RIUS Hotel Lviv by Rixwell

We stayed here after driving from the UK. We needed to hand over a truck to a friend but didn’t know exactly where or when we were meeting. The lady on reception (Iryna, I think) was amazingly welcoming, friendly and helpful in many ways. She was a real credit to the hotel. The rooms were spotless and lovely. The attached bar/restaurant was a great place to hang out. Would highly recommend the staff and the hotel.

We had a great stay at the RIUS Hotel in Lviv. Service is friendly and speaks good English. We took Junior Suite and had a nice view over the roofs of Lviv Opera and Oldtown. Very spacious room, great bathroom with the little flaw that you couldn't put the shower handle anywhere while showering. Housekeeping was excellent. Safe room downstairs if needed. Feels nice and secure with the doorman at the front gate. Within a few minutes walk you find the Oldtown, Opera and anything you need.

The Rius Hotel has a good location, parking is a special benefit, but the towels are "the color of the soil". Unexpected and offensive. Please, hotel administration - take into account this moment. Thanks

This modern hotel is well located just a few blocks from the opera and old town. It was easy to get from the airport to the hotel via the very inexpensive trolley bus.||||Modern elevators, helpful and pleasant staff, clean rooms and modern amenities made for a happy visit. Our rooms were non-smoking but I think some people cheat as I did smell cigarette smoke one morning in the hallway. My friend and I each booked a room as it is an affordable hotel. There is water and a sitting area by the elevators which made for an easy to meet area. ||||We liked just about everything about this hotel except the breakfast. There is a chain restaurant that serves as their b-fast hub. You bring down your card for each day and are limited in how much. I was perturbed that freshly squeezed OJ and hot chocolate are not part of the covered breakfast. There is a selection of several hot or cold food choices that they will make for you. No numbers are given so you have to keep going up to guess if the dish sitting there is yours or not. The food was just okay, but it just did not really appeal to us so on day 3 we just went to Lviv Croissant and did our own breakfast. ||||Shower stalls are small considering how large the bathrooms are, but overall we liked the hotel a lot and agreed we would stay there again.

I stayed in the hotel for about 10 days in September 2019.||Good points:||i) Rooms are clean, comfortable and tidy with basic amenities and a very small balcony. ||ii) Check-in and check-out was smooth||iii) Everyone spoke and understood english. So language was not a problem.||iv) location of the hotel is extremely good. Walkable distance to all the tourist attractions (within 500 meters to 1 km), yet the location of hotel is away from all the din of the city centre.||v) Lot of restaurants nearby the hotel.||Not so good points:||i) Food options in the restaurant Vapiano was very limited.||ii) Breakfast options were quite limited. Very few options for vegetarians.||iii) Storage space for clothes inside the room is very limited. It was not adequate for a single person.||To summarise I would stay again in this hotel given its fantastic location.

I love this hotel, probably the best one in Lviv. It's very modern and open. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The girls at the front reception are very friendly, polite, and helpful. If you have any questions, they always greet you with the smile and ready to help. I was a lone female traveling by myself and I loved how secure this hotel was. There is a security guard posted at the front desk 24/7 and you need a key to get on the elevator. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

Room was great! Had good views, not too far from the main square, clean, elegant, spacious. Everything was great. Bathroom's were a little small. No tub just a shower pretty typical of Europe however the shower was smaller than previous hotels I've been to in Ukraine. However, we did very much enjoy our stay!
