seemed genuinely interested in our project and doing whatever they could to make our vision a reality. Thank you from our whole documentary team. You guys are the best!

The owners and staff were so wonderful! I hosted a holiday event here and the Rita House team was so accommodating, supportive, and kind from start to finish. They had everything we needed and worked with us to create what turned out to be a very successful event. The building is so unique and beautiful and in such a great location. had an absolutely wonderful time in this beautiful coworking venue!! my team hosted a Notion community meet up with around ~65 attendees, and the venue fit everyone comfortably. the location had a great ambiance, especially with the unique vintage room decor and lighting (lots of interesting and tasteful furniture). there's a spacious kitchen with many amenities -- stove, oven, microwave. Scott and Deena were so lovely to work with as well -- very accommodating and hospitable. definitely recommend this space for coworking or social/community events.

Rita House is amazing! I've worked with this venue for 2 events so far and I love them. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and the staff are super friendly and professional. I definitely recommend using this wonderful space. The main room fits about 50 guests seated. My events were held on weeknights and street parking was fairly easy. Location was very convenient and close to everything. Sara, Scott and Deena are all super awesome! It was so nice working with their team. Thanks again everyone.

Great service, fantastic location, quiet and clean. Rita House is a phenomenal shared work space location. I was able to call and get a great spot to work. I highly recommend Rita House as a convenient, easily accessible place to work during the week. We love Rita House!!! We hosted a community event in this space and the management were so kind and accommodating for our team. The vibes of the Rita House are incredibly cozy and warm, and the space is incredibly versatile for gathering sizable groups in a way that feels wonderfully intimate. The in-house PA system allowed for a great sounding living room concert, and Rita House even provided extra floor cushions and fold out tables to accommodate the needs of our event. We will definitely be hosting more events here in the future!

It was amazing working with this vintage location, we really enjoyed the working time over there! Absolutely highly recommend!

I attended and helped out with a community event here earlier this month and really enjoyed the space. It was versatile enough to accommodate cooking and serving food and tea, small music/singing performances and collective guided meditations, small business vendors, a community altar, and an outdoor photo op area. The event coordinator was really kind and helpful throughout the night as well. The event took place on a Sunday so parking was somewhat easier as there was free unlimited street parking around the block. Thank you to the folks at Rita House, and thank you to the organizers of the Get Warmed event!!

Rita House hosted a cozy congee event that I really enjoyed. Want to send my thanks to the event organizers and to those who have been taking care of this space while preserving its history/Rita Riggs. Made some unforgettable memories here that wouldn't have been made if it weren't for this space! I highly recommend Rita House for anyone looking to host events in the future!

Hosted a Notion LA Community Meetup here! It was the perfect size and ambience for people to mingle and talk but also have enough space/rooms to break off into sessions and discuss on their own! Each room has it's own theme and they're all super aesthetic and functional!

Great place! Loved going to events here. So nostalgic and the owners are fabulous.

We are very excited to be using Rita House as our working space for our small team. The space is kept clean, it's a quiet atmosphere, and the owners are very caring about the space they are continually creating. They are abiding by the covid restrictions and you can tell they put a lot of care into creating a creative space for people to succeed. There is a rich history to Rita House and they are carrying on that history very well!

I am writing on behalf of UN Women USA LA, we were blessed to be able to have our first Chapter Meeting in person since the lock down at Rita House. The staff was incredibly accommodating, the space is so beautiful and intimate. We hosted approx 30 people comfortably in their main room and the event was a hit. Everyone loved the space! The staff helped us set up and allowed us to use the beautiful kitchen to set up snacks. It was truly a magical experience and I couldn't imagine doing it anywhere else. Thank you to Sara and Scott for there hospitaliy. If you need workspace or need to host a gathering Rita House is awesome!

Coming out of the Covid fog, I'm thrilled that Rita House is there as an option for a place to work, or hang out at one of their fun events. Pre-Covid I would attend wine tastings, game nights, comedy shows... the variety of events was always appreciated. I'm excited that the social options are opening back up. Rita House is a warm, welcoming place and I recommend it to anyone looking for a unique coworking space or simply for their fun events.

Shared office space with a lot of character. It is located on 3rd street, so I decided to catch an Uber. Lots of room to move about on both floors of this charming home. The folks that work here are friendly and welcoming. It feels homey as if you are working in a friend's country cabin. Thank you Sara.

Wow - super impressed with this space and the Lady who manages the space / Sara. She really made it feel as comfortable, safe, relaxed and chill as hanging out at a best friends house. The itinerary of events etc. they offer is really next level and highly curated (and very well thought out). Plenty of interesting, unique and cool events on their in-house calendar. The building is rich in Hollywood history and it's palpable walking through it. This place is a hidden-gem.

Had the opportunity to check out Rita's House last night and it was divine. It's relaxed and communal environment is the perfect backdrop to mix and mingle with others. Not only this, but this space seems to draw really open, friendly people. I also love the story behind how the space became what it is today. Lots of passion in this place.

I rarely take the time to review places because I feel like no one reads them, they just look at the stars and move on. But for Rita House, I had to do it in hopes that someone reads this and discovers this truly hidden gem of a place. First and foremost, the space is gorgeous and authentic. You feel as though you're working in a place that has history inside its walls, and that's because you actually are. It was a famous Hollywood costume shop in the 70's and I can tell you first hand that the creative energy hasn't worn off at all. It's always clean, the staff are super helpful and there when you need them, and you can find a new/exciting place to work each and every day. They have great events with a stellar community of artists, they have all the coffee you could ever need, and it's in the heart of West Hollywood. What more could you want? Give them a chance instead WeWork and Spaces, you won't regret it. The only reason I stopped going is because I moved. Otherwise I'd be there!
