We went for lunch and were sat down at a table on Sunday 21 December. We didn't get attended to for 15 minutes, and after that did not receive our meals for another 40 minutes. Two adults and two teenage children.
I understand when a restaurant is busy or short staffed, but the key is to communicate. Let the customer know, and give them the option of whether they want to continue. From experience I would have expected that the manager could have offered a comp round of drinks as we were not the only table effected.
Considering the location and expectation, I thought it was a total let down for what is a great business with a solid reputation.
The food was okay at best.
