Rixos Almaty

It is very sad that the service in Rixos Almaty is very poor, we rented a conference hall for 1,000,000 tenge and ordered coffee beak and imagine they brought a coffee machine for half an hour for the whole rented day,they say allowed only 30 minutes for coffee time, between we discussed everything with hotel manager before and he didn’t say nothing about 30 minutes for coffee break . We asked 4 times for a trash in the hall , the snacks we paid for couldn’t take to our room after the conference. Water and notepads were also provided to us only for an additional fee. The conference hall is old, the tables are generally wrapped in some kind of black sheet, the rooms in the hotel are also very old, the food is not tasty. If you are looking for conferences hall, my advice is to find something better for that kind of money. Our foreign guests was shocked to see this service in Rixos Almaty. I still hope that Rixos will do renovation and improve the service ,because in another country Rixos it’s top best hotels 🙏🏻

My stay at Rixos Almaty was truly exceptional! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The hotel’s luxurious atmosphere and elegant design made for a relaxing and memorable experience. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in cleanliness and upkeep was outstanding. I particularly enjoyed the spa facilities, which were world-class and provided the perfect escape after a busy day. The dining experience was equally impressive, with a wide variety of delicious dishes to choose from. The staff throughout the hotel were professional, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Rixos Almaty exceeded all my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for luxury and comfort in the heart of Almaty. I can’t wait to return!

My stay at Rixos Almaty in the Deluxe Twin Room with Park View was exceptional. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered a stunning view of the park, which added a peaceful ambiance to my stay. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The hotel staff were highly attentive and friendly, delivering excellent service from check-in to check-out. The hotel’s facilities, including the spa and fitness center, were top-notch and provided a luxurious touch to the experience. The breakfast was also impressive, with a wide array of delicious local and international dishes. Overall, my stay was nothing short of fantastic, and I would highly recommend Rixos Almaty for anyone visiting the city.

This is not a 5 star hotel. The building is beautiful and the rooms are nice, but the service is that of a 3 star hotel and it’s definitely not worth the price. ||Our room lacked a robe on arrival (which we would have been charged for if we had not informed the front desk). The default is also that the refrigerator is locked, which is very strange for this level of hotel. ||The coffee in the room was instant and was not replaced either of the days we were there. ||Breakfast buffet was quite good with a lot of variety. I got a glass of completely flat Prosecco at the lobby bar and when I tried to explain that it was flat and ask for something else, the bartender showed me the date on the bottle (opened 4 days prior) and told me it was fine. I declined to drink it and was not offered the requested refund or a replacement drink. ||We also had to request airport transport twice. My husband requested it earlier in the day and when I checked in to confirm it (since it was for a very early flight),it had never been requested by the guest relations team. ||The location is great and the rooms are fine, but I would stay elsewhere when I return to Almaty. Not worth the money and they don’t seem to care about customer service.

During my recent stay at Rixos Almaty,I had the privilege of interacting with Anara, the hotel manager, who truly went above and beyond to ensure my experience was nothing short of perfect. From the moment I checked in, her genuine warmth and professionalism stood out, but it was her willingness to go the extra mile that made my stay unforgettable. What truly impressed me was her attention to detail. I casually mentioned during our conversation that I was celebrating a special occasion, and to my surprise, I returned to my room to find a handwritten note and a beautifully arranged dessert platter. This thoughtful gesture made me feel valued and appreciated in a way I hadn’t experienced at other hotels. Throughout my stay, I noticed how attentive she was not just to me but to all the guests. She greeted everyone with a smile, remembered names, and offered personalized recommendations for exploring the area. It was clear that her leadership inspired the entire staff to provide exceptional service. I cannot thank Anara enough for her kindness, professionalism, and dedication to making every guest feel special. She is a true asset to the hotel and a shining example of what hospitality should be. I highly recommend Rixos to anyone looking for an outstanding stay.

worst experience at Rixos Almaty... they take undue advantage of situations , have a biast against Indians, impose restrictions and have guidelines that are not of any international standards... while the staff is very polite and helpful but think Indians are only for extracting money ... hotel is old and not upto a 5 star standard

Lovely hotel. Nice live music in the evenings in the lobby. Rooms are nice. Service is good. Breakfast spread is good. Location is good. A twenty minute walk to arbat street and enough restaurants and bars close by- including a park

I recently stayed at the Rixos Hotel in Almaty, expecting a seamless experience from such a renowned brand, but I was disappointed by their handling of the credit card deposit.||Upon check-in, the hotel required a deposit block on my credit card, which was understandable. However, I was surprised to find out that this block cost me an additional €20, even though there were no actual transactions made on the card. This charge was never clearly communicated beforehand, and it felt unreasonable to incur this cost without any explanation or justification.
