Undoubtedly a very clean hostel as they have placed utmost attention on cleanliness (no footwear allowed anywhere, multiple times cleaning). The location is also is very good - centrally located and can be accessed via train or bus. Do make a note that if you’re checking-in late, do not book this one as they charge a good amount of fee for the same. Also, it may so happen that you may not find anyone at the reception for hours. Rest all was good!

The hostess is an Incredible women, for her to be doing this all on her own is courageous. Talking about the Hostel, Yes, the rooms are clean, I did not find any pests or dirt, she cleans everything every day.... you'll see it when you visit. has bunker beds, lockers with lock, an entry key, 3 clean toilets and 3 bathrooms with the facility of water spray, and a toilet paper roll. The dining area has a kitchen top, a microwave, and a fridge with utensils. Say hi to her and ask her your query, and she'll be happy to help 😊

We ( a couple) stayed in the 14-bed dorm and, unfortunately, it wasn’t the most comfortable experience. While the hostel itself was clean on the surface, it didn’t feel particularly hygienic. There was a general lack of respect for shared space and basic etiquette. Most people wouldn’t say hello or smile back which made the environment feel isolating. People also had phone calls on loud speaker during the night?! Every day and night there was a man sleeping on the sofa which made it feel there was no place to socialise and relax. As a woman, I didn’t feel comfortable or able to relax, the showers and toilets were mixed and very small to change. The dorms and communal areas were male dominated (not the hostel’s fault but something to bear in mind when booking!). Overall I wouldn’t stay here again, but if you’re looking for somewhere basic and central I would recommend

Very central and nice hostel. It was our first hostel experience and everything was perfect. Bathrooms is super duper clean, aswell as everything else in the hostel. Beds are comfy. There are lockers for your important stuff, just be aware when you crouch in front of them. The lockerdoor can swing backwards and you could hit your back. The staff is also really nice and helps you whenever you need some adive or tipps. In comparison to a private room in singspore its a really good alternative!

The location was very good for taking bus rides to elsewhere in the city. Bathroom and toilets were very clean and well kept, I was impressed. I feel there's not enough privacy in the individual bunk space as the curtain is too short - personally I would hang up two of them to cover the space so I can change clothes inside. They also don't block light that much and my sleeping location was opposite the door so when that opened, I could still be affected by the hallway light. The lockers are a bit stuck when opening and closing, so I worry if it troubles other people in the room when it makes noise at quiet hours. My only relatively negative experience is the fact the bunk bed isn't very sturdy so if the person on top moves, the entire frame moves and will shake the person on the bottom. All in all if you just need a place to sleep, this is a good place if you don't mind the stairs.

Not welcoming at all… I arrived 2 hours before check-in time (which is normal at any hostel), but it seemed like they didn’t like that. They only opened the door to tell me check-in hadn’t started yet. They didn’t offer to let me stay in the common area, I had to ask. Feels like it’s more of a place for locals. I left and booked another hostel. Can’t say anything about the rooms because I didn’t stay, but it’s definitely not the place to make connections.

With how expensive accommodation in Singapore generally is, at this price point I was fine just having a place to sleep close to the centre of the city. Isn't quite a backpackers' hostel, as it seemed there were a few people who were living there long-term and treating the place like their personal lounge. I think if you don't mind the stairs and use earplugs, it's fine just as a place to sleep.
