Roaring Fork

Beautiful lakeside restaurant and bar with a great happy hour. The restaurant has many tables and booths inside along with a wrap-around bar of stools, but it also has a deck of tables that look out onto the quarry lake, gorgeous sunset dining. Their happy hour includes drink and food discounts with additional wine discounts on Thursday evenings. We enjoyed their frozen margaritas, huckleberry cocktail, cornbread, queso, and big burger. They share several rambling free parking lots with adjacent office buildings.

Made an anniversary reservation, we were seated right on time. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food... Oh my gosh, the FOOD. I had the rotisserie chicken with brussels sprouts and cornbread stuffing, and my partner had the swordfish with zucchini. Both dishes were incredible! For each meal, all of the individual elements were excellent by themselves, but what made the dishes exceptional was the individual parts complemented each other in delicious and sometimes unexpected ways. Our server, William, was very kind and professional, offering cocktail and wine suggestions that paired well with our meals. Our dessert (creme bruleé) was complimentary in celebration of our anniversary, and it, too, was wonderful. For important dates, such as birthdays, anniversaries, holidays (especially around Valentine's Day!), etc., make sure to book well in advance. My partner made a reservation a month prior to our anniversary (Feb. 13), and there were already limited reservation spots available. It is well worth the wait, effort, and price point. You will not regret it! 10/10 would recommend, can't wait for our next dinner service there!

The green chili pork, bacon wrapped stuffed jalapeños and the lamb chop fondue are unbelievably delicious! The duck was cooked to perfection. Beautiful view of Quarry Lake, warm/rustic/elegant interior, and great service. Definitely coming back to try out more dishes.

Absolutely loved our experience! We came here for our 2nd Wedding anniversary as our 1st time here. Food and drinks were great! The Chicken Lfatbread appetizer, Filet, and Pork are all VERY great choices. We had the Huckleberry Cheesecake after and it was good! The place is well kept and welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive. No complaints, highly recommend. It is our new go to for a nice night out. In the words of our server: "I didn't do the writing." 😂

This place is definitely golden for us. Our server was super attentive and made great recommendations. The have a great happy hour menu, but the entrees was well presented and food tastes amazing.

We came for an early dinner as a walk in and no reservation. They seated us without issue and service was impeccable. The food is absolutely delicious and the waterfront lake view is gorgeous! Great for date night! Truffle fries are a MUST!!!!

This is an amazing place. Eat here! Top end food Mellow higher end atmosphere/. $50-60 per person. Definitely worth it The Mac and cheese and the street corn 🌽 are a must Pic is rainbow trout with street corn Bacon wrapped jalapeño

So yummy and delicious 🤤 definitely recommend coming here will definitely come back here a second time in the summer when they lift the pains off the balcony. And our server was very aware and stayed on top of us. Make sure we had everything we needed his name is lance

I recently visited Roaring Fork for a company dinner, and once again, it reminded me why we keep coming back. The service is consistently attentive and welcoming, making the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. The food quality never disappoints. I always order the Rainbow Trout--it's absolutely delicious every time, perfectly prepared and full of flavor. It's become my go-to dish for a reason. And I can't forget the cocktails. Their Paper Plane is my personal favorite, and they also make a fantastic Old Fashioned. Both are well-balanced and crafted with care, which really elevates the dining experience. Overall, Roaring Fork continues to deliver on both food and service, making it a reliable spot for any occasion.

While in town for work I was looking for something close to the hotel for colleagues and I to grab dinner and came across Roaring Fork. Easily booked a reservation and was able to request seating on the patio overlooking the lake! The decor and overall vibe is extremely welcoming and several guests took advantage of the photo ops with the lake background. One colleague had the Huckleberry Bramble and we shared Shrimp Cocktail...the sauce wasn't quite atomic, could use more horseradish (my palate may be spoilt by St Elmo's). Both colleagues ordered the Salmon while I opted for the Roasted Duck. There was a significant period of silence when we first sampled our meals soaking in every flavor. We all devoured and commented on the green beans as well! I tried the Pecan Pie for dessert and it was outstanding and very rich! We had a great meal and will return on a future trip I'm sure!

I love this place. Parking is crazy, but worth it. Dining inside or out. The patio is great with a view of the quarry lake. Drinks are good, food is excellent. We usually go during happy hour for the appetizer specials. The Parmesan truffle fries are so yummy. My friends love the sliders. My fav menu item is their Mac & Cheese. Spicy and delicious! I always get one to go.

After a mislead New Year's Eve hiccup, our friends wanted to try this place for a steak dinner so we followed and did not want to dampen their plans. Reservations were for 6:15, arrived on time and table was ready. We ordered cocktails and appetizers then later ordered our entrees. Menu selections are noted with pics provided. Some guests ordered the cornbread and the lamb fondue. It was ok but felt it was a skimpy portion with 3 very small lamb ribs and a very shallow dish of the fondue cheese, it was served with cubes of bread croutons and butternut squash which helped fulfill the starter. The cornbread was served in their small skillet. Husband enjoyed his Waldorf salad with chicken, 2 others had the filet, pork tenderloin and ribeye steak while I had the duck, that I found more on the rare side with too much chewy skin and maybe 4 slices of duck that was chewy and sinewy. The Brussels were good. Our waitstaff was attentive and friendly. Cocktails were ok but I didn't recall happy prices. The bar was very busy that it was difficult to get their attention. Overall experience was good, I may have made the wrong entree choice. I'm not sure we'd be back and if so, I'd stick with their big ass burger which is what I'm familiar with and know it's good.

Y'all! Let's go ahead and talk about the Roaring Fork saving Valentine's date night. So while I was getting ready for a romantic dinner with my man, He calls me and says that there was an issue with his original plan and we needed to pick a new spot. I would have been happy just staying home and cooking and spending quality time but he wanted to take me to dinner.Ok, sir. So I checked the Open table app for available reservations (I was not very hopeful with it already being 7:30 p.m. on Valentine's Day) and then I noticed that the Roaring Fork had about eight spots left for either in the bar or outside patio dining. I just picked outside for a 9:15 resy and we headed that way. It was a bit chilly out so when we got there to check-in I asked if there was any availability indoors and the hostess was the sweetest, She looked at me and smiled and said, You are in luck because I have one I can give you now In the main dining area. I was beyond happy! The manager even walked us to the table, he handed me a rose and I just kept saying, "thank you so much." We started with a Malbec wine, shrimp cocktail, skillet cornbread and market salad. Everything was absolutely delicious! Our main courses were the roasted chicken and the pork chop. I think that roast a chicken is one of my new favorite dishes of all time! The server team was super attentive, kept water tapped off, food came out on time not on top of each other. Everything was efficient, friendly, well executed, and absolutely delicious! Thank you for saving our Valentine date night! This was my third time at this location, And it will not be my last

I really want to see more from Roaring Fork. I think the way they cooked their meats was absolutely perfect and the portion sizes were huge but a lot of the dishes were lacking depth of flavor. I got the duck breast on brussel sprouts with balsamic glaze. The duck was juicy and cooked exactly how I asked but overall, it didn't wow me. I know Roaring Fork has a big reputation and it didn't live up to that for me food wise. It didn't however for the service which was great because he matched our energy and the ambiance was beautiful and luxurious. I'll definitely come back and try another item to see how this plays out!

This place is a nice romantic place if you're looking for a great quality date. The views are amazing if you're there during sunset. Food is great. Not the biggest menu but it's good. The steak is great. Drinks are good too and service is good. I always think service could be better but it's good.

Roaring Fork is PERFECT for enjoying awesome Happy Hour drinks & food and/or celebrating a special occasion. Roaring Fork does have two locations - one located in downtown Austin and this R.F., located in N. Austin on Stonelake Blvd. I've been to both locations and would recommend both locations but this RF location has the added benefit of having a private parking lot. My most recent visit to RF was on Thursday, 08/07/2025 to celebrate my hubby's 45th birthday & to enjoy Happy Hour...we had such a great experience! Happy Hour is 4pm-6:30pm (bar and lounge area only) & the menu does have plenty of options for both food and drinks ( see pic of HH menu included w/ this review) - I highly recommend the Frozen margarita ($8 HH - does have enough alcohol to make you feel a little bit prettier ;)), the fresh guacamole, and/or the queso con Puerco (portion is enough for 2 ppl) but honestly, you really can't go wrong w/ any of the food options. Since it was my hubby's birthday, he was able to get any dessert free of charge..he got the seasonal dessert (see pic of this chocolate goodness) & I ordered the pecan pie w/ butter pecan ice cream - very tasty! Lastly, I have to give kudos to our awesome waiter that we had during our visit on 08/07/2025. Hope this info helps!

I was invited to a work dinner here and was not disappointed! The appetizers we had (queso, lamb + fondue, and the truffle fries) were all really good. My meal was the ahi tuna and it was equally delicious. I got a frozen marg which was also good (strong!) and helped me cool off on the patio. Service was surprisingly fast and our server was attentive and informative. Parking lot is small so get there a few mins early if possible!

Roaring Fork is one of my favorite spots in Austin. Everything I've tried has been amazing, but I always come back for the lamb fondue--so good. Their steaks are top-notch, and the Lady Bird cocktail is one of my favorites anywhere. I also love the cedar plank salmon! If I'm just there with one other person, I honestly prefer sitting at the bar. The bartender is the best--super friendly and makes you feel right at home. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. Whether it's a date night or just a chill dinner, this place never disappoints.

Food has always been good. The service was good as well. The large openness with the creek behind it is very relaxing.

Great location, nice lake view and pleasant ambiance. Food was good, but not amazingly good, service was top notch. Server Adam was professional and accommodating. For my birthday treat I got a cheesecake, it was a nice touch. Drink menu includes wide variety of cocktails and wines. We were seated on the patio and were able to enjoy some breeze. I would go back for a special occasion again.

The service at Roaring Fork is always wonderful! We came for our anniversary and made a reservation. We were originally seated at a table, but we asked to be moved to a booth and they were happy to accommodate us. Our server was very kind and was attentive to our needs. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup and guacamole as an appetizer. For dinner my husband ordered these spit roasted chicken, and I had the cedar plain salmon. Both dishes were delicious and filling. We also added a side of mashed potatoes, which were fantastic! Because it was our anniversary they gave us a complementary dessert of our choice and we went with the warm apple crisp. It was so freaking good but we were stuffed and couldn't finish it. After dinner our waitress was kind enough to take pictures for us on the balcony. Our experience was a 10/10!

*4:30res on a Thur & were seated immediately (2nd time Ive been here in 2mos; 1 in bar, 1 in dining rm). Apprx 16 persons in dining rm. *Server unsure about off menu specials as chef posts the daily special at 5pm. She probably should have gone ahead and asked as youll need the info for other patrons soon. *Menu is still pretty basic and ltd after the pandemic. *NY strip was cooked Med as requested, however, it had alot of fat/gristle at ends. The cut was closer to a store bought ribeye and honestly the local Brazilian churrascaria steaks are better. *Oscar/Lump crab was pretty minimal, needed another spoonfull. *Front end Mgr came over with the wine bottle; he wasnt interested in small talk at all & could have cared less that we were there. *Elizabeth/server was very friendly and responsive. *Eddie Vs or Flemings will cost a bit more but are worth it.

Came here Saturday night with reservations. The place was hoppin, and it smelled fantastic as we walked in. We sat outside and they had an industrial sized fan providing a breeze. The fan worked because none of us were bitten by squitos.. Our table ordered the rotisserie chicken and the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin. The chicken was fantastic, and even though we would have preferred mashies , the rice was very good as well. My pork tenderloin was a good size but it was lacking in a lot of flavor. It was atop sort polenta which was nice. I think I ordered the wrong entree and will try again at a later date. We did order the corn bread as an appetizer and that was a big disappointment. Way too dry and almost burned on the bottom. The atmosphere was great, and service was outstanding!

If you are looking for an ideal happy hour location, Roaring Fork is the place to be. I met a colleague for happy hour at Roaring Fork. Once you step foot on the property you are immediately transported to a tranquil, inviting environment...almost retreat like. The restaurant emits charm, and warmth. The entry way has huge trees with a semi-shaded walkway and lush greenery. As you walk in you smell a wood-fired aroma. With dim lighting, it immediately creates a romantic atmosphere. Roaring Fork is nestled in an area of Braker Lane and Stone Oak drive. The restaurant is known to be a great steakhouse with a popular bar and lounge with happy hour featured Mon-Fri 4-6:30 pm daily. Rachel, or server, appeared at our booth very quickly as we were seated. She was very attentive and super bubbly as was the gentleman who seated us. We both ordered The Roaring Fork "Big Ass" Burger, which is comprised of poblano pepper, cheddar cheese, applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles and chipotle mayo including Truffle French fries. OMG...they say that we do everything big in Texas. Well...this was a Texas size burger...the meat was literally 3 inches thick. When my meal came, I had to strategize how I was going to eat it because of the large portion. We both ordered our burgers medium well, which made them juicy and so enjoyable to eat. The brioche bun was soft with a hint of sweetness. The bun was perfectly toasted crisp inside while maintaining the softness at the top of the bun. Quite honestly, I could not finish the entire burger. The burger came with truffle fries which were crisp on the outside and soft inside...perfect combination. The only improvement would be to have more long fries v many short ones. Net, net, our mouths were doing the happy dance from such delicious food. Happy hour cocktails are normally $8 with $1 extra for mango or huckleberry swirls. Tonight, all margaritas were $5 base price with $1 Add Ons (our lucky day.) The mango swirl margarita was so refreshing with the perfect combination of margarita base and the mango swirl. The lounge was on and popping. There was a myriad of lounge guests - individuals seemingly on first dates, groups of friends hanging out, co-workers unwinding together and some senior couples intently conversing. We were seated in a booth in the lounge area, which was nice as we could use the happy hour menu. The booth had panels high enough that we could not hear nor see our booth neighbors. Roaring Fork's happy hour is an elevated dining experience. You get the benefits of being in the lounge with the feel of a fine dining setting...best of all worlds. Without at doubt, the food was excellent and totally exceeded our expectations. The Mango margarita was a joy to drink. We will definitely be returning to this Roaring Fork oasis...

We walked in on a busy Saturday to celebrate my husband's birthday and were seated quickly despite the crowd. Once the staff found out it was his birthday, they went above and beyond to make it special. Our server, Amanda, was fantastic--great drink and food recommendations and genuinely attentive service. They even surprised him with a birthday card and complimentary dessert. It was the first time since childhood that a birthday dinner out truly felt meaningful. We'll absolutely be back.

I'm not from Austin, but my dad lives there and I decided to take him out to a nice dinner for his birthday. I found Roaring Fork online and made a reservation for 6 PM on a Saturday. I actually was running a little behind about 10 minutes and I called them and they were so sweet about accommodating me and letting me know that my table would still be available. We got there just about 10 minutes after my original reservation and we were sat down promptly the waitress gave us amazing service The food was amazing and the view from the dining room is beautiful overseen a small lake that we found out was made due to a quarry accident. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting somewhere that was not too expensive but still a wonderful atmosphere and I actually would love to go back here soon.

Fantastic meal and great service too! Elise, our server (see photo) was genuinely friendly, very efficient, and made a really good meal even better. Thanks Elise! Sat outside, nice lake/pond view and a wonderful sunset and shadows on the lake/pond. A truly outstanding (and large) hamburger, with perfectly crunchy bacon and a nice charbroil flavor. French fries were delicious also. My wife enjoyed the burger as well. We had mussels to start, which was a nice portion and extremely tasty with a great broth and nice bread. The house red wine was very good according to my wife and my martini was exceptional, slightly dirty. Wonderful happy hour dining experience. We had not been to this restaurant in a good while and we need to put it on our list to go more frequently. Three cheers to the chef!

Starting with service: we cannot say more great things about the wait staff and managers. We had a billing instance the previous time we went, and called them about it. They promised to make it up to us the next time that we dined there. Managers Ben & Eric not only kept their promise but added so much free stuff that we were embarrassed! Of course, the food is great, which is why go every few months. We particularly like the Cedar plank Salmon with Asian glaze, the Big As Burger with Parmesan Fries, Pork Chop, Roasted Chicken with homemade dressing and Pork Tenderloin. Desserts vary and never disappoint. The Mid Century style building with floor to ceiling windows is so pretty. Love the view of the Stone Canyon Lake.

Incredible happy hour! Our server Brad was great! Very attentive and helpful. I ordered the sliders and truffle fries and both were terrific. Our group also ordered the pork, the queso, and the big ass burger and everything was terrific! Not to mention the waterfront setting just gives a lovely ambiance. Will definitely be back!

Food is great and the vibe is good. Love to bring out of town guests - There's something there for everyone.

Had a managers dinner this evening. Booked for 13 but only 10 ended up being able to make it. Everything was perfect. Great service, great ambiance, and the food was amazing as always !!!

A little chaotic when arriving and waiting for a table. Service is great and fast. Was with a party of 8. The appetizers consisted of GRILLED FOCACCIA which was delicious as was the skillet cornbread. Throughly enjoyed the shrimp ceviche. Most everyone had steaks and loved them. From the filets to porterhouse they were cooked perfectly.....warning there is a thick coating on the steaks and it was new to me. Not like a seasoning but more like a brine or sauce. Sides were asparagus, mashed potatoes, truffle fries and green chili Mac n cheese. We loved them though I wasn't a big fan of the green chili Mac n cheese. A great evening overall.

Mother's Day buffet. Lamb, prime rib, honey chicken, grits, potato casserole, assorted veggies, a very nice salad bar. We sat on the patio under a blue 75° sky. Perfect outdoor dining! We arrived right at noon and were immediately seated. The waiter brought our drinks and we proceeded to the buffet line. The food was delicious. One of the nicer buffets we've experienced. Nice job Roaring Forks!

Amazing. As always. Came here to celebrate my mother's birthday for the second year in a row and we will be back for a third. (Outside of regular attendance) The 22oz Ribeye was impeccable, and getting it 'Oscar Style' is the only way to go. The drinks were all very well made and the appetizers (shrimp cocktail, lamb fondue) were to die for. Thank you Renee at the host stand! Your impeccable Customer Service does not go unnoticed! Do yourself a favor and come here for happy hour or dinner!

We went for happy hour on Sunday. We were pleasantly surprised to find out it's happy hour all day! We were quickly sit down in the bar area and had an amazing wait staff. They also have great seating outside that overlooks the lake but we were also watch wanting to watch the football game. The Frozen Margaritas for happy hour were excellent! They are very thick and very cold so watch out for a brain freeze. The fish taco was excellent and I loved the sauce that came with it. You can't go wrong with the double dip! The green chili pork has a lot of flavor and the pork is nice and tender. We also had a side of fries that we used for the queso instead of the chips: highly recommend! We also ordered the Big Burger but we're too full by the time we got to it. It did look a nice size for the price. For the price, quality of food, and the views, this is a must for happy hour!

Roaring Fork is our favorite Happy Hour place. We go there about once a month. The margaritas are excellent, and the happy hour menu has great choices. The bigass burger is very good, the tacos are good. We always get the guacamole. I love the green chile pork. The servers are always pleasant and attentive. It's nice to sit on the outside patio when it's cool enough.

I was on a work trip and this restaurant was recommended to me to try while I was in town. This place gets busy and reservations are hard to get the day off so you definitely have to plan to go here in advance. We got here and were seated outside on the happy house porch. It had a great view of the river and with the sun setting it is really pretty to be there. The food was awesome, I had no complaints with any of the courses. The steak was cooked perfectly, Queso had a ton of flavor, and the huckleberry cheesecake was absolutely delicious. The service was fine and I thought they did a good job coming by and checking with us without being overbearing. I will definitely be back when I am visiting.

My partner took me here for a special birthday dinner and it was delicious! I had the roast duck and it was perfectly prepared. He opted for steak and he said it was extremely tender and an excellent rare finish. We had the asparagus and sautéed mushrooms for sides. The portions were so big we had leftovers. It's a really nice spot. Unfortunately it was too windy to be able to sit outside. But that's a great option for a nice sunny day. Our server was very attentive and helpful. He topped it off with a beautiful dessert on the house!

This place is pretty stylish.I only ordered an apparel spritz, the bartenders were very friendly and informative about the menu, i'm going to try the steak sliders.They have a pretty good , happy hour menu!!

Food was tasty. Ambiance was noisy. Service was polite but not fast for a large group. So maybe a little too polite? I had the filet mignon, rare, and it was perfect. And huge. Not actually sure it was a filet mignon cut, but who cares, it tasted good. The Caesar salad was extremely garlicky, very classic for a steakhouse. Flourless chocolate cake was ok, too much sugar for me. Nice view out the back patio, and I appreciated the options for mocktail. I had the fake old fashioned and it was lovely. I was here for a work dinner so can't really comment on prices - from what I saw in the menu, it seemed pricey, but the portions were decently large.

I came here for happy hour, which ends at 6:30pm from Sunday-Thursday. The service and atmosphere were great, this place was definitely crowded but the bar had plenty of seats. I rated this place a three for the happy hour food menu. We ordered the chips& guacamole, big burger, truffle fries, sweet and sour cauliflower, and fish tacos. Overall, I just feel that the guacamole and fish tacos needed more seasoning. The guacamole just tasted like smashed avocados and the tacos just needed some freshness/ Mexican flavors. I also wish the cauliflower was fried and battered before being tossed in sauce. The burger and fries were pretty good, I really enjoyed the truffle sauce with fries. I need to try the regular menu here.

Best happy hour in town. We ordered two drinks each, for a party of 4, and 9 to 10 dishes to share. Total was about $60 each person. Great deal and delicious food. The service was decent too with the speed. Favorites were the truffle fries, double dip, filet sliders, and the big ass burger. Sliders were so good we ordered two orders. Nice ambiance: perfect for business casual.

Normally, this is our favorite restaurant for celebrations and special occasions. Tonight, it was a letdown. We came to celebrate Valentines Day. Unfortunately, the service was much worse than normal. Our tab ended up as just $85 because they comped one of our sides (which our server forgot and later brought out) and we didn't get dessert (we ordered it, our server forgot and brought us the check). They also almost brought our salad twice, which probably made our entrees come out later. It was clear that our waiter was having an off day, but every server and host seemed out of it, saying "it's like Valentine's Day 2". I guess they weren't prepared for the demand. Lastly, we noticed that several people were dressed much more casually than normal (sweats, t shirts and jeans). Rethinking this location as my go-to date night spot or recommendation.

Found this gem visiting Austin and wanting happy hour. Great selection. Big ass burger was huge. Steak sliders were awesome. Taco and cornbread was just ok. Pork queso was tasty. Martinis were tasty. AC was out when we were there and was super hot, but I'm sure it will get fixed soon.

Nearly every time we catch a show at the Paramount, we pop in and get the Green Chili Pork in the cast iron bowl... it's just sooooo good! We also love the north location with its quiet environment and great view of the little lake nearby. It's far less crowded than the Downtown location so it's great for an easy going HH with great food. Their burger is excellent too and it can be easily shared.

Tbis place is amazing from the service to the ambience to the food! Absolutely delicious and so fresh. Yum, yum yum!! We'll be back!

We started off with queso and chips which was delicious. The main course of rainbow trout and bacon wrapped pork tenderloin were flavorful, the vegetables were not overcooked. Pecan pie with embedded chocolate chip with a side of ice cream completed the meal beautifully. The waiter was attentive despite being very busy. It was the right amount of service not too much/not too little. The atmosphere was VERY loud. Just sitting across the table from the person I was eating with, I had to yell, so definitely get something to drink to keep your voice.

The smell when you walk in is amazing. Really gets you ready for the delicious food about to be consumed! I got to sit on the patio and look at the lake. Staff are very friendly. I ordered the bacon wrapped pork loin with grits and it was to die for! Also had the huckleberry drink - delicious!

We went for a celebration and something went wrong with our reservation, but the staff was very accommodating. The pork queso was incredible, would recommend, and we really enjoyed the calamari. The shrimp and grits were just okay. The service was also a bit slow. There is a beautiful view and nice seating.

My family and I really enjoyed our time here for dinner. We made an early reservation so the restaurant was rather quiet but dark (we needed to use our phone flashlight to see the menu). The restaurant is gorgeous and has a beautiful outdoor seating area. Our server was very nice and helpful with the menu. She also gave us plenty of time to talk and decide what we wanted. The margaritas were amazing 10/10 and so was the green chili pork with tortillas (I would go just to get that!) 10000/10 The tortilla soup was filling, hot and yummy 9/10. We got a bowl and all 3 shared it. The pork tenderloin was delicious 8/10, we got it with the brussel sprouts (which were too sweet and covered in too much sauce 4/10) The big a** burger was HUGE and juicy 8/10. The fries were hot and good 7/10. My family and I loved our time here and will definitely be back!! Especially for the green chile pork!!!!

I come here whenever I feel fancy? hahaha anyway The food is always warm and delicious, I can seriously recommend anything on the menu but it is up to you to explore. Staff is friendly and always with a smile, which will want to make you come back!

My husband and I were in Austin for the birth of our grandson. We were staying in a hotel and decided we wanted a steak. I searched on Yelp for the best steaks in our area and Roaring Fork showed up. We decided to give it a try and IT WAS AWESOME. We had the bone in ribeye and a salad and it was DELICIOUS! One of the best steaks we have ever had. We also took a Huckleberry Cheesecake back to the hotel for later and is was AMAZING.

First time here. Heard lovely things about it. Very pricy, like Eddie V's or Flemings. Spinach dip was hot and delightfully delicious. Sides of mushrooms can be shared as well as the brussel sprouts. Sirloin cooked to perfection! Very little fat or gristle. Seasoning and meat temperature excellent. However the ribeye was not a "good" ribeye. Lots of it was not edible. The manager made everything right with bringing out a true ribeye and apologized and acknowledged that the cut received was very poor and should have not been used. Ambiance was romantic and would suggest business attire or high end business casual. Great for a date night or special occasion.
