River Wonders is a fantastic attraction for both kids and adults! It offers a unique mix of fun, education, and wildlife encounters that you don’t often find in one place.
I was amazed to see fish species I had never seen before, such as the Elephant Fish from Africa. The aquarium sections are beautifully designed and really allow you to get up close with creatures from all around the world’s rivers. Of course, one of the highlights is seeing the giant pandas munching on bamboo—definitely a must-see moment for visitors.
We also attended the “Once Upon a River” show, which featured a capybara, pelican, and other animals. The show is family-friendly, short but entertaining, and gives you an opportunity to learn about different river animals. Just make sure to reserve your slot at least 2 hours in advance (it’s free), as spaces fill up quickly.
Another highlight was the Amazon River Quest ride, which is probably the most exciting activity here. It’s a gentle boat ride through different themed habitats, where you can spot animals such as jaguars, anteaters, and giant otters. Both kids and adults will love it! Be prepared, though—you may need to queue for 30–40 minutes, especially during peak hours, but it’s worth the wait.
Overall, River Wonders is a great half-day or full-day excursion. It’s easy to reach by both taxi and public transport, and the park is stroller-friendly, making it convenient for families with young children. There are also plenty of shaded areas and places to rest, which is important in Singapore’s tropical climate.
Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys nature, animals, or just wants a fun and memorable outing in Singapore!
