Joel Kim Booster’s Grub Street Diet

"A neighborhood pharmacy he routinely stops at across the street to pick up snacks and small treats (ice-cream bars, etc.), part of a snack-driven dynamic he shares with his boyfriend." - Rima Parikh

Walgreens Pharmacy in Opp, Al went to a lot of trouble to help me even though I regularly use a different pharmacy pharmacy!!! Mine couldn’t get the medication I needed so Walgreens called my pharmacy and got all my information and they didn’t have the medication either. But they had it in Crestview, Fl so the had it brought to Opp for me. I received in I just one day. A lady named April helped me through the entire process and what a pleasure to receive true customer care and support! A rarity nowadays especially considering the fact that I’m not a regular customer but you can bet I’ll be back !! Thankyou April and Walgreens!

These folks don't care about you. Just go to CVS's website and get the prescription script mailed to you.

Not only did they give me the wrong medication a few weeks ago, they refused a child medication for pain with a bad ear infection. The pharmacist said that she would never give her child Tylenol 3 and thats fine but I don’t believe her personal opinion should play a role in a child’s pain relief. It was suggested by TWO doctors and when her prescription was taken to another pharmacy, they filled it with no problem and even commented on that specific pharmacist. Apparently this is an ongoing problem. My entire family is pulling their prescriptions out of opp Walgreens and even Walgreens all together. The pharmacist should not decide if a child gets pain relief or not.

I ALWAYS have a problem with this pharmacy! For one, the ones behind the counter are Rude and not helpful. My husband dropped off a RX for my 3 year old to get pain meds for his Broken Arm and I waited till 4pm until I finally called and they said oh sorry we don't have that medication, someone should have called! Well No one called and my baby now has to suffer. Im switching to someone else immediately

Worst pharmacy I have ever been in. What is the point in having a pharmacy if you can't feel any of the medications because it's out of stock or you just refuse to. My child needs his medications and I've done wasted half a day waiting on these people and they didn't even want to call or text me and let me know that they don't have it

On numerous occasions the store in Opp has greatly been a disappointment. At least every other prescription they have to order. And twice they have entered my insurance information incorrect causing me to have to contact my insurance to find out why it was being declined only to find out it was employees not entering my information correctly causing me a delay in getting my medicine. I will no longer do any business with their pharmacy. Plus all the prices on any other product in their store cost almost double what I would pay elsewhere. Goodbye Rite Aid, this customer will not be back.

This store is the worst. Their system for customer service is horrible. If you are waiting for a prescription (Usually 20 min or more) when they call your name, they make you get back in line and wait again. Their prices are too high for medicine. I have used Walgreens for 25 years and this by far the worst I've ever dealt with.

Don't bother going in there unless you are dropping off a prescription picking up a prescription or getting a covid shot. Other than that I stood there for 20 minutes and not one person acknowledged that I was there and there was 4 of them behind the screen and all I was doing was to ask the pharmacist of her opinion for medication that I needed for my wife who was having dizzy spells. I finally mentioned to the front register person what my problem was and she walked me to the area that might help. Take the 12 mile trip to your next town and go to Walmart pharmacy.
