"I lose it when I’m hungry, I’m not one of those people who can skip a meal. My insides will scream. I have to eat. I’m also not one of those people that’s like, “Let’s just get a green shake!” I don’t want meal replacements. I want to sit down and eat. Decide to hit up Rize by the beach. They have drunken noodles that are so good."

The food is so good and fresh.pricing is pretty good. The staff was so enjoyable, they were having fun together which brought me a lot of joy to experience.

Didn’t care for the crispy rice or white fish tempura roll sadly. Only really liked the baked salmon roll, which had more avocado than salmon. If you’re stopping for just a bite, this place is fine.

Minimal detail on decor and maximum detail on food quality and customer service. Everything here is so superb. The simplistic yet elegantly placed decor makes the very small and somewhat cramped dining area cozy and chill. I swear I could sit in here all night and feast away at any one of the amazing dishes served at RIZE. So very impressed with the quality and precise flavor. Don't get me started with the staff. Customer service is better than the food. Thank you.

Google
DOWN GRADE. The sushi used to be so good here. You can tell by the first look that it not the same place it used to be. They use low quality fish compared to few years ago back. The sauce is completely different now. NEVER COMEBACK HERE AGAIN

Google
I was really disappointed with the Pad Thai — the noodles were very greasy, had no flavor, and there was no sauce. I called to explain that the meal was poorly cooked and inedible, but the chef refused to accept my feedback, simply stating that he cooked it and added tofu, completely avoiding my complaint. When I asked for a refund, he insisted I bring the food back. Overall, customer service was poor and dismissive and I threw $20 in the trash

The Chefs here pays attention to the details on all their dishes. Very tasty all around, Foods are fresh and clean. We love the Chef’s selection on Nigiri sushi (Hirame, Uni, Otoro, just to name a few) served on their super cute mini conveyor belt. Definitely will come back again.

Google
Came here during LA restaurant week and ordered the sushi burrito set for lunch! Super delicious and well accompanied by the miso soup and cucumber salad. Presentation is superb as well :) The lychee tea tasted like sticking a straw into a lychee and drinking straight from it - soooo fresh and tasty 10/10 recommend! Definitely a great value and would come back to try other dishes!

This is one of our favorite date night spots. Try the baked salmon roll or jack 20 steps. So delicious! Great Happy Hour specials too! These pictures are from dinning out during covid-19 restrictions!

Yelp
I love this place which offers not just Japanese food but also Thai food, two of my favorite cuisines. Menu is understandably extensive which features all day menu and lunch specials. This is a low key restaurant with chill vibes. Service was fast and friendly. These were what we ordered: Rize special $17 Inside has spicy Blue crab, avocado. Topped with tuna, salmon, tuna, ebi, avocado, green onion. served with eel sauce, sesame dressing and chili sauce. Salmon roll $9 Shrimp Tom yum soup $18 We truly enjoyed everything and would certainly love to visit again to try other items in the menu the next time I'm in the area.

Yelp
The Food is EXCELLENT AND A FIVE = 5+! That is the only reason they have a three (3) rating from me. The restaurant is absolutely filthy and a minus zero in that area. The interior window ledges completed gross. The wall next to the table was nasty dirty. I used my napkin to wipe the ledge next to me and it was black when I was done, and it was a futile attempt to clean it as the ledge was still dirty. I handed the dirty napkin to the server and told her the table and all areas were dirty. I thought she would say she was sorry and would go get a cleaning towel. Instead she responded with a blank look and brought me two napkins (YIKES on the service and not caring about the dirt). The windows inside and out completely dirty. The tables sticky and gross. The floor dirty, a heater covered in dust sitting next to tables. We watched the busser (a nice kid) wipe the tables with a dry cloth just pushing the dripping soy sauce around the table (training and supplies needed). The menu was so nasty, we used Purell on our hands after we touched it. The only reason we stayed is I was a regular customer in the past for 18 years and I knew the food was excellent. I had only had delivery since Covid. I will never go back and I will never order delivery again. If the front facing areas are dirty, just imagine what the back of house looks like. Scary. Clean up please.

Yelp
I ordered delivery here for lunch and was extremely pleased with the quality of the food! I ordered the red curry which had a nice spice level - if you don't like spicy, this will definitely be too spicy for you but if you like a little spice, this plate strikes a good balance. My husband ordered the Thai spicy basil and also enjoyed his meal. Both dishes offer an ample portion and I wasn't able to finish mine. That said, we only ordered one side of rice and it wasn't quite enough to accommodate both our meals so I'd suggest ordering two sides of rice (and probably having some leftover). The price is comparable to other Thai restaurants in the area. We didn't try the sushi but I probably will next time given how good these dishes were.

Yelp
Sooo good. Ended up here by a happy accident after the sushi spot we tried to go to was a bust. We ordered so many different things.. Rize sushi roll Pad thai Thai wings Soup Garlic beef Amazing red curry And more It was all sooo good

Yelp
Ever since my go-to Chinese restaurant, Chang Du, succumbed to COVID I've been looking for good Asian food, preferably Thai as I've become a fan. I found Rize Thai and I'm very glad I did. Delicious food and large portions are what I discovered. Friendly service in a comfortable atmosphere. It's a straight shot down Ocean Park from Mar Vista. Well worth the pleasant drive.

Yelp
Terrible customer service. They yell at you and hang up on you when you call. Terrible business.

Yelp
Out of town family were staying down in Marina Del Rey and were told about this restaurant so 9 of us met there. Between us we ordered mostly sushi and a couple Thai dishes and soup. All and all the food was delicious! The one down side is that with what was ordered, it took forever, probably because there appeared to be only one sushi chef and we probably ordered 12 -14 different meals, and one couple didn't get their food until almost everyone else was finished. Our server was just okay, nothing special. We asked her to give us different bills based upon the different orders by group (2,2,2 & 3) and at the end of the meal we got one large bill, which made us each figure out how much each group owed and then put it all together. With good food we will probably come back when in the area and in the mood for sushi or Thai food, but certainly in a smaller group.

Yelp
Food and service here is stellar! The sushi chef was so kind to let me try a halibut dish that I didn't order, and the sushi is so fresh! Love that it's sushi and thai. I was craving Tom Kha soup and their's is superb!! I will be back!

D D.

Yelp
Disgusting old sushi when ordering delivery. Smell is awful, there is a strange chewy texture to the fish that should not be there, portion is ridiculously small for sashimi. The fish is not fresh and tastes old!

Yelp
Love love love!!! I came here one night to satisfy my sushi craving. This place is very lowkey and the ambiance is very chill and calm. The food was AMAZING! I ordered the sumo roll w/ tuna and the spicy girl with salmon. Both were truly amazing. I also ordered the deep fried rice with spicy salmon (BEYOND AMAZING)! The service was superb. I would highly recommend this place to others. 10/10

Yelp
I've come to this restaurant for years and since pandemic also ordered via UberEats numerous times. Their chirashi bowl was always one of my favorites. Look at it now! Just compare photos from other diners from before and the one I just got now. Chirashi- 6 pieces of fish for $30. I've ordered this dish from them via UberEats numerous times over the years. The quality has gone way down this past year. Presentation aside, just quantity wise is straight up robbery. This is the second time I've ordered it recently and both were the same. Disappointed and they've lost a long time customer.

Yelp
Cute little sushi spot with chill vibes. Came here on a Tuesday night after work. We were greeted upon arrival and there was no one there when we first arrived. Chill ambiance and lots of variety on the menu being that you get to choose from sushi or thai food. I ordered the ultimate dragon roll - shrimp tempura with imitation crab and topped with eel, avocado, masago, green onion, tempura flakes, spicy mayo and eel sauce. The food was fresh and tasty. The service was pretty on point since it wasn't busy, but I did feel rushed while looking on the menu. I guess i cant complain- better that they're attentive than not. It was also odd because they asked if we were paying with cash or card while we were eating - can you just bring us the check please so we can enjoy our meal please lol

Yelp
This is a story of "He wanted sushi, She wanted Thai." I almost cried with joy after finding this place had both!! The pictures will tell the rest of my story. The ambience is pretty chill, I was loving the r&b and bossa nova playlist in the background. The waiters are really sweet and attentive. The only thing I noticed was that it wasn't air conditioned inside. I didn't mind because it reminded me of being in Thailand, although my hubs and his friend would disagree as they continuously wiped their brow sweat. (Update: came here a second time during the LA heatwave and it was nice and cool) Almost convinced it had MSG because I was pretty thirsty after my meal. But wouldn't deter me from going again because of the continuous flavor bombs I had in my mouth the whole time! After all MSG does mean "man, so good!" Just take my word for it :) (update: ok maybe they didn't have msg but even if they did wouldn't be mad at it)

Yelp
Rize is in Santa Monica and not very large, so don't miss it. Parking is on the street and there is a lot of parking. Mind the signs. The service at Rize is wonderful. We love the cooks, sometimes we can see them outside through the window and my grandson gets so excited when one waves to him. The servers are super and know their menu well. They can tell you what is going to be spicy even though you might think it would not be and if you ask for something super spicy, well you asked. Rize does not tend to get too crowded and if there is a wait it is not long. I do not know if they take reservations. Their sushi is great, all of it. We love the shrimp and spicy tuna rolls. Their Thai food is just fantastic. We love all their noodle dishes and they have a great duck roll. They also have some good salads and anything with nuts we order. Just yum. You will love this place so have a great time. They also have a great Happy Hour.

Yelp
I had been wanting to get sushi, but my friends were wanting thai - and lo and behold, we found a place with both! my friend and I ordered the drunken udon, pad thai, and tuna crispy rice to split, and then I ordered a bit of yellowtail sushi to satisfy my sushi craving. everything was delicious with one exception - the pad thai, which was overly sweet, to the point where neither me or my friend really wanted to eat it. fortunately we ordered a lot of food so we still left satisfied. the drunken udon was sooo good, so flavorful and just the right amount of heat. I love regular drunken noodles, and having it with udon instead of flat noodles was such a fun take on this dish! we came here around 8pm on a saturday night and it wasn't busy. our server was prompt and friendly. overall, I would be happy to come here again! we'll just skip the pad thai next time.

Yelp
Excellent! Food was fresh and tasty. Service was exceptional on every level. I brought my little dog Gustavo with me and without even asking they had brought out a bowl that was already marked for dogs water to my little outdoor table. They made great suggestions on the menu and on the sake. I had been living right near here for a while and hadn't tried it yet. Wow exclamation point I'm glad I finally did!

Jessup L.

Yelp
The owner of this restaurant is an amazing dude! The entire staff make it such a friendly neighborhood experience, with outstanding quality of food. I have never had better quality sushi in my life.

Yelp
Ate here for the first time. The restaurant had a cozy tiki environment. Since it was the holidays, they had really nice Christmas decorations. I ordered the lychee ice tea and it was delicious. I'm a huge Lychee fan and it hit the spot. Make sure to mix well or else it will be too sweet. I got the Rize special and it was delicious! Rolls were fresh and good size. The service was quick and they did a great job updating about our food. Would definitely come back again.

Yelp
Delicious the food, clean place. Service is good too. I will come back Authentic Thai

Yelp
Great menu options. Comfortable booths, carry out has also been top-notch. Consistently reliable across many visits and orders. Fresh spices. Fun beverages.

Yelp
We love Rize and it would get 5 stars except that the jasmine rice is $4 for a tiny portion. When we go to Chinois on Main a bigger portion of better rice is $3. Is it possible to either increase the portion or decrease the cost? Otherwise the good is delicious, the sushi is excellent, and they have a fantastic happy hour.

Yelp
Don't waste your time!!! It will be the worst mistake you can make among all the choices in the area.

Yelp
Went here for my friends birthday dinner last Wednesday. Unfortunately the service was so subpar I can't give them five stars. Here are the complaints: this restaurant has maybe 10 tables total, and there were two servers. After being seated for over 15 minutes, we had to get up and request the waitress take our drink order as there was no sign that she was going to. She did, and after bringing the drinks, we ordered. Next problem: she brought the soup course and the first entrée course together. Who does that? Maybe she was just the most inexperienced person ever and never ate in a restaurant before. The coconut soup with chicken and galangal was tasty enough. Following that the dish we had asked them to keep hot, our chicken with bell peppers and basil and white rice was served. After another 5 minutes, they added a noodle dish. Then we waited another 10 minutes at least, and had to ask for our third dish which was crab fried rice, which they seem to have forgotten. Eventually it came out. This was an omelette with crab in it sitting on top of fried rice. It was a generous portion, although I didn't really feel like I could taste the crab. On the menu, it was described as softshell crab, but there were no shells to be found. So the kitchen speed was definitely a problem, too. This restaurant is walking distance from my house and I'm sorry that I won't be returning anytime soon. The cost of the meal was $112 including one bottle of $14 sake, one beer, and one glass of wine at $9. The house Pinot Noir I had was actually quite excellent and that was a good value. They brought us a check without asking if we wanted dessert. As it was a birthday, I probably would have ordered the fried ice cream, but as it was, we left and went to another destination and got a sweet cake.

Yelp
We ordered takeout - the food was very tasty . The service was friendly and professional. We were staying nearby in an Airbnb and this was convenient .
google avatar

Hani A.

Yelp
Normally I wouldn't go a restaurants that servers 2 different cuisines but my friend doesn't eat sushi and raw fish. Went with few sushi rolls but none of them were memorable. The fish didn't taste that fresh either. I did like their Shrimp tempura though.

ROBERT C.

Yelp
Constantly forget to put part of the order in the bag and say they will refund and never do . Obvs this is the last time I will use them , check that you get what you paid for in the bag
google avatar

Yelp
Yummy dinner!!! Super hungry and I only had to wait 20 minutes!! It was perfect and keeps me on my healthy regimen to lose weight and keep my figure. So glad to be a regular here and next time I might add some sushi because I am still hungry
google avatar

Yelp
Most underrated sushi spot in LA!! I've been coming here for years and it's still one of my favorites ever. The Ultimate dragon and white dragon rolls are incredible, and they have amazing happy hour deals. Everyone working here is so sweet - we've gotten a couple dishes on the house over the years. Would absolutely recommend checking it out!

Yelp
My fiance and I came here for Dine LA for dinner last week. We were excited because the three course meal also came with a glass of wine and everything sounded great on the set menu. Everyone who served us was very kind and pleasant however, we feel it was the biggest waste of ~$100 we have spent in a while (which was around what our total was for two of the dine LA dinners with tax and tip). The glass of wine was in a tiny champagne glass, you could easily drink it in three gulps, it was by no means a glass more of a shot. Our appetizers were great, we tried both the lite house and the tom kha surf and turf, very pleased with those (honestly the only part of the meal worth remembering). Our entrees were the problem, the lamb massaman curry (which was misspelled on the dine la website for a bit as lamp mussamun, this should have been our first indication to run) was unexciting and not filling. Also, someone blew up the bathroom and as I walked over to use it I could smell it by the tables. Second hint that we should have ran. Disgusting Our biggest disappointment was our second entree, the east west rolls. The rolls themselves were decently tasty, however, the "seared japanese wagyu beef" on top of the roll was seriously awful. My finance tried one and literally gagged at the table because of the beef. It was so fatty it was inedible, it almost got stuck in your throat on the way down. I was so put off by it that I took it off of every single roll that I had. So basically, the most expensive part of the roll was all thrown in the garbage because it was so repulsive. I kid you not, the whole way home I felt so sick just thinking about the beef and I was scared I would wake up that night with food poisoning. It was basically like a slug on top of the rolls, what a huge waste. We have had seared wagyu beef before and this was nothing even close to that. The dessert was fine, nothing to write home about, we got both the fried ice cream and the thai tea creme brulee. Overall, we were not thrilled with anything, rather disappointed with the portions and the quality of everything we tried that evening, and feel that we wasted our money on a meal that we had to throw away and a meal that made us nauseated. I am sorry to write a bad review, I am. We wanted to like this place, we wanted to enjoy the one night we dine out a week, but instead we felt like we threw money at food that was not worth it whatsoever.

Krysten J.

Yelp
Look, if you're looking for a place that has amazing flavorful food, presented beautifully, super fresh, very nice staff and has a cozy warm ambiance- then yeah, this place is for you. We have been coming here for years and If you don't know what to order, get the crispy rice with spicy tuna and the drunken udon- it's unreal. So flavorful and fresh. But honestly anything is gonna be a good choice. I had the yellow curry years ago and some of their sushi rolls and they were all so so good. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here for happy hour and sat outside. I loved the food! The sushi was so fresh and well prepared. I love the ease of ordering on your phone. The wait staff is fast and no fuss. My favs were the Salmon Gomi sushi, the scallop sushi, and albacore sushi. Happy hour margarita was tasty too. The ginger is extra fresh!!! Will definitely go back.

Yelp
Had this delivered last week with a friend who lives in SM. She's always wanted to try this spot and the menu has something for everyone so I said of course! We shared: - Drunken udon noodles with chicken. This was a play on Pad Kee Mao and it was soooo good with the fatty udon noodles! Perfect amount of spice but super small portion which was lame (about half of the togo tray!) - Shiitake egg rolls ~ perfect! Not greasy and just the right amount of shrooms - Garlic green beans ~ yum but again small portion (literally like enough to cover the bottom with one single layer of green beans lol) - Pink Blossom roll ~ never had mango in any sushi roll until this one! Came with some yummy fusion sauce and surprisingly good and light! All in all, great spot and the delivery was made in advance, of which arrived perfectly on time. This would be a 5 star from me but the small portions brought it to 4 star (and I'm not the only one calling this out!) I don't think we have expectation of overflowing carry out boxes ala Panda Express but for the price and quality it warrants a bit more food!!!!! Literally no leftovers because it wasn't much food even though we had 3 dishes and an appetizer!!!!
google avatar

Terri S.

Yelp
Consistently flavorful, fresh sushi, good portion size and quality ingredients. This is a great neighborhood find and when I have sushi elsewhere (with fish that is simply not as good) I am reminded that RIZE is reliably delicious! We've tried so many of the rolls and nigiri and don't have a favorite, they're all good!
google avatar

Janessa H.

Yelp
I was super excited to try this place, unfortunately I was a tad bit let down. The best thing is that their menu is super diverse! They have chinese, thai, and japanese all in one! I think this place could definitely be a 5-star if they tweaked a few different things and here is my suggestion. Salmango Potion -over dressed with sweet sauce, the mango is already sweet, it would be 100x better with just a little bit of sauce to enhance the flavor, not drenched in it. Duck Bao -2 tiny pieces for $8 or $9 -steep price for what you get -served cold and bao bun not fluffy or appetizing -the peanut sauce was the star in this!! 5/5 Shrimp Pad Thai -$15 -small portion -very sweet, lacked some depth and spices (was not asked if we wanted it spicy or not)? Jacks 20 step roll 5/5 -this roll was perfect!!! no complaints. The service was excellent. Aside from the hiccups I would go back and try select things off the menu. I'm hoping to update my review once I go back and try a few other things.

Yelp
Excellent quality sushi. Ken behind the sushi bar, definitely knows what he's doing. The waitresses were also very charming and accommodating. Nice overall interior design, decorations and music too! I will be returning frequently with friends and family. Hard to find this quality on the west side!
google avatar

Jeff K.

Yelp
I'm updating review with 2 minus stars due to change in standards and service. The outside seating is really cheap and wobbly. The food comes on paper plates and the soup in a paper bowl that really takes the experience away from eating out. The pad Thai was still awesome, but until this is resolved or we are back to normal, In going to have to dine outdoors elsewhere
google avatar

Dee C.

Yelp
My secret favorite spot for sushi on the Westside. Hands down. Super friendly service and food is really really good.

Yelp
Looking for a dinner place for 4. ordering was super easy using a scan code. We stumbled in for happy hour. Discovered there is a happy hour menu which we ordered from. I ordered a passion fruit mojito which was divine! The food was amazing. We had the tom yum soup, eel roll, yellow tail mahi, rainbow roll, lemon hamachi, & salmon carpaccio. The service was very quick. Waitress very friendly. Will definitely return when I am in the area.

Yelp
I had been craving sushi and Thai for the last few days so I found this place on line. It had favorable reviews, prices and was something new for me to try. I'm glad that I found this place. My first impression of this place is that they have great food and ambiance! The vibe is casual but cool. They had hip hop and R&B music playing just loud enough to keep the energy off the restaurant lively but low enough to engage in conversation. With TV's, a bar and higher tables they have good seating options for everyone. Our reservation was for 7PM so we just missed their Happy Hour. They had some great options on both sides of the MENU and the prices were reasonable. One side had Thai dishes, salads and the other had Sushi and drinks if I recall. Every table we saw what appeared to be good dishes and drinks. I ordered a Thai Iced Tea, Yellow Curry Chicken/brown rice and a spicy Tuna Roll. My girlfriend had Fresh Lemonade, Rize Biscuits (Crispy rice with spicy Tuna) , Bre's hand roll. The couple sitting at table next to us had a dessert so we ended up ordering the same because it looked so good we had to try it. It was their Yuzu (Japanese lemon) cheesecake. It was so good and the perfect size to share but not overindulge We both enjoyed our shared selections and were already discussing what we would try upon returning. In my opinion Rize did Rise to the occasion. Whether you want to grab dinner with friends, coworkers for a happy hour, or just planning a date night you won't be disappointed. Their fusion is not confusion it's just good food and service. I wasn't a fan of the lighting in there though. They have Edison bulbs and a few TV's but since the sun sets on the west the daylight wasn't helping too much as it got darker outside. I still would suggest this place though and will definitely look forward to returning.

Ruby S.

Yelp
So yummy! I always enjoy the sushi menu a bit more than the Thai but that's just me!! The crispy rice is some of the best ever. The white dragon roll was a 10/10 and the baked scallop roll! We also had the yellowtail sashimi. This place is a great smaller dinner place with cool vibes. Also Nothing beats the 20% off happy hour. Service was good and food was even better. Def check this place out!

Yelp
The fish was good and fresh and I enjoyed my meal. I tried the angry edamame (very good), miso soup (good), sunrize roll (very good), Maine lobster roll (mostly rice and sauce, little lobster - skip this) and the chirashi bowl (good). Looking back at old photos on their yelp, however, I realize that they really skimped out on my chirashi bowl. Not to mention it was the last item to come out despite being (in my opinion) the easiest entree to prepare compared to a bunch of cooked and raw rolls. Yelp photos show a beautiful dish with 3 pieces each of at least 5 different fish, plus tamago, ginger, cucumbers, etc. My chirashi bowl only had four types of fish and nothing extra. This isn't very honest of them and I'm quite disappointed.

Yelp
Came to RIZE for DineLA 2018 today and loved it. This place features sushi and Thai food -- two of my favorites. And lunch for $15?! Sign me up. You have two courses for lunch. For the first course, pick either Pad Thai with Jumbo Prawns, a pre-set Sushi Burrito, or a Big Daddy Roll. All options come with miso soup. The Sushi Burrito and Big Daddy Roll come with cucumber sunomono salad, which was delicious. For the second course -- dessert -- you can pick between green tea mochi ice cream (two pieces, cut in fourths) and the lychee yuzu ice cream (basically, sorbet). Our group of four opted for one Pad Thai and three Sushi Burritos. We then ordered two of the lychee yuzu and two of the green tea mochi. We added Thai Iced Tea for $3 each, no refills. Boy, what a great meal. Our tummies were filling up by the time we finished the main course, and the dessert ensured we were STUFFED. The portions are a decent size and the food is so fresh. It didn't seem like a lot of food on paper (and not in person), so we had planned on maybe ordering an extra roll or carpaccio of some sort. Good thing we didn't! The group is in agreement -- we enjoyed lunch and we would absolutely come back to RIZE. There's plenty of items we'd like to try, plus there's lunch specials. Reasonable prices, though portions look a bit small. Meter parking (Max 2 hours) right in front, and neighborhood parking behind the restaurant. There's not much else in the area, unfortunately.

Yelp
Came in for a lunch date. We were able to take advantage of the lunch specials (highly recommend) and Monday Happy Hour menu. We ordered... * Fresh roll - from the low carb Monday only HH menu. Basically a spring roll with rice wrap with lettuce. Came as one piece cut in half, served with a peanut sauce. Tasted good but even for HH, it was small and overpriced. Usually for this price, I get double this order and it includes tofu. $6... 2.5 stars * Salmon fried rice - a main dish that includes chunks of salmon in rice. It's a simple dish, but tasty. $15... 3.5 stars * Yellow curry with vegetables - from the lunch menu. Best dish and deal of the bunch. Came out hot and steamy - served with brown rice and edamame. $10... 5 stars Service - our server was really nice, checked in on us often, and didn't rush us to get out. 5 stars Location - surprisingly cute, modern and bright inside. Metered parking on Lincoln in front - may be worth going around the corner for residential parking. Just check the street signs for restrictions. I noticed other customers ordered from the lunch menu and received similarly large and varied dishes. Lunch is the best way to go! I'll come back to try their other items from this menu.

Yelp
Purchased take out from Rize. The food was solid. The wings are really tasty. I don't think they will be my first choice for sushi in the area, but if I want both Thai food and sushi, it is definitely worth a revisit.

Yelp
Some of the dishes are alright but overall there's nothing that really stands out about this restaurant. They do some fusion and a variety of other dishes but I ate here twice and decided Id rather not go back. Many better spots around town.

Yelp
This seems like a good place to go if not everyone eats Thai or eats sushi, but we ended up only trying the sushi. I didn't think the sushi was terrible, more that it wasn't just memorable. I wouldn't come back here unless I happened to be in the area, there's just too many other options to come back again when nothing was mind blowing.

Yelp
One of the best local sushi spots on the west side. Cool atmosphere and friendly people. Love the sweet shrimp & the yellow submarine!!! Yum

Yelp
The food combination seems odd at first but both their Thai and Sushi are extremely high quality. I'm VERY picky about sushi. I usually order the off menu combination sashimi and can truly say it's better quality than Matsuhisa.

Yelp
I put in an order for pickup over the web. Their website emailed me with an estimated time to prep the order. 45 minutes for an order put in at 3:15 pm?!? Really? So the wife went to whole foods first, to get her stuff, as it was going to take them 45 minutes to cut up raw fish off-hours. Whatever. She picked it up and brought it home,a 3-minute drive. The California Roll" I had ordered was actually a Californie HAND-ROLL. Big difference. And the seaweed wrap was soggy, as if the order had been sitting there ready and waiting for 20 minutes. And my scallop sashimi? Just some micro-slices of scallop thrown into a plastic box with an excessive amount of garnishes - radish leaves, and tons of shaved radish to hide the scallop bits. Add to tha that I HAD TO REGISTER AN ACCOUNT with them in order to place a PICKUP ORDER (with iincluded VISA #, etc.). Why do you need my marketing information. I just wanted to eat locally, bypassing the Uber Eats and whatnot surcharges for sketchy deliveries. (Dominos at least comes to your door!) I'm not attaching a pic of the scrub grub they delivered; sorry.
