Riversage Billings Inn

Nice clean room. Sheets were a little firm like cheaper. They use a flat sheet on the mattress, so it comes untucked when you pull the bedding back. Friendly staff. We asked for a roll away bed and it was in the room waiting by the time we parked the car and grabbed our bags. Basic breakfast. Right near the hospital.

We had a king bed room, the bed was firm and comfy. Not much selection on the TV. The air conditioner was not working so we slept hot. The biggest irk was no one was at the counter when we arrived, so we were locked out of the lobby for about 10 minutes while we waited outside for a staff member to get off her break (after our 13 hour drive). The location is across from the hospital, so if you have a loved one in the hospital, the location is ideal. $160 a night seemed pricey for this, but I guess that's what we should expect in this economy.

A bad experience overall. The first room we went into had a plugged toilet when we arrived which was unfortunate and gross and when we called about it to the front desk, we were given a plunger to deal with it ourselves. When we switched rooms, the second room was adequate. The reason we came to the hotel was to go to a concert which was unfortunately cancelled. We checked out two days early and when I checked out, I was told that we would receive one day of refund but that she (the staff) would co-ordinate the refund to make sure that the hotel would still get paid for the other nights. I was fine with that as I wanted the hotel to get its fair share. However, I have not received a refund, my messages to the hotel have gone unread, and I am still out an additional $4 from the pre-authorization taken at the check-in. I am quite unimpressed.

This was a quick stay for an early flight. Located really close to the airport and next door to the hospital. Rooms were lovely. Was out the door before the 6am breakfast, so can't comment on that.

The best part of this hotel was the service. They helped us make special parking arrangements for our oversized vehicle and were just overall very friendly. The rooms are average but do feature various streaming services on the TV that you can login to access. There is a gym but it is quite small. The breakfast was nice to have but nothing too special. There isn’t much around the hotel unless you are using the nearby medical clinic. All in all, not a bad budget option in Billings considering how much hotel prices have gone up recently.

very disappointed with your service. we certainly left a bag with some purchases in the hotel when we left, we realized it two hours later. we called immediatly and wrote emails too, to ask for the bag to be returned, never responded. this is not professional at all

This is probably not a fair review since we stayed at subpar (motel 6) place the previous night. Riversage was like the Ritz in comparison. Check in person was very friendly and helpful. Free popcorn and fresh baked cookies at the counter. Nice, soft king size bed. (I don't know any kings, but I guess that if they stayed here, they would be comfortable -Mitch Hedberg). Funny thing is that the average age of the clientele is about 80. Not a bad thing. They're typically very quiet. Enjoyable stay in a miserable town like Billings, Montana.

When making the reservation for a room I specifically asked for a room with a recliner. I know rhey have them as we have stayed here several times before. The desk person that took my reservation assured me that we would have a recliner and it is even noted on our record. Well, there was no recliner,and on top of that the bathroom tub was dirty. Their lack of detailed care of their customers is very disturbing. They moved us to another room with again no recliner. |Will think twice about staying here again

A nice (and quiet) hotel near the hospital and downtown. Riversage Billings Inn is easily confused with a similarly-named nearby hotel, but as near as I can tell both might be owned by the same people because the decor is similar. In any case, this property has a very cozy feel to it. The lobby is not huge, but does have comfortable seating and a fireplace to sit near on those cool winter nights. It's in an area of town that has a residential feel, probably because of the large trees surrounding it and the nearby businesses. It doesn't look like a cookie-cutter hotel. The rooms are okay, with comfortable beds. decent wi-fi, a coffee maker, refrigerator, microwave -- all the things you come to expect. Because it's a hotel often used by those visiting the hospital, this hotel takes extra care to provide rooms to accommodate longer stays. This hotel also accepts pets with notice. The breakfast is standard: waffle maker, cereals, proteins, dairy, toast. Because the lobby is relatively small with only a few tables, it might work better to take breakfast back to your room.

You will be hard-pressed to find the kind balance between professionalism & personal consideration demonstrated by the entire staff at Hilltop Inn/Billings, Mt. During our 10 day stay their understanding of our circumstances & attendance to our needs was exemplary. BKerstein & Family

I booked this hotel since it was one of the cheaper ones at the time. (It was in the middle of a long road trip) Location was good and the lady checking us in was very pleasant. The room, however, was not good at all. We had a room with 2 queens. One bed mattress felt newer but the other mattress was old and sagging. There was a weird smell coming from either the bedding or mattress that made it difficult to sleep.

Stayed here when we got in at Billings/Logan for the night and was pleasantly surprized. This place is a little dated, but the staff and cleanliness more than make up for it. This motel is located right next to the hospital so keep that in mind if you have a loved one there and need a close proximity motel (we did not). Easy check in and out with a very comfy bead.

We had a family hospital emergency and were on the road before we even thought about hotels. They got us in both times we needed them. Friendly crew, funny. Breakfast was great and I will be happy to go back again! The price was absolutely satisfactory, we didn't need luxury, but everything was clean and well maintained.

Surgery finally over, after having been delayed by one day, I was given the green light to spend the night in a hotel close to the hospital. Since Sis had stayed here for my last surgery, she drove us over &, with the help of a very pleasant staff, we were soon in our room. And... what a room it was!! The California king bed looked SO inviting, after spending several hours on a gurnee, that I dropped everything, laid down & woke up 2 hours later. Sis said I didn't move once, thus attesting to the comfort of the bed & the knock out meds used during surgery. LOL The room was good sized & came fully equipped with TV, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, hair dryer & a small writing desk that became our dinner table. The bathroom was fully stocked with all most all the comforts of home & the shower looked positively inviting. Dinner was Perkins Restaurant take out & then I climbed into bed & don't remember a thing until 9am the next morning. According to my Smart Watch, I had slept 9 hours & gotten 7 hours of REM sleep. Something that hasn't happened in a very long time. We asked the clerk at checkout, what mattress brand the hotel was using, & were told it was Serta. All I can say is "that explains the good night sleep!" Riversage? You are at the top of my list as a righteous place to stay & you can bet your last dollar I'll be praising your establishment every chance I get. **Highly Recommend

Friendly and professional staff.. neat and tidy rooms.and most a competitive affordable price... For a nite stay me and my husband is very happy with our stay here.. Surely will come again next time we visit billings..

We choose this hotel for the location and price but I would go back just today at this hotel again. very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms and great breakfast. such a nice experience.

Ok hotel. Nothing fancy but comfortable. Sheets were very worn and pillows non existent but it's ok for a few nights. For people needing yo be close to the hospital and clinics it's within a block walk. Handicap accessible, staff helpful.

Great hotel. Very clean. People are very friendly at check in and very eager to make sure you have everything you need.they have a nice breakfast in the morning. Popcorn and cookies in the evening. Dog friendly. Comfortable beds and even a recliner. What else could you ask for? We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful, attentive hotel with a personal touch. Stayed here for 3 days as part of a business trip at the Billings Clinic. Beds super comfortable! CLEAN! This road warrior gives it a 5 star rating!

I recently stayed here with my family for an extended weekend visit with family. I found the Inn very clean and nice furnishings. There was someone smiling and greeted me promptly. My check in was quick and easy. We liked our room, also clean and up to date. We liked that it was a quiet environment and the breakfast was nice. Will stay again.

Reserved a room. Credit card in. Called, emailed n verified. Twice even today n said we'd be late. Then called about microwave and the person there said she has no reservations. I have emails. Booking shows email chain n said they'd call. My husband got runaround twice, told to call back and then we called booking.com. Got Laurie and she said it was worked out, but that there was no reservation on Riversage's end and not sure why since we had been emailing and it shows. Kayla the asst mgr called me back and said she received emails and boking reservation, upgraded us to a larger bed. It wasn't needed, we just wanted the room we booked and would leave in 5-6 hours. It was a disaster. I won't be using their hotel or booking again. Moral of story, avoid this place if you reserved over a month in advance. They will charge you, but remove you from reservation and play dumb. Wow! I was beyond livid.

This may not be the nicest or newest place to stay -- but, the staff is incredible. They truly care about what you are going through and asked how my aunt was doing every morning. Obviously, being close to a hospital they deal with a lot of repeat guests and it shows! Thanks for hospitality!

Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, ample parking = Plenty of necessities for a decent stay. One star missions on account of the cold service, crappy Tav, and absolutely terrible coffee. I hate to complain, so that's not at all what I aim to do. I think it really makes for an above average stay when the people working the desk make an effort to at least PRETEND to be warm and welcoming, ya know? The hotel has a location very close to downtown and is within walking distance of local restaurants and coffee shops, which is a major plus. In my opinion, we shot from the hip on this booking. The Best Western was about the same price and has a pool/hot tub. If I ever return to this place, I'll be there!

This hotel is set deep in the hospital area, so some of the clientele can be disheartening if you are on vacation. Breakfast was good, room was comfortable, and area felt safe.

We stayed here twice in one week during our trip to Yellowstone, It was very clean and quite. Beds were comfortable. Easy access to downtown and near by restaurants. Would recommend. Friendly and very helpful.

Clean, but horrid beds. You could feel the springs. Continental breakfast. And they charge for pack n plays.... :/ close to the hospital. Even with the heat on full, it didn't seem to get very warm, but that's probably because it was below -20 outside!

This inn was so inexpensive, especially in comparison with others located only a few minutes from the airport and in a pleasant setting, that we expected very little. We were pleasantly surprised. The staff is among the friendliest and most helpful we have ever encountered. They genuinely cared that we had a good experience. The room was spacious, clean, and attractive. In addition to the usual amenities, we had both a small refrigerator and a microwave. The king bed was extremely comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again.

Such nice people at the front desk, clean rooms. Comfortable and quiet. Very accommodating and very convenient.

The name of the hotel on this is wrong- It is the RIVERSAGE BILLINGS INN. The hotel is gret, clean, quiet and the staff wonderful

Great location, friendly staff and clean rooms for a very reasonable price. Instead of the cookie many motels offer, the staff makes delicious pop corn. I found the room very comfortable. I was surprised that the room next to ours had two dogs, because I never heard them. I would recommend this inn.

We were very road weary when we got there as the roads from Great Falls to Billings were horrid. We were visiting our daughter at Rocky. The staff was incredible and very helpful. Got us a room. The room was very clean and the night was very quiet. The breakfast was awesome as well. We will be staying here again!

I was shocked that this place got 4.5 stars! Was dirty and had lots of bugs, and when we told one of the workers she really wasn't very nice about it. We had to ask for our room to be cleaned. Breakfast and coffee was eh. Would not come back here.

Not really impressed. Stayed there last weekend. We had no housekeeping services. I let the front desk know. They apologized but made no effort to remedy the situation. The mattresses feel very old. They are not very comfortable. The breakfast was stale breads and pastries. It was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for.

I've stayed at Riversage numerous times over the last two years, and they just keep getting better. Since my first time there, they have renovated most if not all of the bathrooms; no concerns at all about putting a post-op child in the bathtub! They have replaced the air conditioners/heaters in the majority of the rooms; the top floor as of a couple weeks ago had the old ones which struggle, but the 2nd floor has excellent new kinds with thermostats. Despite near 100 degree heat, our room was perfectly comfortable. The beds have been updated I think; they are SO comfortable, and they have added additional and better pillows. The bed covers are all completely white, which is comforting when you're dealing with medical situations; no bagging up the stain-hiding dark print bedspreads here! The staff have always been courteous and helpful, even providing me a place for my post op kid's popsicles at a nurse's request! They've improved their breakfast, now offering not only breads and oatmeal but also waffles. The indoor corridors and locked single entrance at night provides security for traveling alone. Highly recommend!
