I am writing to express my deep disappointment following my recent stay at Riviera Hotel in Beirut, which I booked through your platform.
Unfortunately, the experience was far from what was promised. The room was not clean, the mattress was extremely uncomfortable, and the shower was broken. The hotel itself is outdated and poorly maintained.
Breakfast was not a buffet as advertised, but rather a few plates placed on the table. The jacuzzi and even some beach chairs required additional payment, which felt very greedy for a hotel of this supposed standard. Staff interactions were cold and unwelcoming, lacking any genuine hospitality.
What upset me the most is that the photos and descriptions on Agoda are completely misleading. They paint a picture of a luxurious, comfortable stay—when in reality, it was the opposite. I trusted Agoda to provide accurate information, and I feel let down.
This has been one of my worst hotel experiences, and it has severely shaken my trust in your platform. I hope you take this feedback seriously and reconsider your listing of this hotel—or at least ensure that future guests are not misled as I was.
