Smashing IT! 🥳 Experience some of the most majestic views of the city's skyline. Day or Night. Whatever time you choose to take in all of its splendid sight you won't be disappointed. A great place to grab a quick bite or a cup of coffee and just stare out onto that stunning and fabulous view.

I can say that it is one of the best spots where you can watch the sunset in Toronto. Especially in the evening hours. 2 hours before sunset everyone. They come here with his friends, buys his food or drink, and watches the sunset while having a pleasant conversation. It's a pretty big park. You can see many people doing sports, training or coming to walk the dog. Another view is downtown. You may feel like you are looking at Manhattan from Brooklyn. I will definitely come again. I recommend it to everyone. One small note. We left our car just above Broadview Ave. There was no parking fee.

Tobogganing feels different here, there are multiple points you can choose and have fun with your loves ones. You can park on the street or arrive via street car and walk into the park’s hill covered with snow and toboggan till you are tired. My wife and I love this place is winter.

Great spot to view the Toronto city skyline. It's very easy to reach. We took the 504B from king. You can carry some snacks, a picnic mat and some soda pops and enjoy the sun on a beautiful day. Lots of space to play various sports.

Great panoramic view! It’s beautiful here in the summer, especially during sunset and sunrise. So romantic! I love coming here with Le Beau Croissant and a coffee.

A Local Gem in Toronto. Riverdale Park East is a hidden gem in Toronto, offering a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This expansive park is particularly popular in the winter months, when it transforms into a popular tobogganing hill. The park also features an ice rink, perfect for skating, and sports fields for various activities. One of the highlights of Riverdale Park East is its stunning skyline views. On a clear day, you can enjoy panoramic views of the city, including the CN Tower. The park is also home to a variety of wildlife, making it a great place for nature lovers. Whether you're looking for a place to relax, exercise, or simply enjoy the outdoors, Riverdale Park East is a fantastic choice. It's a must-visit for anyone living in or visiting Toronto.

Me and my girlfriend love this place. So romantic in the evening, especially on a good sunny day. Take ur mat over there to sit and have quality time with your closed ones. Or take a frisbee to play with your pet. You can exercise over here or just sit alone and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful view of this always busy city.

Yelp
This is one of my favourite parks in the city, yet I don't come here often. I guess I'm guilty of being too consumed on my computer to take a walk in the park. I paid myself a visit recently and I'm so glad I did. It's more than just a hill with a good photo-op of the city skyline. Right next to the hill, there's a nice cafe (Rooster Coffee) where you can pick up one of my personal favourite spots to grab green tea/tea latte. If you want to throw yourself a little picnic East Chinatown is nearby for some cheap eats. Isn't this the perfect date spot to hang out during a sunset in warm weather? In winter, this is a prime spot for tobogganing. If you go down the hill, there's a playground where I see talented people busting out gymnastic moves as they use it to work out. You can do a discovery and nature walk down the Don River Trail. Now if you give yourself more time, you also explore out West to Riverdale Farm and Cemetery.

Yelp
It's a nice park with a great view of downtown Toronto and especially the CN Tower. And it has a gorgeous view of the sunset. It has many things to offer for each season. During summertime, you can lay on the hill, play catch or Frisbee; run, walk or bike around the track; play baseball or soccer. In wintertime, you can enjoy sledding.

Yelp
Not to be confused with Rubberdale Park, which is basically an entire park made of rubber. Go figure. This is a park that is magnificent, located right alongside the Don Valley Parkway. It's so gorgeous in this part of the city, and it's amazing to think that this is part of Toronto, and this is just such a beautiful city. It's hustling and bustling and full of everything, and yet you have this gorgeous scenery around here with beautiful parks and this is one of the best of them.

Yelp
Beautiful park. Large enough to play games with friends or sit around for a picnic. The sunset is perfect with the skyline. Many people bring their dogs and play around.

Yelp
Perfect spot for a picnic in the summer! There is a lot of street parking nearby. The park is a large hill with an amazing view of the skyline. Perhaps not friendly for elderly people or those with mobility issues as it is quite steep. At the bottom of the large hill there is a running track and a couple of baseball diamonds. Very grassy and comfortably to lay a picnic blanket and eat some good food. Lots of space for social distancing as well!

Yelp
I am always in awe whenever I walk along Broadview Ave along Riverdale Park East. The vast piece of green, with the great view of downtown core tall business buildings.... an oasis in Toronto. The park contains two baseball diamonds, three playing fields, a soccer field, running track, ice rink, tennis courts and a pool. The slopes here are long but not steep... great for tobogganing! So no matter what's the season, Riverdale Park East is always a great place for families to have some fun!

Yelp
Great views, lots of space for jogging and sitting. Great for sledding in the winter. Very easy to social distance. Easy walking distance to the Danforth if you need to grab a bite to eat.

Yelp
Great park, large for an inner city one, all the great park usuals in one convenient spot: ice skating rink, baseball diamond, hills for winter sledding, and a nice outdoor fitness area with climbing net, parallel bars, pull-up bars, and step benches. Would visit again!

Yelp
I grew up in this neighbourhood and have had so many great memories of this park. It's one of the most amazing parks that I've ever been to for all year round. There's great hills for winter tobogganing, big field with lots of soccer matches that take place here, public pool, hockey rink, two baseball diamonds, a tennis court, trails for biking and jogging and track field to jog around. It also offers a beautiful view of the Toronto skyline and great for sunrise/sunset scenic. It's dog friendly and lots of baby strollers around the neighbouring area. Great community park.

Yelp
This is my favourite park in all of Toronto. When I lived in Riverdale for a short time I loved coming here. There's nothing like sitting in the grass, in the sun watching people. I've enjoyed watching parents taking their kids kite flying, people walking their dogs and other people just enjoying the park like me. It's relaxing despite being right by the Don Valley Parkway. The view of downtown from the park is the best in the city. At night it's magical.

Yelp
4.5 STARS If you want one of the best views of the Toronto skyline, this is where you go. Plus, it's right across the street from The Rooster Coffeehouse (my favourite coffee joint in the city). VIBE Fun. If you get super snow, this is a wonderful place to toboggan. There's a track to run in the summer. There are also tennis courts and a swimming pool with a waterslide. See? I said fun! And man, those hills are great for your glutes! OBLIGATORY CATCHY REMARK The West End does NOT know what they're missing! They need to see it from the other side.

Yelp
An amazing park! This place brings back great memories whenever I used to go sledding down the hilld as a kid. Now I no longer live in the area, but recentley visited with some friends to shoot a scene for the video during sunset (around march). We spent around 3 hours in the freezing cold to film lol, but it was totally worth it! You can see somewhat of the downtown core from the hillside along broadview, and when the sun comes down it is quite the sight too see! If your with your puppy or a friend, its definitely a great spot to stop by and ease yourself into the rest of your day!

Yelp
What an awesome park! Took my dog here for a Saturday afternoon and he loved it! Great huge lawn where your dog can run and run and run. There are some hills and a flat valley in the middle with a running oval. Park was filled with all kinds of people doing all sorts of activities: fellow dog owners playing with their pooches, frisbee players, runners on the track, families and couples picnicing. It was quite scenic and made for a beautiful end of summer Saturday afternoon. What made this park even more awesome was the fact that the bridge connects you to Riverdale Park West, which is a bit smaller but seems more of a dog-park where you can take your pooch to socialize. Nonetheless, great park. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
The Park is one of the best park in the city! Best views and the people that maintain it do such a brilliant job. Give them all a raise. But who ever does the decision making for the tennis courts should be fired. Honestly, those tennis courts have so much potential but the surface is not even tennis. It's rough concrete and your balls don't even last a set. Honestly, these courts along with the courts near Dufferin/Lakeshore and the back courts of Bellewood Trinity hold the title for the worst tennis courts in the city. These tennis courts are located in ideal locations so it's a shame for the city and it's people. Im honestly going to say who ever is in charge of the tennis in these three location should be fired. Because I wouldn't even call then tennis courts. It's like opening a public swimming pool without bleach. It's like having ice hockey without ice. I remember when they resurfaced the tennis courts at Dufferin/lakeshore and it was black asphalt. When I played there, my green tennis balls turned black in less than 10 minutes.

Yelp
Go tobogganing here right now, trust me. Also bring a camera for the most beautiful skyline view in all of TO.

Yelp
This a great sports park nestled in the heart of Riverdale. My rugby team practices there and it is always busy with other sports teams, runners and those enjoing the outdoors.
