Riverside House Hotel ChiangMai

We really enjoyed our stay here! The front desk team were excellent—incredibly helpful in booking excursions and even arranging for our laundry to be done. A special mention to the night guard, who was absolutely lovely and even offered us some watermelon.||The rooms are large and spacious, making for a comfortable stay. There are also seats for each room outside the door of the room. The pool area is small and also serves as a walkway to other rooms, but in March, it wasn’t too busy, and we never had to wait for a sun lounger. While it is a bit of a walk into town, we knew this when booking and found it manageable.||Breakfast was okay—not Western, but that’s to be expected in Thailand. The fruit selection could be better. The bathroom could use some updating, and be careful in the shower—my partner slipped and hit his rib cage on the side. Also, a rooster at 5 AM gave us an early wake-up call, but that’s just part of the experience!||Overall, a great stay, and we would definitely return.

A great hotel We stayed there three times with 6 adults and were more than satisfied. Everything was super clean, very friendly and courteous staff. The price-performance ratio is fantastic. Thank you very much and we would love to come back.

Had a lovely stay for six days during Christmas and New Year's Eve and would like to say that we made the right choice! The staffs were super nice and friendly. The room was always clean with a nice smell. Despite the small hotel, the place is full of trees and flowers! The garden makes the air super refreshing. We stayed in the building near the garden so it was pretty quiet during the night. Plus, the full breakfast was beyond expectation. The location was in town so it was pretty easy to take a walk for café hopping. Would love to stay again if coming back to Chiang Mai!💓

Excellent place, great prices with a morning breakfast for a king.. (or Queen ;) so good! The pool was really nice and the staff extremely kind and helpful, I asked where I could watch a thai fight and my awesome host got on the phone and called the arena for me to find out if there would be one that night and guided me there, there is someone there 24 hours to make sure everything is safe and comfortable. It is also in a great central location to the river and many hotspots and the local night bizzar

Loved our stay! Rooms have everything you need, beautiful gardens, great location and lovely, attentive staff. Oh and good price laundry service - bonus! Hope to stay again - great value! Thank you for having us🙏

Great location for Xmas and New Year. Central and a short walk to local attractions - markets, fireworks, river trips. A “Grab” ( Uber) will take you further into town if it’s scorchio. Staff here are fab - can’t do enough for you and are super friendly. Rooms are made up daily and breakfast is Thai with eggs toast & butter available. Great little coffee shop run by the hotel. Swimming pool on site. Most rooms have balconies. Supermarket (Rimping ) two minutes away as is massage a 7-11 and ATM. Lots of repeat visitors which is wonderful to see! It can be a little noisy over the holiday season. We booked on recommendation and weren’t disappointed!

We stayed at the Riverside House in November 2024 during the Loy Krathong Festival. Great location, but please note that noise from festival fireworks might keep you up at night! The staff are so friendly and responsive; the rooms were spacious, and ours were by the beautiful small garden in the back. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast each morning and my daughter appreciated the mix of Thai and Western dishes. Would definitely stay again and recommend for all solo and family groups.

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel and I must say… during our 7weeks traveling all around Thailand, this was by far the best hotel.|The rooms are not big but it’s clean, it’s cosy, super comfortable beds and a very nice balcony with a nice view at the garden and swimming pool. Staff is Amazing.
