Wonderful location and amazing panoramic sea view. One of the best sunsets in Beirut. Great team all over the place. Front office team lead by a great leader Wael does everything possible to make you comfortable and work on your satisfaction. We had a great time in the resort and it was a perfect getaway. Highly recommended for both families and couples.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment following my recent stay at Riviera Hotel in Beirut, which I booked through your platform. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what was promised. The room was not clean, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable, and the shower was broken. The hotel itself is outdated and poorly maintained. Breakfast was not a buffet as advertised, but rather a few plates placed on the table. The jacuzzi and even some beach chairs required additional payment, which felt very greedy for a hotel of this supposed standard. Staff interactions were cold and unwelcoming, lacking any genuine hospitality. What upset me the most is that the photos and descriptions on Agoda are completely misleading. They paint a picture of a luxurious, comfortable stay—when in reality, it was the opposite. I trusted Agoda to provide accurate information, and I feel let down. This has been one of my worst hotel experiences, and it has severely shaken my trust in your platform. I hope you take this feedback seriously and reconsider your listing of this hotel—or at least ensure that future guests are not misled as I was.

Room - good, with nice balcony|Pool area - good, apart from unacceptable lack of basis English|| Breakfast - an absolute DISGRACE - in any hotel, never mind a s-called 5 star one and I still cannot believe it. You walk into a room that is about 70' long and and there are just empty tables, with a few 'waiters' standing about chatting. I went back to reception, thinking I had clearly made a mistake and it was obvious that they must get this reaction all the time - not a single bit of food is visible and you just get asked: "What would you like?" - followed by a 10 minute wait for pastries and coffee in a room that stinks of tobacco smoke. I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS SITUATION IN 40 YEARS OF TRAVEL - DISGUSTING.|Location - it is NOT the "quick walk" reception say it is to Pigeon Rocks and Hamra - it is at least 30 minutes walking past insane traffic and I had to use taxis after one try, at $10 per trip to and from the centre. I saw superb hotels in Hamra, go there instead.|Language - sorry but if you want to be genuinely 5-star, then learn some basic English!! Very few could communicate beyond Hello, which is a joke in 2025.

The service was extremely poor — staff were inattentive and unprofessional. On top of that, the restroom had a very bad smell, which made the whole experience uncomfortable and unhygienic. Definitely not what I expected. I won’t be returning, and I don’t recommend it unless serious improvements are made.

I would love to recommend riviera hotel for friends and colleagues who love beach and luxury . I had a cute experience there ,whom I like to thank for Mr omar manager at the pool who was very gentle and sweet and Mr hussein who got me my orders at time . And had the pleasure to Meet Kamal who was always on spot to secure everything... regards to all the sweet staff outdoor 🥰

I think one of the best .. we had the chance to try it just before the high season start so prices were very reasonable.. location is super .. room is very good ( not at the sea side , the few ones by the sea side is very expensive but the view worth it) location in the best area for tourists "rawsha". Many cafes are near .. pool is very nice .. no access to the sea for swimming as it's rock .. staff are friendly Didn't try food so I can't review it

I am writing to express my deepest disappointment with this place that is supposed to be a 5 star place but provides -5 star service. They charged 40$ for beach and pool entrance to provide a sun-bed and a towel. When we asked for additional towel, they said it is 5$ extra charge. Showers are outdated, no shampoo or soap, no hot water! Orders from the bar are late although it was a weekday not a weekend! Staff are rude and greedy and have zero customer service skills. You should reassess your situation and make sure you provide the service that customers deserve instead of paying to the bloggers to advertise your below standard service!!

Disappointing Stay – Poor Service, Discrimination, and Not Family-Friendly Our stay at Riviera Hotel Beirut was very disappointing. We booked a Classic Room but were given a smaller Standard Room. Staff gave conflicting explanations, which felt misleading. As a family, we felt clearly unwelcome. Our children were constantly stared at, and we were told several times they were “too loud” – even though they were just walking around or not sitting still. There were no child-friendly facilities at all – not even a small slide, swing, or play area. At the pool, it was obvious that women in burkinis are not welcome – a discriminatory and unacceptable attitude for a hotel that claims to be international. In short: poor service, biased treatment, and definitely not family-friendly. We do not recommend this hotel.
