This is our second time here. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The location is great. Restaurants and attractions are very close by. The staff is always friendly. You can enjoy the pool 24/7 Perfect for children. We'll be back! 🥰❤️

Enjoyed our 3-night stay at this resort with our daughter’s family (total 4 adults/2 small children). Great location near DollyWood attractions and golf course; terrific accommodations for the location/price. Two-bedroom condo was well-appointed and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Check-in and check-out was easy, and staff was very pleasant. Super spacious with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, a front screened-in patio (what a neat feature!) and a back patio that stretched from living room to Master bedroom! Beds were extremely comfortable, although I do wish that the pillows had been a little less “dense”. Bathrooms were super clean with ample towels. Even towels for the pool were right there in the room. Condo had apartment-sized laundry equipment, vacuum cleaner (to clean up after the toddlers), iron & board, blow dryer…all the “things”. Fast elevator to upper floors, and common places (hallways, sidewalks, parking lot, garage, all clean and tidy. We did not have time to use the pool or lazy river (sigh!). We will absolutely return to this resort!

Google
Fabulous location and beautiful resort. You are in the heart of pigeon forge but feel like you aren’t. The condos are very nice and comfortable. Fully equipped kitchens. Has indoor pool, kiddie pool and hot tub and an outdoor lazy river. Also, has spa services but I did not take advantage of that

Google
Omywow people!! My fiance and myself came here for a short break from work and just relax for a night or 2. That quickly became 6 nights. We loved it!! Very cool rooms. It's more like a condo and a huge bathroom and we had a 6th floor room which had a balcony with a pretty view of the mountains. They have a wonderful staff. Definitely not like some other places we have stayed. We slept in on what was originally our departure day...and let me tell you instead of banging our door down like the others or blowing the room phone up. They let us sleep and never acted like we had been a problem at all with what was to be a late checkout. I loved this place so much I now refer to it as "My House" ...And did I mention they have a SPA... Massage and a whole outta this world pampering experience. If you haven't already and want to stay in a 5 star establishment in my opinion with great staff and overall amazing experience then this place is your next stop..

Google
This place is one street off the main drag. The accommodations are comfortable and well kept. They have covered parking. My kids love the lazy river. They have an indoor pool. They have a decent gym for a place that size. We have left our time here and would definitely come back. P. S. If anyone from the property looks at this my only recommendation to you is that you get mattresses which are more firm. These soft mattresses are killing me 😂

Google
Clean, comfortable rooms with a terrific staff. Everyone is helpful and kind here. Lazy River and pool are wonderful after early morning hikes in the Smokys. This is how good service is, and I will be back. Cookies are delicious too.

Google
The property sits on a main road so lots of traffic but for the most part we did not hear that from our room. The balcony overlooked the golf course so was relaxing. The spa services were wonderful and staff was very courteous. The room was clean outside of a minor spot of dust here and there. I hardly heard my neighbors. No smoking allowed in rooms so my friend with allergies didn't have issues. It's pretty central to most everything. I loved our stay.

Google
Great location. Lots to do at the resort and amazing views! Friendly staff. Free coffee in the lobby. Our room had arcade and family games. Stayed once before and it was also very nice.

Yelp
I decided to take a solo trip to the Smoky Mountains for a relaxing weekend. First time in the Pigeon Forge area and was completely over stimulated with all of the attractions and options for adventures! My oh my! Driving onto the property of the resort immediately put me at ease. The resort is located in a central area to all the activities, while being tucked in between a river and a golf course. The check-in was simple and pleasant with warm cookies and coffee waiting on your arrival. This is an ideal resort for solo, couples and/or a family. The options of having access to a lazy river on the grounds along with an indoor pool is great! The condo was wonderful, with the softest linen and a nice spacious bedroom. There is a full kitchen with full size stainless steel appliances. The full living room leads out to a nice cozy patio overlooking the bubbling river and beautiful ducks. This by far is one of the nicest resorts with a complete spa providing all self care services. I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
During an impromptu trip we decided to have a spa day-- literally, from 10:00am until about 4:30pm. We got couples massages and added dry scrubs and peppermint scalp massages, couples facials with eye treatment and light therapy, manicures and pedicures, enjoyed the salt room, enjoyed the float room, relaxed in the sauna before and after, and had a gifted snack/lunch for spending our day here. All of the folks here were so kind and accommodating-- the front desk, the masseuses, the aestheticians, everyone! We left feeling pampered and rejuvenated. The ladies locker room offers a couple showers, lockers (of course), and Moroccan Oil products with brushes, combs, blow dryers and flat irons available for use. They also had complimentary cotton swabs and hair ties if you didn't have your own.

Yelp
We had the most amazing stay this week. Check-in was amazing. The resort was clean, parking was easy. We had everything we needed in our home away from home. Comfortable bed, full kitchen, walking shower with dual shower-heads, fireplace, balcony... spoiled! I spend time at the lazy river each day. If you're looking for a chill resort, with scenic river views, this is your place.
google avatar

Suzanne C.

Yelp
The room was wonderful and large, definitely big enough for all of us! Only downside is, there's no on site restaurant. The pools were nice, as was the lazy river, and it was a quiet escape from the chaos of the Parkway!

Yelp
RiverStone Resort is a hidden gem in Pigeon Forge! We enjoyed 4 days of total comfort -- the lazy river, indoor pool complex, and especially the Jacuzzi were perfect for unwinding after exploring Dollywood and the nearby shows. Our suite was spacious and clean, and the staff was welcoming and professional throughout our stay. Definitely a place we'll return to, and next time we're bringing friends!

Yelp
Booked a room back in Mid-July, amazing room, friendly service, beds were very comfortable to sleep in, views from balconies were amazing, lots of activities nearby, and what's with the spa? It is amazing! No delays and plans were months-out!

Yelp
We loved our couples massage. Our therapist were attentive to our needs. There had been a mix up on our reservation and one of the therapist had been in an accident so they had been short staffed. They came and explained all this and apologized for the mix up. They were very accommodating and got us a new appointment the same day. Then on top of that they took off half our bill. I feel like they went above and beyond. We also stayed at this resort. The staff upon check in wasn't the friendliest or most welcoming. The little hallway to our room always had a Smokey smell and we do not smoke. The inside of our room was very nice and clean. The pool and lazy river was suppose to be heated but it was too cold for us to get in. There was no restaurant or breakfast service within the facility. I would go back in the future.

Yelp
Not bad. Stayed here for two nights and it did the job. Condo type set up with full kitchen as well as washer/dryer. Huge plus when traveling with family. A single load detergent is in the room. You can get more at the front desk for free. Spacious, clean room with a balcony. We had five in our party and it was plenty of room. Pool area is ok with a small lazy river. Indoor pool and spa is open 24/7. There are separate room and pool keys which was kinda weird. Parking is pretty convenient. Self park. No charge. They had luggage racks that you can use to load up your stuff and roll to your room. Good location with plenty to do nearby. Reasonably priced.

S B.

Yelp
I have zero complaints. I usually find things I don't like but I have none. Rooms are SO CLEAN and spacious; we had a 3rd floor condo with 2 rooms for my family of 4 and our dog with washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen and cleaning supplies for your stay. There is not a full service clean every day (you can pay extra if you want it) but they work very hard to provide you with everything you need. Our condo had a patio in front which was also perfect for our dog. The parking situation was good. We parked in the garage and our F-150 had no issues with space. I will absolutely be coming back!

Yelp
My short stay at this Condo was comfortable! It was a 3 bedroom & 2 Bath with a wonderful view! The location was on the end and I appreciated the quietness that we had in on this area! My family felt secure and comfortable and it is centrally located to many restaurants; markets and attractions (by car or walking)! The condo is spacious and during the visit we didn't feel we are on top of each other! There were flat screen TV's in each room with Direct TV (HBO & Max Premium Channels)! There is one indoor pool and outdoor pool! Overall-comfortable stay!

Sarah M.

Yelp
Not only was our condo really spotless but the entire grounds were clean. The lazy river, pool, and hot tub were clean and beautiful. The waterfall at the lazy river was such a nice touch. We will definitely be returning to RiverStone Resort and Spa every time we return to Pigeon Forge. The kitchen was fully stocked with all cooking items you would need, the beds were very comfy. The best part: it was so quiet!!!!! We couldn't hear the people above us at all! The long hours for the pool and lazy river came in handy too!!!
google avatar

Viv N.

Yelp
This place is a MUST!! Super clean resort inside and out. Walking distance to all the fun entertainment. We even had geese visitors on the property. The lobby was beautifully decorated for Christmas!! Family friendly and couples cozy

Yelp
This place exceeded our expectations. It was very clean, which is hard to come by these days. We had a 2 bedroom King condo and everything was up to date. No issues with anything and we throughly enjoyed our stay. Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge were extremely crowded, probably won't visit again in the summer!

R S.

Yelp
we were pleasantly surprised. Booking online you never know really what you are going to get. Our accommodations consisted of a 3 bedroom condo with a full kitchen, dining area, stone fireplace, jacuzzi tub and large master suite that overlooked the golf course. we also decided to have a spa day which was relaxing. The resort was undergoing renovations which is understandable because some areas did show its age but that's not going to affect my review. one elevator was out of service just for a day but that was fixed quickly. the resort was responsive to these issues which was appreciated. This weekend we are staying in a Hilton and can honestly say even though our current room is nice it's not as cozy as our RiverStone suite. if we travel through TN again, we definitely will stay again and will recommend it to others!!

Yelp
Very nice condo. Had a three bedroom (they upgraded from two bedroom) all with king beds. Two baths, kitchen, dining table , two recliners, one sofa and one chair. Four tvs. Washer and dryer. Spacious balcony o er looking golf course. Indoor pool, lazy river and more. Close to Dollywood and the main drag. Will come back

Yelp
We checked in at the pet friendly Riverstone Resort & Spa on Thanksgiving day 2024. We were charged with a 20 dollar a day extra for having our pet. So pet tolerant is more like it. Also, we were threatened to be charged much more if our pet was complained about by another patron. Its always nice to be threatened when you're on a getaway. The batters in our T.V. remote were dead, so we called the front desk. We were told to run on back to the desk to get batteries because they had no one to bring them to us. The office was 4 buildings down. The room was small and the fireplace didn't work. also, if you're wandering if check out time is 11am or 12am. Its actually 10am. This place is really good at changing and overcharging you. Helping you enjoy your stay not so much. Just find a nice place to stay and avoid this nasty place if you can. They are all about hidden charge. I truly don't think they care about guests.

Yelp
There's a lot I like about this place but there's one big problem for me. The rooms are not cleaned well. We also found the beds to be uncomfortable. They werent the worst we've ever slept on but you can definitely feel the springs and they're too hard. We arrived earlier today and took a look around our condo. There's dust everywhere! There are fingerprints on all table surfaces and on the countertops. The large bathtub in the master has moldy jets. The sliding glass doors are dirty. I havent reported it yet because we've been out busy all day and got in after 11 but I will report it tomorrow and hope they are able to thoroughly clean it. Other than the cleanliness, parking is free and plentiful. There is an indoor pool, bounce pad for kids, a beautiful river view and the condo is spacious. If it were clean, I would've given it four stars. These condos were quiet for a shared space and that's something I definitely appreciate because I'm a light sleeper. There are a lot of signs of water damage and age in the condo. There's tons of scratches, scuffs and water marks everywhere. It's a super short drive to Dolly's Stampede show. You can see it right across the small river. Theres so much to see and do in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. In December, there are beautiful holiday lights and the town of Gatlinburg looks like it's out of a Hallmark movie. We stayed in #428 and would again if it were properly cleaned, especially during Covid!

Yelp
We really enjoyed our stay at RiverStone. Parking was free, and our condo building was immediately across from the pool building, which was well-maintained (and lots of fun for the children). The rooms/condos are well-maintained, and will either give you an overlook of the river and Pigeon Forge, or the Gatlinburg Golf Course, with the mountains wherever you look in the distance! Traffic was a little dicey, getting in on a Tuesday afternoon, and it isn't always the most fun getting a larger vehicle in and out of places (if you've ever been to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, you know how that traffic can be!). But you are so close to just about every Pigeon Forge attraction, and can even have the supermarket Publix deliver your groceries if you don't feel like going out! The kitchen and laundry amenities were excellent, with the only issue being a temperamental dishwasher that was fixed in less than 30 minutes by their excellent maintenance staff. For relaxation, the master bath was a wonderful experience--jetted tub and a tiled shower with incredible acoustics for you singers. Our bed was very comfortable, and the evenings could be spent in front of the gas fireplace, the balcony window open bringing in just a hint of fall chill. All in all, our family gives RiverStone a wonderful review, and hope we can return soon!

Laurie J.

Yelp
Second time staying here and love it! The condos are spacious, equipped with everything you could need, and are CLEAN! I am a neat freak so this is so appreciated! My only advice is to skip the river view units and try to get a golf course view. The 'river view' units give you a glimpse of the mountains and the river down below BUT you also see the parkway, parking lots, other neighboring buildings and currently (May 2023) there's a ton of construction noise from echoing around from other properties. So ask for a golf course unit if possible!

Yelp
Maranda really went above and beyond. I really appreciated her going the extra mile. I had a situation and I was very upset. Maranda found a solution and fixed the issue. I feel very grateful. Thank you and we'll come back here when we visit again.

Yelp
PROS: Ok, so the room itself is super nice and clean. Definitely spacious- we got a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom and the beds are comfy, theres a jetted tub and the echo in the shower is amazing because dont we all sing in there?? Just me? Ok. Also, the kitchen is STOCKED with anything you need to whip up breakfast lunch and dinner. There's even an ice maker, a vacuum, mop, and broom. The fireplace makes it so cozy and there is a washer and dryer. Score. CONS: When checking in I arrived at 2pm because I travel every month and have never been rejected for early checkin, especially during COVID as there are usually restrictions in place as to how many rooms are booked per night. I was surely rejected. Ok, cool. We go get a late lunch. I come back at 3:48pm (checkin is at 4pm) and am rejected again. At this point im thinking WTH. So i am pretty annoyed and ask about the COVID restrictions in this place and they said they have every. single. room. booked. What restrictions? So I am pretty irritated by this point and I say ok and grab my ID off the counter. I turn to leave and the front desk girl completely ignores me until I walk away. No bye, no thank you, no have a good day. Impeccably poor service skills. This knocked off two stars for me but the rooms saved the review from being a disaster. (: I also found a small piece of a toy sitting on one of the dining room chairs which means they probably didnt sanitize nor wipe those down....

Yelp
This was our second visit here, with our 4 kids. Great location a block off the main drag and right on the river. Indoor pool and hot tub and outdoor lazy river, as well as jungle Jim, gym etc. Clean, large rooms with everything you need.

Peggy M.

Yelp
What a lovely place to enjoy a mild TN Christmas! The location is awesome and the and resort is nicely appointed and kept! Samuel at the front desk has the most welcoming smile, and is excellent in organization. We loved everything about Riverstone!
google avatar

Yelp
Had a wonderful stay we can't wait to stay again soon. Staff was friendly and hopeful. Rooms were very spacious and clean. The personal balcony and view were just amazing. Thanks to everyone there for helping us have such a wonderful vacation!
google avatar

Liza P.

Yelp
Spent a week in two bedroom condo. Can't say enough nice things about it. View from screened in porch off the kitchen was the river. View from balcony off living room was the golf course. Each had table and chairs with ceiling fans. Can only imagine how nice it would be in the summer. CLEAN, everything was spotless and rugs and furniture like new. Especially appreciated the fitness room and indoor pool were open twenty four seven. Both spotless. Wow, a wonderful spa day, treated so special. Especially the facial. Great discounts on the net this time of year. Our weather was very nice Walked Gatlinburg, had supper and live entertainment at the Ole Red. Must try their grilled orka, home made tater tots and best sandwich that I'be ever eaten, the salmon BLT. River Stone is located about a mile and a half from the Island and a block from the Parkway. Turn at Stop light eight.

Yelp
We came sort of last minutes after having to cancelling our Orlando vacation due to the hurricane coming through. My husband was able to find a room during Memorial Day weekend. Upon driving in, we realized this place must be a big deal. The welcome was beautiful. The property sits on a beautiful stream of water and you can overlook it in the lobby. The lobby itself was very clean and nice looking. We got our keycard right away and were given a map of the property. There's fishing (need a license first and your map tells you where to get one), a lazy river with inter tubes, 24/7 indoor pool, and a jumping pillow. The property looks very clean and well kept. At any given time you'll see employees walking by. We got a condo and immediately noticed how spacious the room was. Full kitchen with dishes and silverware, coffee maker, oven, convection oven, dining room table that seats 6, coffee table, two sofa couches, a queen bed, a king bed, two bathrooms, and a washer and dryer. Also, you get your own enclosed front porch and table that seats 4 and also a back balcony/porch. WiFi included. As we unloaded everything in the rooms, I noticed a lot of smudges on the walls, someone tried to match the paint on the walls and used a darker shade, smudges of dirt around light switches, paint missing on corners, and the room looks a bit dated and dark but it's sort of designed with a cabin look in a way so I guess the dark look is okay. By the way, you get detergent for dishes and clothes. Bring your own coffee! Do not expect this to be a regular hotel. Tho is more like a timeshare in which you need all your own things. If you want brewed coffee though, walk to the lobby several feet away or drive to it and get some. Save time though and bring your own coffee. They give you a regular coffee maker and one that can brew single cups or pods. The view is beautiful overlooking the golf course. You get a DVD player and can also hook up your own decides your the TVs using your own HDMI. You can also sign into YouTube or Netflix to get your own shows but don't forget to disconnect your username. I noticed a stone missing from the fireplace and something gross stuck on one of the remote controls. The carpet is ratted and looks old. Definitely need to be replaced. The beds are comfortable. Oddly though, when drawing a bath, the water smelled like chlorine. Maybe that's what they use to clean the bathtubs? Not sure but the smells was overwhelming. Honestly, the dirt, ratty carpet, missing paint isn't enough to deter us from coming back. I'd quickly decide to not use a regular hotel that had rooms like this but this place was just fun to stay in and felt like staying in our own apartment. I'm sure we will be back. The location is perfect to get to Gatlinburg, Dollywood, the golf course, and hit all the fun things nearby. One thing they should do is at least provide chess/checker pieces to the checker board provided in the living room. Not a need but would be fun. Maybe they had games to rent in the lobby? Not sure. Definitely try this place out and take advantage of the activities on the property.

Yelp
I have to say that this resort was on point! It was better than we expected and we had one of the renovated rooms (which I will ask for again). The resort has everything on the inside to make you feel away from home...full kitchen, huge flat screen tvs in the living room and bedrooms, washer/dryer, dishes and glasses, dish washer, garage level parking, bathroom with a jacuzzi and a balcony. The bedrooms have ceiling fans too. They also have a 24 hour pool as well as a golf course for those of you who like to do that sort of thing. I will certainly make a return visit for sure. They keep the grounds well maintained. If you want your room cleaned during your stay, you will need to coordinate this with the front desk as this is not done automatically. The check in process was really smooth too. They give you a checkout procedure checklist, listing of local restaurants and a map of the resort. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable...we greatly appreciate it!!

Wendy L.

Yelp
Second time staying here and brought family so we got the two bedroom condo. Wow wow wow, it's huge! Every amenity is here: jacuzzi, king beds, full kitchen and dining area, and large private balcony as well as a screened in porch. I recommend that while staying here, avail yourself of the spa in the main building because I certainly will. Staff is great, really friendly. Location is close to many attractions and restaurants plus shopping. Traffic is sheer madness but hey, that's tourism. There's a tram that you can use to get around town for a nominal fee though routes might be limited due to Covid. Just get a room here already; you won't regret it.

Yelp
Mixed feelings about this resort. On the surface, I was impressed by the luxurious accommodations. The staff was very friendly and courteous. We stayed in a one bedroom condo which faced the river. The suite was very spacious and had most amenities that you would find at home (pots, pans, utensils, etc). Despite the highway noise, it was very relaxing to sit out on the patio. Now to the cons. The room was showing some age. Hardwoods were buckled in places. The shower handles were loose and it was very confusing trying to manage the different settings to the six spray heads. Be sure to bring coffee with you as the condo was equipped with a coffeemaker, but no complimentary coffee was provided. The bed was the biggest disappointment. I prefer a firm mattress unlike my significant other who could not sleep on this bed. However, even I found the bed too firm for my comfort leading to a night of restlessness. We only stayed one night so in fairness, I didn't have the opportunity to see if the staff would accommodate us into a different situation. All in all, the location was great (5 min from both Dollywood and The Island). The resort amenities were great. I would recommend as long as you bring a mattress topper and coffee with you.

Tommy H.

Yelp
It was decent. Positives: The condo was large and comfortable. Plenty of room. Plenty of closet space. You can get attached to the condos in a short time and feel like you are at home. Close to a variety of things in Pigeon Forge and easy to get to. Good pool for the kids. I wish the lazy river were attached to the pool, but whatever, it was still nice to look at (too cold for us to go into). Meh: Nice workout area, but every time I was in there, kids (aged 9-13) kept coming in there and screwing around. Different ones every night. You didn't need a keycard to get into the workout room proper, so that might have been what attracted them. The "game room" was pretty lame. No real view of the mountains at all, if that is important to you, and some of the entranceways are a little murky.
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
Awesome staff! Lazy river is a blast, great time for kids of all ages. We liked it so much we asked for a extension to our trip (one extra day) with admittedly late notice. They were very accommodating and although we had to switch rooms they helped move our stuff into the new room! Full kitchen, rooms nice and clean, great walking area around hotel. Second time we have been here and we will be back!

Yelp
This is a very nice place. We stayed in the one bedroom Living room-kitchen Full kitchen with stainless appliances. Fireplace. Pull out sofa bed. Little balcony. Flat screen tv. Lots of channels. Granite countertops. Ceiling fan. Small appliances like toaster, coffee maker, and blender. Bedroom. Comfortable king sized bed. Ceiling fan. Another flat screen tv. 3 dressers. Good sized closet Bathroom. Granite countertops. Room has either a whirlpool/shower combo or a massage shower. Tile on the shower. Stackable washer and dryer. No coins needed. Pool - gym. They are in a separate building. Pool has a kiddie pool, regular pool and a hot tub. Gym is good sized with many machines. Both are open 24 hours which is real nice. There is a lazy river but it wasn't open during our stay Parking A few spots out front or a parking is under the hotel in the garage. Spa 65 minute hot stone, mud, and hand massage was $125 and was excellent. Rooms and property were clean and updated. Would stay here again and very much recommend it. No restaurant on property but you are right in the heart of the strip. 3 minutes away from Dollywood.

Sofia R.

Yelp
Everything about this stay was great! The rooms were spacious and the resort was placed in the middle of Pigeon Forge with very easy access to the main road. Samuel was exceptionally helpful checking us in and making sure all our needs were met!

Yelp
Beautiful grounds and very clean inside and out. Rooms are large with kitchens. Indoor pool and outdoor lazy river. Centrally located. Free coffee and danishes in the lobby - skip the stale hard danishes though. Spa service was so-so. Facial was very good but massage was more of a rub and I couldn't describe it as even a light massage. Would stay here again and skip the spa.

Yelp
The place is beautiful. I didn't get the chance to explore the last river maybe next time. Staff was nice and friendly and the location is excellent. Will definitely be returning

Yelp
Let me start by sayng the beautiful well-appointed cabin, the front desk personnel, the lazy river and all the amenities are five-star. If that's all you care about please consider this place a five-star and don't read the rest. However unfortunately that's not all that counts to me. I was headed to McGhee Tyson ANGB for work and some friends wanted to come along to visit Dollywood and found RiverStone online. They wanted to stay in a real cabin for the full Smoky Mountain experience and this seemed like the perfect place. When checking in the front desk told us that the cabin was located at the end of the property, which is exactly what we wanted. We drove out there and noticed that although it's the end of their property it's pretty much on the same plot of land as two cabins right next door on the same gravel road. The cabin is beautiful, large, and very clean. The full kitchen had more items to cook with than we could use and the rocking chairs and swing chair on the porches were fun. There is a lovely river right across the gravel road which makes the whole scene picturesque. The cabin is fantastic, although the location we noticed wasn't as great as we thought as people regularly drove by on the gravel road. It's not a busy road, but it's not empty either. Ok so we're not out by ourselves in the wilderness, but that's alright, the cabin is worth it. However at 7:30 the next morning there was a lot of obnoxious loud noise. Look out the window to see a trash truck emptying massive trash containers maybe 20 feet from the cabin. That would make sense why people would drive past the cabin on the gravel road - they were dumping their trash into those containers? Anyway that lasted a bit and we figured we were done with that noise for the week, but not so, two days later at 8:30am the trash truck was at it again. I'm one of those folks who like to sleep in when I don't have to get up early and unfortunately I'm not much of an early morning person so this whole trash truck thing didn't work for me. Although the cabin was really terrific in itself there's no way I'd stay here due to the noise and proximity to the other cabins. So I'm torn here as far as rating goes. The front desk personnel, the lazy river, the pool, and the cabin are all five stars. However this was not a cabin in the woods or any other such thing, and the noise level - although not constant city noise - certainly wasn't welcome. Because of my dislike of the noise I would try to find a different cabin that is more secluded or just on a quieter road and hope that it would be as nicely appointed as this one. Or maybe if I don't want to do the cabin experience I'll try one of their condos and it will be quieter.

Yelp
READ THE LAST LINE, IT IS CRITICAL INFORMATION!!!!! I would preface this whole comment with "it is a beautiful facility in close proximity to Dollywood and all the pigeon forge stuff". Where I digress is they add a 40$ cleaning fee with occupancy and sales tax. To this I say fuck you. I am entering an agreement to stay at your hotel(whatever you want to call it) my expectations include clean and safe. I shouldn't have to pay to clean it, that is _your_ end of the contract motel. I sure as fuck shouldn't have to pay occupancy or tax for your employees to do something that is typically included in any rental. So it's nice but they are do fuck every single person that stays there out of an extra $45.

Yelp
It takes a lot for me to leave 5 stars, but our trip this weekend deserves it. The resort was the cleanest hotel I have stayed at in years. Smelled heavenly fresh when we walked in our rooms. Everything was perfect from the pool to the coffee and muffins in the lobby. We will definitely be coming back!

Yelp
This place is pure country bliss. We were wanting a decent place to spend a couple of days while we transfer. We were so pleasantly surprised with how beautiful and cozy this place is. We ended up staying an extra day because we enjoyed it so much. The beds are so comfy..the tubs were heaven. We also enjoyed the fitness area. The staff is all very helpful and friendly. Thank you for such a wonderful stay and helping my daughters birthday wonderful.

Yelp
This is NOT a resort! They have a spa on-site and that is where the word resort comes from. If you use more towels than the TWO provided you can not get more, they tell you to wash them yourself. So now you have to find a grocery store for detergent. No coffee in the room. Now you need to go buy coffee. There's a cleaning check off list to follow before you can check out. So plan on clocking in and doing some work for "the resort" on your vacation! Resort is a FALSE CLAIM!

Yelp
Beautiful and comfortable place to say! The grounds and rooms are very clean. We enjoyed golf course views and were treated to free fireworks! The beds are comfortable and it is close to many attractions. I love that it's pet friendly.

Yelp
Favorite place to stay in the Smokies. The location is extremely convenient and all of the rooms are always very clean and we love staying here especially at Christmas time. The only bit of aggravation we have is that the skillets are not sufficient. So just be sure to grab your iron skillet before you go.

Yelp
This was the 2nd time at this resort. Stayed here in 2014 and now in 2020. There is not much to say for change. There has been an addition of a play area for kids at the front and a bounce pillow at the back near the river. The last time I stayed here, the only issue I had was the rude front desk person. She is still here for some reason and has not changed at all. It's frustrating to spend the money we do here and experience conversation with her during check in, she discards you mid conversation, mid sentence and all like you were never there. Fitness center was dirty, no towels, water jug was empty and what bothered me the most was there were absolutely no cleaning rags or spray fo disinfect the equipment. There was not even hand sanitizer. Building 4 has the worst WiFi connection, 1 bar if you are I the bed room. For the positives, the location is great and located near everything in Pigeon Forge, the pool is very clean and so is the river. I will say for the price we pay, rude front desk and nasty fitness center, it too high for little things like that. If it's called a resort, act like you work at a resort. Not saying I need my butt kissed. However, kindness goes a long way, especially in 2020. For me and my family, we won't be back to River Stone. Good luck on your stay.

Yelp
Leah Black was such an amazing message therapist. Im visiting from California and I have had my fair share of massages because my line of work. Leah was great! I really appreciated her making sure my tight muscles were worked out and she focused on exactly what I needed! Everything about the Riverstone Resort was awesome, from the welcoming ladies in the front to the relaxation focus throughout the spa. Such an awesome find here in Pigeon Forge.

Yelp
I saw all the pics online before i stayed, the place looked gorgeous, i arrived and it basically is a set of 3, 6 story buildings. When going to my room on the 6th floor i walked past many units which have built in screen porches at the front door which gladly showed off folks dingy patio furniture. Looked very much like a older/rundown timeshare to me. Once i got inside i was happy to see hardwood floors but my happiness ended quick. The TV in the living room was very small and cheaply mounted to the wall, felt like it was going to break off if I moved it to much. There was a gas fireplace with a timer that was kind of cool but i didn't use it. There also is a kitchen that serves its purpose but again, i didn't use, i was just staying a couple of nights by myself. One of the biggest turn offs was when i turned the lights on in the living room i noticed the furniture's leather and upholstery was wearing away, it looked very bad and told me things have not been kept up well. The shower was nice and large and they offered a couple complimentary soaps but no shampoo or anything like that, i know suites typically don't have that but at the price i paid to stay i was hoping to get lucky and find some shampoo, no such luck though. The patio overlooked a parking lot and small stream, there are chairs on the patio but you can barley fit one person outside the patio balcony is so small. All in all i think my 75 year old parents my like this place but i wouldn't stay here again, i would take a Hampton Inn any day over this. For the amount of money spent here to have furniture failing apart and TV almost falling off the wall, no thanks. Plus it just smelled "old". Just my two cents, the staff were courteous as well but just very outdated and worn.
