My husband and I stayed here this past weekend and it was absolutely fantastic. Our room was clean and bright. It had so much character and was cozy. We really enjoyed our view. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We met the owner and she was such a delight. We loved the rustic decor and the quilts on the walls were beautiful. Breakfast every morning was delicious and cookies with wine in the evenings was such a wonderful treat. We are really looking forward to our next visit.

Loved this place! My husband and I spent our wedding anniversary here. Our room was lovely and the staff was so accommodating and nice. The breakfast was delicious and we loved the afternoon cookies and lemonade. We are planning on spending next year at this charming little inn. It was great to be able to walk every where we went and enjoy the river walk. The only downside is they don't have a parking garage so be prepared to pay a parking garage for the amount of time you spend there.

My husband and I, along with another couple, stayed at the Riverwalk Vista for New Years. We couldn’t have asked for a better location. It’s right on the Riverwalk, and we were also able to walk to the Tower of Americas. Located less than a mile from The Pearl. The Inn has the quaint feel of a bed and breakfast, with personable, yet non-intrusive staff. We occasionally interacted with one of the owners, who offered her cell-phone number if any needs arose. The building, common area, and rooms are absolutely lovely. The hardwood floors, wooden doors, ceilings, and decor are unique touches you won’t find in many other hotels. The common area is filled with treats throughout the day, starting with breakfast, then fresh baked cookies and lemonade in the afternoon, and wine in the evening. Having constant access to complimentary hot tea and water was a nice perk as well. We wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else. The quality you’re receiving for the price is beyond compare.

I LOVED this hotel! Here's why: It is PERFECT for tall people!!! At 6'8", I always struggle with hotel showers, but not here! The ceiling is super high, and the shower head can be adjusted to go clear above my head. The building is historic, the windows are huge, and the rooms are super cute! Breakfast and afternoon snack are included. The location! It is right across the street from the River Walk. The Alamo was super close, too. There's no parking provided, but we managed just fine (bear in mind that there's no free parking downtown). We parked in the nearby Riverbend garage for $25 a night. If you can walk a couple more blocks and are okay with surface parking, you might get something cheaper. Overall, one this is one of the best experiences I've had in a hotel. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Loves this hotel. My boyfriend and I stayed here 2 weeks ago for his 21st birthday. The staff was so nice, the room was amazing, although the bathroom was a little small it was still beautiful. The bathroom had a walk in shower, in the shower it had 3 dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. What we really loved was, how in every room they have a journal for the guests to write how their stay was for others to read. Also they had breakfast at 11, then at 3 they set out snickerdoodle cookies and lemonade, and at around 6 or 7 they set out red and white wine. We definitely will be back hopefully soon.

I’m so afraid I’m going to forget to mention all the amazing things about this hotel. First, it was built in the 1830s, so we are talking gorgeous architecture, high ceilings, beautiful wooden floors, huge windows, wonderful old door with real keys, and exposed brick. But they’ve added all the modern things you want. There’s amazing air conditioning (truly cold if you want it), stunning renovated bathrooms, keurigs in room, ice machine, comfortable beds, and community coffee available for free all day. The location is superb. It’s walking distance to everything, including the convention centers. You are right on the river walk, and some rooms have a view of the river. The cleanliness is completely off the charts amazing. I never saw a speck of dust inside. The place is managed, maintained, and cleaned by the sweetest people who would do anything to make your stay great. They go above and beyond. The continental breakfast is nice: fresh cut fruit, boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, juices, and bagels. As mentioned before, my favorite community coffee all day, for free. Because you are downtown there is some noise on the weekend. Nothing I couldn’t sleep through. Weekdays were pretty quiet. I feel very fortunate to have found this hotel and will always stay here when in town!

What a fantastic find, right across from the River Walk and Rivercenter Mall! The rooms are clean and very charming. If you want to be close to everything, without actually having a window seat on the Riverwalk, the Vista fits the bill. I love the lobby, the decor, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The shower was free of mold/mildew and we got hot water almost as soon as we turned on the faucet. The provided lotions and bath and body wash smells great. Only thing some people might miss are the microwave and fridge, as we had none in the room. Can't wait to stay again!

What a gem! From the moment you walk in to this historic inn, you are drawn to it's charm. The staff is phenomenal! Fresh breakfast every morning, with all the extra touches you wont get at the chain hotels. Cookies and fresh lemonade in the afternoon, and wine at 5. Its location is perfect! Just right across from the River Walk. The rooms were huge! Very clean, and plenty of historic Texas charm to boot! We celebrated our 17th wedding anniversary with y'all, and we are so happy we did! Thank you!
