They will try to scam you on paying there Booking commission. The total price you see on booking is supposed to be the total you have to pay (what you agreed to) but this hotel will try to make you pay there booking.com commission. I had a hour long discussion with them until they agreed to let my pay what I booked for. I was really mad and would just advice to be very careful with this Hotel. AC and facilities where great . But breakfast is very small and only contains juice, coffee a bread and one egg.

We were happy to land in this hotel with it's quiet comfortable room after driving into the busy streets of Tumbes. The room was clean and well decorated, the shower and bathroom was excellent. The staff was very friendly, they even had someone up with us at 4:30AM to do an early opening of the restaurant before we set out on a birding trip. No pool or view but a great clean, comfortable, quiet place to stay.

I was told this is the best hotel in Tumbes. It is in fact clean, has a restaurant, nice staff. But is still an average hotel. "Warm" water, AC, tv and good wifi. Three stars should be OK for a one night sleep. Very noisy and busy area. ||||I had some troubles with the room I got so they quickly assign me a new one. Besides that everything ran smoothly.

The room we had was a little cramped but furnished well. The Hotel is located right by the Plaza de Armas and their parking garage was a couple blocks away. The area is quite busy with traffic so the noise was hard to ignore. The bathroom was updated but small. It was a quick and unexpected overnight stop in Tumbes - the central location was the main benefit.

This is a very noisy hotel. All the rooms have windows onto the interior of the hotel, so you get to listen to everyone climbing the stairs and shouting in the corridors. They hire out the bar for parties and the noise is deafening. The rooms themselves are nice enough but only a 1.5 bed in a double room. The room was not well cleaned and the towels were wet and the bedclothes musty. Breakfast is OK.

I was so grateful to arrive here at 4am after spending hours on a bus from Equador and worse, queing forever and dealing with the antiquated immigration process at the border. ||||They gave me a single room for only 50 soles when normally it costs double. It was at the very top of the building but someone took my suitcase up for me (no lift). The room was spotless, the bed comfortable, sheets clean, shower fabulous. As I was so high there was no traffic noise at all.||||Staff were friendly although said they would book a taxi for the airport and then forgot which was annoying.||||I think this is probably the best deal in central Tumbes. It is right by the Plaza de Armas.||||The mangroves are great to visit. We got in at Puerto 25 (less tourists) and I just loved Puerto Pizzaro, a seaside port full of character, the way all ports in Peru probably once were - the boat tour there is a must particularly the Isla de Aves ( bird island) a tiny island bursting with nesting birds.
