What a gem. The entrance is hidden on the side of the building, but it sure was worth finding. I read reviews, and I base a lot of my choices when traveling on what others have to say (always taken with a grain of salt). It's got waterfront views, friendly staff, ambiance galore and great food. Both my partner and I had a fabulous meal. He ordered the flounder. It came out as two HUGE filets with hush puppies, chips, and slaw. I ordered the shrimp and scallops with mashed potatoes (loved them) and the fresh medley. My meal came with a salad as well. There was no room for dessert. The bus boy kindly rolled up the blinds for us so we could take advantage of the view. Michelle, our server, was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Overall, it was an excellent meal and an excellent experience. We would definitely go back!
There is ample downtown parking, although there isn't a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant. I have a bad hip, and I had no issues.
Tourist tip: walk the boardwalk if you can. It's a romantic maritime experience. Great for pics. Also, there are lots of places to sit and an outdoor eating area if you're so inclined. There is an ice cream place literally right around the corner for a light dessert or to take on your walk and enjoy!
