Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island

This was our 2nd visit to Rixos Saadiyat, first was November 2024. We really enjoyed our first stay so much that we came back. Was really nice that some of the staff recognised us and the service was excellent from all throughout our stay. Some nice upgrades to the loungers at the pool and the cooler boxes are a great idea. Nice addition to the DJ set up at the beach bar with the mirrored setting. The vibe created at the beach bar is amazing getting really chilled for sunset; however the music set could be changed daily as it gets repetitive, sounds more like a preset playlist rather than a proper DJ set. Evening entertainment is in a great setting in the outdoor area, well organised and the vibe is very chilled, however the bands playing this year were all virtually identical with all playing the same songs, it began to get repetitive. Buffet provided ample choice and had something for everyone. We dined at Aja, Orient, Mermaid and L'Olivio and all were excellent, food was delicious and really good choice on the menus. Staff service at all was first class. Highlights pool bar was excellent, thanks to all the guys who knew exactly what we were drinking and kept us topped up all day, special mention to KB for introducing us to a particular rum cocktail. Bar lounge was excellent with a great selection of drinks and great staff constantly on the go ensuring we were taken care of. Overall great stay, we highly recommend 👌

Working for a premium airline, I stay in many 4 to 5-Star hotels around the world – but Rixos Premium Saadiyat Island is in a class of its own. From the first moment, everything feels elevated: the beautifully designed rooms, the sparkling wine and sweet treats waiting on arrival, and the quiet, perfectly maintained surroundings. What makes this place truly exceptional is the service. The staff are incredibly attentive, warm, and professional – it feels like they anticipate your every wish. The word “no” simply doesn’t exist here. Whether at the pool, the beach, or one of the many restaurants, you’re constantly and discreetly looked after. The food and drinks are of outstanding quality, with an impressive variety and freshness that reflect true 5-star standards. The atmosphere is calm, elegant, and relaxed – ideal for guests who value peace, luxury, and excellent service. At Rixos Saadiyat, I didn’t just feel like a guest – I felt like royalty.

Five-star experience from start to finish! The hotel is a paradise with crystal-clear waters and top-notch facilities. The cleanliness and food quality are 10/10. Every meal was a highlight, offering a fantastic variety of fresh, high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented dishes across all the restaurants. A special shout-out to Nathalia Reyes, who truly elevated our vacation. She was incredibly helpful, kind, and attentive to every small detail. Her exceptional service turned a great holiday into a perfect one. If you’re looking for luxury paired with amazing service, this is the place to be. Highly recommended!

Orient restaurant at Rixos was our favourite of the trip. They are all fabulous, but this one stood out for us. Prateek was our server and was excellent. He knew the menu exceptionally well, recommended drinks to accompany, had plenty of time for us between courses. He made the evening very special. 🙂

The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas and felt like a hidden gem tucked away on the 6th floor. The staff were incredibly friendly, and our waitress, Remy, was especially helpful and knowledgeable. She offered excellent recommendations, from dishes to sauces, and took the time to explain everything in detail. The team was also very accommodating for children, with plenty of options available throughout the meal. A big thank you to Remy and the whole team for such a lovely evening and delicious meal.

We as a family had recently the pleasure of staying at Rixos Saadiyat, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff greeted me with warmth and exceptional hospitality, except one person who was arrogant and not welcoming. The rooms are elegantly designed, offering nice views and excellent ambiance. The amenities are top-notch, with a stunning pool and direct beach access that made relaxation effortless. The dining options are diverse, featuring delicious cuisine from around the world, and the superb service. Overall, Rixos Saadiyat exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for. I wish to say extra thank you to the amazing people who helped us during this stay Latifa and Sofia at client service, Valeria at reception, Ali by the pool, Dishika and Jim Kelly at turquoise restaurant, Yin and Mina Shrestha. Our family recently had a fantastic stay at this resort! The rooms were incredibly spacious, which was a huge plus for us. The room service was prompt and the food was always delicious. What really stood out was the staff; they were so accommodating and went above and beyond to help with any questions or issues we had. It’s a very family and kid-friendly place, and we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The variety of restaurants and food choices was excellent, and we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere throughout the resort. Plus, there’s so much to do just outside the hotel, with great shopping, museums, excursions, and even theme parks nearby. We can’t wait to come back!

Great stay and the hotel is absolutely beautiful but there were a few things I think could be improved. The main buffet restaurant is closed between 4pm and 7pm which is peak time for feeding young children. The other available options in that time don't really work when you have fussy children. The kids food in the restaurant could also be improved. Chips and chicken nuggets everyday is fine if you have children that like chips and chicken nuggets but it would be good to have other child friendly options like fish fingers, plain pasta, peas. The turndown service is also very late for families. We had a knock on our door at 9.30pm but with young children that is far too late. Everything else at the hotel was brilliant and we had a really great week.
