"Running along the side of Diocletian’s Palace is theRiva, a seafront promenade lined with tall palm trees, bustling cafés, and shaded benches. Stretching from the bronze map of Split to the popular Marmontova shopping strip, it’s one of the busier places in town. Join the fashion-conscious locals gossiping over coffee at sunny cafés, or simply hang out here while you wait for your ferry to the islands."

The best places to be in Split in the evening. Was alive and gr8 vibes there as it was Saturday. Had good food there .lot of Gelato as the weather was hot . Lot of people. Lots of big boats and cruise ships parked in the marina. The sun set was beautiful in Split

A broad promenade lined with nice restaurants. On the seaward side you have several rows of palm trees and along the eastern section, many tour boat booths selling tickets for trips to the islands and swimming/snorkelling. On the north side of the promenade a variety of small shops.

The Riva Harbor is a super charming sidewalk, facing the south side of the Diocletian's Palace. There the visitor finds some of the best attractions, restaurants, ice cream parlours, and bars in the city, with strategically positioned tables facing the Adriatic Sea, working day and night. Plenty of seating area's can be found here among the palm trees.

Visited Split very briefly during our weeks holiday in Podstrana. We picked up the Ferry ⛴️ from Bay 23 to Solta on this day. Would highly recommend visiting this island & others. What we saw of Split we loved & we shall be back to explore more very soon.

It has a vibe for sure but I'm not a fan of port cities so not my cup of tea. But i can definitely see why people like it. Beautiful walk path if you like ports and boats.☺️

Split Riva is a beautiful, laid-back promenade that perfectly captures the charm of a small Dalmatian village. The views of the harbor are stunning, especially at sunset, with fishing boats bobbing in the water. It’s a peaceful place to stroll, grab a drink, or just sit and watch the world go by. There are nice restaurants and cafés along the Riva serving fresh seafood and local wine—nothing too fancy, but very authentic. The vibe is friendly and unpretentious, and it was not crowded at all. Would highly recommend for a quiet evening or a lazy afternoon.

Stunning harbour front with plenty of options for food and drinks, from bougie to a little more toned down, if you are prepared to walk towards old town which is a little further in, 5 minute walk. There’s also a market area which is populated with a variety of things, from food to clothes depending on the day. There are a lot of Game of Thrones spots to take pics, people dressed up to have photos with and some epic places where some big scenes were shot. Split has a lot of history and is a gorgeous place to visit. The beauty doesn’t stop there though. Grab a ferry for €20 from the port and you can be at one of many gorgeous islands in the area. Hvar is one I’d recommend 🌟

This is a sea facings promenade in Split. Located closer to the Split castle and the harbour. Taking a walk along this walking path is a must do in Split. The stairs for Split view point in located on one end of this promenade. If you arrive by car, there's public car park next to this and it is very convenient to spend some time here.
