The best location next to the river, South Bank, the cultural Centre, and easy walk into the CBD. We were in room 205 close to the road bridge but the glazing must be good as we barely heard the traffic. This hotel is great value with everything you need and expect from more expensive hotels: room is serviced every day, toiletries and hairdryer, tea& coffee even biscuits, and milk in the fridge. Plenty cups, glasses, tissues, extra blankets and pillows. Everything is clean and the shower has wonderful strong pressure and easy to adjust hot and cold water taps.
We stayed for 2 nights and will definitely stay again when we need to be in the city. Parking is complimentary, secure, and seems to be plenty bays available.
Thanks to Tracey who was friendly, helpful and seems to wear many hats as she was servicing the rooms and working on the front desk.
The hotel may be getting old, and there are signs of wear and tear, but some of the negative reviews are unfair as the hotel is overall well maintained and very clean.
