Ritz Copacabana Hotel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ritz Copacabana, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience. The hotel is impeccably clean, with spacious and well-maintained rooms. The rooftop is a particular highlight, offering a fantastic pool and stunning views of Copacabana Beach. The staff is exceptional, from the housekeeping team to the front desk personnel. A special mention goes to Victor, whose professionalism and excellent command of English made a significant difference in our stay. He was not only helpful and attentive but also went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Overall, the Ritz Copacabana exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for luxury, excellent service, and a memorable stay in Rio.

The hotel is absolutely wonderful. The receptionist was kind and talked us through the history. In our room (celebrating our engagement) was a message on the mirror with photos & chocolate cookies & bottle of sparkling wine! We felt spoilt

Great hotel, the stuffs were extremely friendly and super clean rooms. We stayed there for 5days. The location is very convenient, beach and restaurants are very close by. The top floor pool is really relaxing and quite. The breakfast is definitely recommended in the hotel.

This hotel has an awesome view to the sea! I just had wonderful morning views, which make me really happy, floor 14th. Service at the reception could improve, the breakfast was really good, and the pool. If you are looking to reserve this hotel! Don’t doubt it

Correct hotel, the telephone in the room did not work and the mattresses are not good. Little variety at breakfast with foods that were repeated every day. Dining room staff with a bad predisposition to work and with long faces when one places an order

Location||||You could not fault the location, a short block from Copacabana Beach and literally a two minute walk. The subway station connecting the main areas of Rio is also a short safe walk. Bars and restaurants are plentiful with many beach bars on Copacabana and a main road just one block behind the hotel which is an easy walk into a town centre.||||We felt very safe in the immediate area, even after dark.||||Check In||||We checked in quite late, but it was very smooth and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had to leave a small deposit, but this was refunded at the end of our stay without any issues||||The Room||||The room was quite compact, but there was enough room for the two of us to spend 5 comfortable days in Rio. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a relief as it was very humid outside. The only issue for us was the very weak flush of the toilet. The WiFi signal was fine and the bed was very comfortable.||||The lifts were quite small and claustrophobic but did the job ok.||||The Pool||||The pool is very small and more a splash pool than swimming pool. It's too small to actually swim, even when empty. The area on the rooftop by the pool is very nice, with stunning views of Copacabana Beach and a reasonably priced bar for food and drinks. ||||Breakfast ||||Breakfast was a serve yourself buffet. The quality was good and the breakfast did vary a little from day to day. There was always a nice mix of sweet and savoury items and some nice fruits and juices.||||Staff||||The staff couldn't have been nicer. All of them were friendly and helpful||||Checkout||||Checkout was very smooth and efficient.||||Final Summary ||||We were perfectly happy with our stay at Ritz Boutique Hotel Copacabana. The location was wonderful, the room comfortable and the staff friendly. We got a good price and felt that our stay was good value for money given the location, the facilities and the great breakfast.

+ Comfortable, clean and secure accommodation in a super location. Gym access a reason for booking. |- Would be nice if coffee in room and some water was complimentary. Mini bar charges should be advertised in room. Also, early check in charge should be advised in advance. Some staff ( restaurant) not very friendly/ on mobiles.

I came from a terrible experience, as I had booked some time in the windsor plaza and I was desperate because the experience was terrible, but it was too late for me to look for something new. Regardless, I pulled an all nighter and found this gem, which is, albeit a bit expensive (was towards the top of my company's budget), it has very comfortable rooms, functional AC, very friendly staff, a great smell, and something whic is difficult to find in rio, modern premises. ||I highly recommend if you don't find cheaper options. All around my experience has been very positive and the staff very friendly. I have yet to try the breakfast as I overslept, but so far so good. ||Also, the location, is one of the best!
