Riverview Terrace

This place was beyond amazing. One of the most luxurious places I've ever stayed at. I felt like I was in a beyond 5 star accommodation due to how clean and well built the facilities are. James and Nicky were amazing hosts, super friendly and food coffee was delicious. Much better service then your standard hotels it definitely had a personal touch which was awesome as I was traveling the south island solo. Highly recommend this place

This bed and breakfast in Wanaka was amazing! My husband and I went in July (winter) for our honeymoon. Both of us had never been to New Zealand and the hosts were absolutely amazing for our discovery of a new town in a new country. The rooms were immaculate, beautiful views and cleaned every morning by the hosts. There was breakfast in the morning with a robust menu of options, as well as tapas at 6pm, with dinner recommendations. They went above and beyond with accommodations, called and made reservations for us lost Americans and sat and visited with us and made us feel so welcome. I would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone who is looking for a relaxing, all inclusive getaway. It's close to the city, but far enough away that it is peaceful. The dogs were an EXTRA treat. So well behaved and we missed our dog so much, it was such a great gift to have two wonderful dogs there. My husband and I hope to fly my own parents to Wanaka for their anniversary to stay at this bed and breakfast.

We had the most amazing stay. The place is superb and the views are exceptional. Its so comfortable with amazing amenities and wicked spa bath. Highly recommend riverview. James and Nick the hosts are so lovely and accommodating to your every need.

Beautiful place. The view is amazing. Perfectly clean, very comfy bed, spacious, spa bath in room, absolutely delicious breakfast with many choices. Hosts were lovely, informative and helpful. YOU HAVE TO USE THE OUTDOOR TUB. Skygazing is a must from the spa. We saw so many shooting stars and the milky way. It was magical. Very close to puzzling world and lake wanaka. Excellent choice if you can book here! I cannot fault my stay, absolutely perfect.

We rented the whole house for a week with a combined family of 6 adults, 2 teenagers and a large elderly inside dog. Can not fault this place. Yes very pricey but it is worth every single cent. Just bring food and alcohol everything else is provided. Oh and absolutely bring coffee beans if you are a bit of a barista, coffee machine to die for plus grinder set for the perfect grind. Location is handy to everything you can possibly think of. And a new 4 Square Supermarket in Albert Town makes it a little easy if you only need a couple of things.

When you are in Wanaka, that is a excellent stay. Owners are very nice and James even serves homemade wine. And that one is very very good wine. Enjoy the hot tub when you watch the stars at night, awesome.

Five stars is right, such a great place, a home away from home. The hosts Nicky and James are amazing. The setting and views are divine. Relax in the spa and enjoy the amazing hospitality and food in a relaxed comfortable surroundings.

We had an incredible stay at Riverview Terrace. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended an extra night. Location is excellent, accommodations are exceptional and the hospitality from James exceeded expectations.

Staying at Riverview Terrace was like getting to experience a NZ homestay. Pam and Peter were such warm and welcoming hosts. They provided afternoon canapés and wine, which was very generous. Peter drove us to the restaurant we'd selected for dinner, and then returned to pick us up when we were done despite it being after 10 PM. First-rate service all around. The house was clean and spacious, the yard immaculately maintained with a lovely view out of the French doors in our room. Our room had all the comforts a weary traveler could desire - a huge comfy bed, a large modern bathroom, and a full-sized closet, all very clean and quiet. We enjoyed a sound night's sleep. In the morning Pam made us a large breakfast with more options than we could even eat. She was so kind to customize all food items to meet my dietary restrictions, and even made us delicious, hot from the oven egg-free apple muffins. Because we had to get back on the road immediately following breakfast, Pam even packed two muffins for us to take. We greatly appreciated all their efforts to make us feel so spoiled.
