Maharaja Riyasat Indian Restaurant and Bar

​If you are looking for truly authentic Punjabi flavors, this is the place. I recently visited and was blown away by the quality and freshness of the food. ​Chicken Cooker Wala: This was the highlight of the meal. It was incredibly fresh and tasted exactly like a home-cooked meal back in Punjab. I’ve never had it this fresh at a restaurant before. ​Amritsari Fish Pakoda: Perfectly executed—crispy on the outside while remaining soft and flaky inside. The flavors of ajwain (carom seeds), dhania, and garam masala really burst through in every bite. ​Kadhai Paneer: The paneer was "Malai-soft" and literally melted in my mouth. You can tell the masala was freshly ground and not from a pre-made paste. ​Veg Noodles: A great surprise! They were very tasty and loaded with a delicious garlic punch. ​The owner, Pavitar Singh, is also very friendly and makes you feel right at home. Keep up the great work, guys!

We ordered Veg Tandoori Momos, Tawe ka Latpata Paneer, Riyasati Rajmah and Plain Naan. Rajmah was not bad. Paneer and momos were delicious; a must-try! Ambiance is welcoming. The service was good as well. One should definitely try out this restaurant.

Amazing Indian restaurant with rich, authentic flavors and perfectly cooked dishes. The spices were well balanced, the food was fresh, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Special thanks to Manpreet Bali, for the excellent service and warm hospitality. A must-visit spot for anyone who loves great Indian cuisine.

Food was great. Curries had good flavor and taste. I like the concept of letting us taste the curries before they were served on the table. Manpreet served us very well. Had a great, peaceful lunch time .

The server was very sweet. The food was not satisfactory at all. The channa bhathura was very very oily, all you can taste was oil. The channe had no taste. The paranthas were okay but very dry, the yogurt was very salty.

I ordered goat curry for pickup and when I sat down to eat it, there were very less pieces of pf goat and very very oily curry. I had to remove the layer of oil before eating. I paid 18 dollar for this thing. When I called them to tell that the food is not up-to the mark, they were not considerate and just that its our standard. But its not at all worth the price paid! Not at all worth it. Bad experience, would not recommend to anyone!!!

I recently visited Riyasat in Mississauga and had an overall good experience. The restaurant has a nice ambiance with a modern, welcoming feel, and the staff were super friendly and attentive. We ordered the tandoori chicken momos, which were mouthwatering and definitely a standout. The murg makhmali chicken tikka, garlic chicken chowmein, palak lamb, and garlic naan were all tasty, though I did find the dishes a bit on the oily side. Portions were reasonable, and the presentation was appealing. While there is still some room for improvement, the flavors were enjoyable, and the experience was pleasant overall. If you’re looking for solid Indian cuisine in a stylish setting with great service, Riyasat is worth a visit.

Riyasat Indian Restaurant is a fantastic place to experience authentic Punjabi flavors. The ambiance and food are truly amazing! We tried dishes like Paneer Tikka, Soya Chaap, Tandoori Momos, and Bhindi Do Pyaza, and everything was superb. Their Rose Lassi and Butter Naan are a must-try! They also offer No Onion & No Garlic options on request. If you’re a fan of Punjabi cuisine, this place is highly recommended!
