It was a nice stay at a very lovely and welcoming hostel! The rooms were small, but in there is everything you need- the curtains at the bed provide very much privacy. - perfect for solotravellers as I am. The hostel is in the city center, so you don’t need public transport, you can go everywhere by foot. it was great to stay at this hostel, definitely coming back!

Very nice kitchen/common area and rooftop patio. Our room was nice but had a weird smell during our two night stay. Would recommend bringing earplugs because the rooms aren’t very soundproofed. The bathrooms are pretty small (only 3 toilets and 3 showers per bathroom) but the shower water was warm with good water pressure!

The staff at Rivoli are so kind and helpful! They always had a smile and were so friendly. The hostels is in a great area with the Sao Bento train station being a 5 minute walk.
The rooms were a good size, although it was narrow. For me, the issue I had was the washroom. The washroom and showers had 3 stalls. Personally I felt like the washrooms were grimy and dirty all the time.

I had a nice time staying here. The staff was great and the common areas were really enjoyable. Breakfast was good too. I stayed in the 4 bed all female room and it was more narrow than I expected but still worked out ok with four people in there. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a hostel in Porto!

Amazing hostel, the staff were so friendly and accommodating! There's chances to meet up with other solo travellers which is great. The beds are comfortable and have a privacy curtain which is always a great benefit. The only issue I had was that the bathrooms were mixed gender which I didn't personally enjoy but other than that there were no issues at all. The location is perfect for tourist locations and very close to the metros. In all I would definitely say it is one of my favourite hostels I have stayed at and will definitely be staying again when visiting Porto!

I love this hostel. The staff is super sweet and helpful. The kitchen and living room are super cozy, rooms are nice and clean and I there are available whole day tea/coffee, fruits and cake/bread.
There is a schedule and every night there is a special program..eg. dinner or movie screening. :)
The hostel also has a roof bar with great view.
Next time I go go Porto, I will stay here again for sure. :)

Business keeps taking down my review.
AC restrictions not declared until after booking. "For Environmental Reasons, guests are invited to close the windows when using the Air-conditioner for a more efficient use. The cold mode will be set for 23°C minimum in the summer and the warm mode will be set for 19°C maximum during winter, when requested."
Air conditioning is extremely important to me. I saw the accommodation had AC and didn't think anything of it. After booking, I got an email with the AC restrictions. The bathrooms and showers are unisex which made me uncomfortable to share toilets with women.
