Stayed here for 5 nights. Location is decent, the CBD and botanic gardens are walking distance away and there are buses nearby. The room was nice enough, pretty spacious and clean on arrival. However, they did not clean my room once while staying there (besides replacing some towels). I am not sure if you needed to ask for that or if it was extra, this was not made clear. My room was right above the restaurant so unfortunately I was woken up by people moving chairs at 6am. There was also noise from the freeway nearby. The wifi also rarely ever worked properly so I had to use the hotspot from my phone instead. Overall, it's okay if you're staying just one or two nights but any longer, I would recommend seeing if there are any better options.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, perfect pillows, well equipped kitchen. Excellent location We stayed for 6 nights for £451 GBP which we thought great value. Bit strange for us that we had to use the aircon unit to heat the room but that worked well. Downside was the bathroom was a bit cold when stepping out of the lovely hot shower but we just dried ourselves quickly. 😂 Breakfast bar downstairs was fantastic: food and convenience

Great hotel with very well equipped and comfortable room. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Only minor drawback was my room was right at the end of a corridor at the very back of the hotel, which meant the WiFi was patchy.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent stay at Riverview. Shortly after getting into bed, I noticed bite marks and clear signs of bed bugs. It was a deeply unsettling and distressing experience. I immediately reported the issue to the front desk. While the staff acknowledged the problem, they offered only to move us to a different room. Given the presence of bed bugs, we had serious concerns about the overall hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout the hotel and felt that simply switching rooms wouldn’t address the root of the problem. Despite the situation, the hotel refused to offer us a refund, which we felt was completely unreasonable under the circumstances. We ended up leaving the property that night and dealing with the added stress and inconvenience on our own. This experience left us feeling frustrated, uncomfortable, and poorly treated. I strongly advise future guests to exercise caution, and I hope management takes immediate steps to resolve these serious hygiene and customer service issues.

Great location just near CBD with lower prices. Room was clean and amenities provided were sufficient. Glad to have a washing machine and dryer in the hotel too.

Great location, rooms with character, friendly warm and welcoming staff. Not too far from the Perth CBD but just far enough away to be quiet. Thank you to Erik on reception for being so welcoming.

Quaint little hotel tucked away in a quiet corner, with impeccable service by Eric and his team. Breakfast bar serves awesome food and coffee as well. Staff do not work 24 hours, which is loved cos it added to the feel of exclusivity to the place. Rooms are simple and basic, with a kitchenette for simple cooking (watch out for the smoke detector though 🤣). Nearby is the famed Jacob's Ladder, great for a morning workout! Staff will direct you to the nearest train station, Elizabeth Quay, which is about 10 min walk away. But if you walk out to and cross the main road at Harvest Terrace, there are free CAT buses (Green, Purple, Blue) which will ALSO take you to the Elizabeth Quay Busport. The Blue CAT will take you further to the Perth Busport, also passing by Barrack Square (for ferries to Rottnest), Hay Street Mall (for the usual shopping), WA Museum and the Northbridge area (for awesome restaurants and cafes). Will definitely be back here again!

We picked the hotel based on price / location as well as the laundry / kitchen facilities. Location is great and the best thing about the hotel. Reception staff were welcoming and helpful, as noted elsewhere not 24 hour reception. Laundry room is only open when reception is open and we appreciated being able to wash / dry clothes on our long trip. Room was basic and clean, couch was in a weird position - under the TV! A few things would make the rooms much better eg better soundproofing, fixing gaps between windows and frame. We were woken up most mornings by the traffic / noise of restaurant below around 7am. Kitchen was sufficient to cook in, we made 4 meals in it over 7 days. Also useful to be able to keep breakfast / lunch stuff in fridge. There was some evidence that the hotel is trying to be sustainable e.g soap, recycled toilet paper. Again a few improvements here eg offer recycling bins would be great. Overall, a good stay.
