I stayed at Bounce Melbourne for several nights and had a great experience. I first booked a 4-bed dorm for 2 nights, and later moved to a 6-bed female dorm with ensuite bathroom for the rest of my stay. The hostel is in a very strategic location, right in the heart of the CBD, making it super convenient to get around. The price is affordable and well worth it, you get a clean bed, decent service, and a good atmosphere. A special shout-out to Rachel and Danny, who were extremely helpful and kind throughout my stay. Their hospitality really made a difference!Of course, it’s a hostel, so don’t expect 5-star hotel facilities. But if you come with the right mindset, you’ll enjoy your time here

This new hostel is very clean, modern, and comfortable. The location is excellent—close to transport, shops, and attractions, which makes traveling easy. The kitchen is large and well equipped, perfect for cooking and sharing meals. Overall, a convenient and welcoming place that feels like home.

A lovely location perfect for a city escape or staycation. The staff were absolutely fantastic especially Kyle at the front desk. All communal areas were really social and well maintained. 10/10 would definitely recommend this place.

Bounce is in a great location, central to pretty much every thing and is just steps away from the entrance of Flinders Street Station. You can pretty much walk to anywhere from the hostel and there is an abundance of food choices right out side the door. Staff are very friendly on arrival and a lot of seating scattered around the hostel so plenty of opportunities to chat to other travellers. All felt very safe and secure, 24/7 reception and they’ll give you a key card for the different floors, room and bathroom. Just try and not to loose the key card. Bathrooms were good, plenty of showers and sinks to use and not busy, I did find tho that the showers were on the colder side in the morning. Also they don’t provide any shampoo / conditioner, body wash or towels for free which can be a bummer. Beds were great, nice curtains that block the light when the room light is on, pretty much squeak free and plenty of extra space around the room to move and put your things. They have a light and world wide power point in the bed, also a massive storage box too that can be locked. You choose your bed when you get there so unless you’re early, you’ll probably be stuck with the top bunk. There’s not much ventilation in the rooms, in the colder nights it was fine but I don’t think I would like to sleep there in the summer. Plenty of room in the kitchen and lots of places to sit and eat, like a dining room there’s books and games and a good place to chill. Even has some sound free booths if you need to make a call. All around a very good experience, plenty of good people staying here, and the location itself is amazing.

Been staying here for a couple weeks now and it’s been a blast. Beds are comfortable, bathroom and kitchen are kept pretty clean, and the staff is amazing. There are events almost every night which gives plenty of opportunity to meet other travelers! (Shout out to Zoe and Sam for being amazing guides). It’s also centrally located, making it easy to get around. One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at.

I wasn’t expecting to enjoy my time at this hostel so much. One of the best hostels I have been in so far on my travels. I stayed in an 8P dorm and it didn’t feel cramped. The bathrooms were always clean. Also the staff were really nice and cool to chat to, especially Ella, always welcoming and down for a chat. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing location, reasonable facilities- rooms a bit stinky but everything you could need in terms of sockets, lockable cabinet, laundry etc. Awesome underground bar. What makes the place is the staff- Kyle on reception, Rory and Lewis in the bar- great guys. Would stay again.

Went to Melbourne on a solo theatre trip, and the proximity to the theatre district could not be beat. Room was very spacious with aircon (I was in a 6P Female room), and social events were appreciated. The shared bathrooms were always super wet but that's kinda standard hostel stuff- pack thongs. Would really recommend the pay-as-you-like walking tour which was a great intro to Melbourne. The ability to store luggage before check-in was also really helpful.
