This is obviously a popular place in Wanaka and rightly so. Food and coffee were both great. There was a wait on food but this was made clear to us when we ordered and was worth the wait. The hash brown sticks were very yummy. Avocado on toast was delicious, very fresh and the olive oil drizzle was obviously very good quality. The chefs know what they're doing!

I don’t usually like to leave bad reviews, but I was really surprised — the staff was quite unfriendly. I felt like I was bothering them just by being there. I could understand if I had arrived 15 minutes before closing, but that wasn’t the case.
As for the food, it’s definitely overpriced for the portion size.
I won’t be coming back.

Bit pricy food (11$ for orange juice), great coffee, bacon&egg sandwich was great - eggs on toast was ok. Would go back again for coffee take away

Lovely cozy little Café. Very friendly service. Coffee was great and the hotcakes I had were delicious. They were a bit slow but understandable as they were very busy.
It gets a bit noisy for conversation when full.

Amazing food with some great flavors. The mountaineer's fuel breakfast was great, but I could have done without the homemade sausage; Too much seasoning in it that didn't let the meat flavor shine. No take out orders which seemed strange, but if you can wait it's a great breakfast choice.

Great drinks and super fast and super friendly service! We came here after a failed attempt of getting drinks along with our food at another cafe across the road and were very happy with both the service as well as the drinks (super yum!) Thanks for saving our morning! 😂😂

Inviting cafe with a decent food offering. Service is a bit perfunctory - wouldn’t hurt for staff to smile from time to time. Pretty good cheese rolls.

I ordered a hot cappuccino, it doesn’t taste good as I expected as the taste of the coffee is too sour for me, no aroma. However, it has a rich foam with generous chocolate powder. Staff is friendly, helpful, and fast service. I may come back to try the food but not coffee
