River Ouse

Amazing view with lots of information about all the different flood barrier and amazing pub that people walk in with wellies when it is flooded, and wildlife around the river.

We boarded the River Ouse cruise at Kings Staith. Even though the weather wasn't favourable at times, the cruise provided umbrellas and the rain showers soon passed. Good value for the boat trip, but I would 100% book in advance and try to be at the jetty about 20- 30 mins before scheduled departure. Pretty river with some informative information provided by the boat captain.

Beautiful river in beautiful York city. Lovely views all around. Cafes & drink places around. Have couple of bridges on it. U can boating there. A cruise ship company provides its services to give u beat river side views. I had a great walk there n enjoy the views.

I took a long walk along this river in York and it was quite nice, especially with all the cool willows. However I did expect something a bit dramatic and fitting for the overall all viningy vibe that York has which is why sadly I cannot give it five stars.

A lovely stroll along river Ouse , cafes avaliable to sit and have a nice drink and chillout next to the river. River cruise, boat hire avaliable as well.

River Ouse, from the York side of it, is magical. Sunset gives it a golden brown hue (at the correct spots). It certainly is a very serene river.
