On the Grid : Sunday's Delicatessen

"A 7th Ave mom and pop shop, this deli is the closest to having it all as we can get. Heaping portions of pretty much everything including subs, greek salads, pressed cubans and homemade dressings and bread are just a few of the reasons why you should stop by this small shop. Don’t forget to grab a rewards card on your way out!" - Harbr Co.

What a great experience. Speakeasy atmosphere you enter through a bakery you have to give your password to get in excellent selection of drinks. They have a martini Flight, which I enjoyed the hamburger with the egg and they had a garlic sauce was very good. The French toast as you’ll see the pictures is also wonderful, Derek, our server really brought the experience together. I would ask for him a true gentleman pointing out wonderful entrées. I would give it an A+.

I came here for a birthday brunch on a Sunday. The waitress split up our group of 10 (despite having a reservation for 10) without asking us in advance, which was frustrating for our group. Took a long time to get served and then server forgot multiple dishes for our table. No decent gluten free/dairy free options on the menu. Also.. no windows? So weird. Anyway, wouldn't recommend it.

Google
Weird place. I’ve stopped in a couple times and there’s never anyone there and I mean people working. Another time I stopped in and the door in the back room was cracked. I peeped through it and the lady at the cash register about Bleu a gasket started yelling at me because I peeped through the door to see what was back there and it was another dining room. I don’t get people. I know this is a new world, but if you want customers you have to be nice to them and give good service.

Went here for my birthday weekend and it was the first place we went too. Derrick was our server and he treated us very well. The food was great everything we ordered was delicious. Will definitely come again.

Google
Kale is the queen of professional service working the bar! Trust me- you're missing out big time if you've never been here. The smooth ambiance, trancelike acoustic live music, and flawless service with delicacies is incomparable in ybor and the greater Tampa Bay. Go on a friday eve and become addicted, happily 😊

Google
It’s a very nice dining place, the music is good and I loved our server Brielle she was amazing and very attentive. Would 100% recommend

Google
It was probably my fault but I went there for coffee and it was THE ABSOLUTE WORST. $6.50 down the drain though that’s not much - it’s the principle.. you go and give a place your business and the outcome is disappointment. Shame.

Yelp
If you're on the hunt for an unbeatable combination of delicious food and lively vibes, look no further than 7th and Grove. This hidden gem in Ybor has consistently delivered an experience that never misses the mark. Let me start by raving about the Loaded Nolia Clap Gumbo--a culinary masterpiece that left me wishing for an instant replay. The flavors, the textures, everything about it was spot-on. If I could have another bowl right in front of me, I wouldn't hesitate for a second. Contrary to the misconception that Ybor is exclusively for clubbing, 7th and Grove effortlessly bridges the gap, offering a perfect blend of nightlife and a cozy spot to enjoy drinks or a meal with friends or loved ones. It's a testament to their ability to create an atmosphere that caters to diverse preferences. Whether you're in the mood for a night out on the town or a laid-back gathering, this spot has you covered. The ambiance strikes the ideal balance, providing just the right amount of energy to enhance your experience without overpowering the opportunity to savor some fantastic food and drinks. In a city that boasts a variety of options, 7th and Grove stands out as a must-visit destination, consistently delivering on both the culinary and social fronts. If you haven't experienced it yet, I highly recommend making your way to this spot for a memorable night filled with good eats and great vibes.

Yelp
Came to 7th + Grove to watch the Davis vs. Martin fight. PROS: DJ was . Food was delicious and came out HOTTTT. Get the wings. You won't regret it. The Gouda grits were really good too and came out steaming. Our server was super sweet and attentive. CONS: Many of the items on their menu was not available. But probably the biggest disappointment of the evening was that the DJ did NOT turn off the music once the main event came on. Personally, I don't mind music jamming during the undercards, but once the main event starts, I prefer to hear the whole event. From the entrance of each fighter to the fight itself! To hear every punch and commentary is part of the whole experience watching . Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy the fight as much as I would've liked to due to the music blasting the entire time. I wouldn't recommend watching fights here.

Yelp
The food was phenomenal. So good was the Cubano, after eating & filled, got an extra Cubano to go. Service was just tolerable. Understanding, it appeared there may have been some training going on as a team of two came to take the order. After that and besides bringing our food to table, we had to flag down server(s). Not impressed with lack of service, especially since the dining room was very slow. Found out after eating, possible reason for lacking service. Bill came to our table of two with an automatic 20% tip added into bill...regardless of the service and including the takeout portion. When the waitress was asked about the added gratuity she replied "That's the way we do it in Florida!". The attitude given by service staff was not good. As usually we are generous tippers, it wasn't much of an issue. The larger issue was the bad service. My dining mate who was taking care of check was a bit confused and asked "what do I write into the empty tip slot of check?" And I said "you write zero" ...even tho the check clearly stated "recommended additional tip" listed below signature line of 3%, 6%, 9% etc. BTW, "it's" not how it it is always done in Florida as, the next day at the more well known restaurant a block away, mandatory gratuity was NOT added in. They got closer to 25% gratuity. Sadly, Only when this restaurant takes away the mandatory gratuity do I see service improving.

Yelp
Ambiance: 7.1/10 Service: 8.1/10 Food: 7.4/10 The brunch Buffet is not the typical. There are only 9 LIMITED choices to choose from & bottomless mimosas for $39. DO NOT BRING KIDS. More for adults.

Yelp
We visited Tampa for a day trip. Our friends recommended 7th +Grove. Upon arrival we noticed a wait outside. The staff accommodated our party of 10 within about 10 mins. I was super impressed. We decided to eat on the side that does not have the buffet. The buffet said is upstairs and downstairs and is TURNT! The food was amazing. I opted for the catfish and grits while my BF got the Salmon and grits! It comes with okra and collard greens which we decided against. Let me tell you, I can't wait to go back. The food was made by somebody ancestors in the bayou! The fish was cooked to perfection. The vibe was good and our waitress was amazing. I will definitely be back when in Tampa.

Yelp
I had the BEST time at 7th and Grove. I went on a random Saturday thinking it would be super crowded. It wasn't (probably due to rain), but it was an overall positive experience. I sat at the bar and Jamila was my server (she was super nice and attentive)! The chefs also talked to me, making me feel welcomed and appreciated. Definitely one of the best black owned businesses I've ever visited!

Yelp
I came here for dinner with a large group. Our experience had a bit of a rough start, but overall we enjoyed our meal and had a good time! We had made reservations in advance for a weeknight dinner. When we arrived, they had to spilt up our group. It was a bit frustrating because we had made the reservation so that we could all sit together, but the staff was apologetic for the mistake. The service was slow for the first portion of our meal, but they ended up switching our waiter and the service was much better for the rest of the experience. What really redeemed the experience for us was the great food! The deviled egg with fried shrimp appetizer was great! For the meal, I ordered the That's My Juvie and added the oxtail. The oxtail itself was delicious! The oxtail meat was super tender and juicy! I really enjoyed my meal.

Yelp
I have attended the day party and brunch that is held at 7th + Groove each Sunday. While you are bound to have a fabulous time at either event this review will be focused on the brunch. My sister and I arrived at the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon at around 2:00 PM. While the restaurant does not accept call ahead reservations. Once you arrive, the hostess does log your name for tracking purposes. Parties are announced as tables become available. Because there are no buzzers or pagers this means that you will need to stay fairly close to the front door so that you'll be able to hear when your name is announced. Unfortunately, there isn't a lot of available seating so you may have to stand for a bit. On this day we waited for about 35 minutes until our names were called. Once inside, the restaurant is decorated beautifully! It is adorn with lots of colorful flowers, hand painted pictures, and murals. Everyone on the staff was friendly from the security to the hostess to the waitress. After reviewing the menu, I selected the Rock the Boat entree($20) which consisted of fried catfish, braised collard greens, gouda grits, and fried okra. While my sister went with the Other Side of the Game entree ($39) which contained braised oxtails, cornbread, and collards on gouda cheese grits. And we each got a side order of macaroni and cheese ($5). GOOD LAWD, not only was the food beautiful but it was delicious!! The oxtails were meaty and seasoned to perfection. And the catfish was beyond words. If I didn't know any better I would think this was a homecooked meal. It was the best food that I've had at a restaurant. Everyone should experience this level of soul food. Towards the end of our meal the wait staff ran out of to go boxes. Which was unfortunate however, a friendly staff member was able to locate two of the last boxes for my sister and I. Let me tell you, I would have been beyond mad if I had to leave my food. 7th + Groove is a must try for a good time and great soul food!

Yelp
This place is definitely worth trying out. The lounge side is really nice and the DJ is great. It's spacious and has a grown folks vibe to it. The food is fantastic yeahhhhh. The prices for food and drinks are ummm somewhat pricey but it's still good.

Yelp
When this restaurant first opened, it had the best food in Tampa. I still think it's some delicious and creative bites like the Soul Food Eggroll and innovative drinks. It sets the vibe for all of 7th Avenue and the rest of Ybor City. The gorgeous staff aim for a southern hospitality that makes most feel right at home.

Yelp
I visited this location on a Wednesday prior to my cruise leaving from Tampa! I personally picked this restaurant after seeing it on tiktok and finding it to be the best priced happy hour and only 7 minutes from our hotel in Downtown, Tampa and I left extremely disappointed. My friend and I were the first to arrive out of our group of 4, once we walked in, a gentleman walked up to us (the manager), he explained to us that it wasn't "technically" happy hour on "this side of the restaurant" because they were hosting an event on the happy hour side. We told him we were prepared to leave as we were only visiting because of the $7 happy hour menu. He told us to stay and he would take care of it when it came time for the bill. My friend and I waited a few minutes to order until my other two friends arrived. Once they did we all took turns ordering 2 drinks each and 2 apps each, all off the $7 happy hour menu we scanned from the menu on the table. 4 ladies and 4 $7 menu items each. We were expecting to receive a bill of around $130 before gratuity. To our surprise, our bill was $271?! Of course, I explain to the server what we were told, even though this should have been communicated prior between the manager and his staff! She leaves to go talk to him and comes back with a new bill of $234. At this point, we request the manager to come speak to us directly. He then started saying how the dining room doesn't have happy hour (even though he said he would handle it), and that we were served "full sized" plates not small bites (this was never mentioned before the bill). So, after much back and forth of telling him we all felt finessed because we were from out of town, and agreeing to pay more for 2 of the wing apps we received because we got 6 wings on each plate instead of 4, we were able to get the bill down to $200 with tax and gratuity. I hate to leave such a lengthy review for a black owned business but I truly believe reviews will lead to educating, increased training, and fixing technical issues. Overall 5/10. We all really enjoyed our drinks, the wings, catfish bites, and egg rolls.

Yelp
Stopped in on my girls trip to Tampa. 7th & Grove was a vibe. R&B music, good food and fun servers. The server gave us a tour of the full facility...they have a sit down restaurant that's quiet. A lounge with food and hookah then there is. Speakeasy in the building next door that was pretty dope..sexier vibe.

Yelp
* Taps Mic* Is this thing on? Cause I have a few things to s I had an absolutely phenomenal experience at 7th + Grove Southern Restaurant in Tampa, Florida. I found out about this place because it was conveniently located in Ybor + people had raved about it on TikTok. So I knew that I had to stop by. When I called on the phone to inquire about whether or not they had vegan options. They let me know that they had a gumbo that everyone loved and a veggie burger. I confirmed that they were open and let them know that I was in route. While I was skeptical about trying the gumbo (as I know that sometimes it can be a "hit-or-miss") I was excited to try both of these items. To my surprise when I got to the restaraunt they let me know that the vegan burger is only offered for brunch. Luckily enough for me the gumbo did not dissappoint. The food was not only incredibly flavorful but also catered to a variety of dietary preferences. I particularly enjoyed the delicious vegan gumbo, which was bursting with rich and savory flavors. The restaurant's commitment to offering such delectable vegan options was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was impeccable. I can't wait to return and explore more of their Southern-inspired cuisine The highlight of it all was that the person who I spoke with on the phone who unintentionally misinformed me had the chef prepare the vegan burger for me. The drinks were good and strong. The vegan burger was pretty good. The music vibes were there. Even though the place was packed I felt that I was cared for with the utmost care. I think that adding gratuity to a check with only a party of two is just a bit tacky. I am really keen on tipping so I don't have a major complaint but with prices already being a bit on the steeper side I would suggest allowing patrons to have a bit of autonomy on what they feel is an adequate tip amount.

Yelp
I have been to 7th + Grove once for brunch and once for lunch. This past visit, I was there for brunch with my family. I had called to make reservations but was directed to text a number to do so. I had texted the reservation line and was in contact with someone named Natasha over a three day period. She was very slow to respond and also initially gave me the wrong information to book brunch reservations for a Saturday. She did apologize but ended up never making my reservation for Saturday which caused an issue when my family and I arrived. The manager had to get involved in order to "override" the lack of a reservation. Their reservation system is terrible. Outside of that, the establishment is beautifully decorated and very nice. The manager, Jarvis, came by twice and ensured that our food and visit was going well. I ordered the chicken tenders and French toast which was pretty good. Everyone enjoyed their food. Also, it was a very nice touch that they had a photographer come around to take pictures of the group. Towards the end of the meal, the photographer came back and offered us hard copies ($20 each) including a frame which turned out very nice! We were so able to get digital copies to share with each other.

Yelp
Food is great! Atmosphere is a whole vibe! The bartenders & waitresses are friendly. The music was great! We ate on the restaraunt side & then went to the lounge/club side and chilled for a few. The DJ played younger music but the crowd was mature. The bathroom attendant was super friendly & helpful.

Yelp
Definitely pleasantly surprised by the combination of catfish and grits on a bed of collards. Great vibe and service.

Yelp
Issa Vibe for sure!!!! Went here for a Bachelorette Dinner with a group of 10 and EVERYONE was happy. We went on a Friday night and began with dinner. The DJ was playing the r& b hits which had us in a great mood. I love that their menu is dedicated to hip hop & r&b and have thr unique names. Our waiter was SUPER nice, Knowledgeable and made it a seamless process with a group of so many women. The drinks flowing around the table was Ari Lennox which was highly recommended. The food for the tables started with the "Get your MF Roll On" & those fried green tomatoes Nom Nom. Them Oxtails was hitting! The cat fish, the salmon, the lamb chops...E V E R Y T H I N G. There's a 2 Credit Card Max so know who you're going with so yall won't have any issues lol. But overall Great dinner! We went to the lounge/club side after dinner and got a VIP section and partied the rest of the night away. Great Experience.

Yelp
Went there for a Beyonce event that I saw on their Instagram. I wish there was a better turn out but the chicken wings and fried shrimp I had were very good. It took a little while to get the bartenders attention to order drinks. Overall the vibe was chill the DJ played good music would love to come back for their weekend brunches.

Yelp
I visited seventh in Grove on a Saturday for brunch with a friend. We had a reservation which cost $15 a person. Kind of annoying... They have an excellent menu for brunch. But pricy! There were so many items that I wanted to try, but I landed on the catfish and grits, which was phenomenal. They also do two for one mimosas for eight dollars. The bunch is a bit pricey, not sure I understand how they substantiate these prices so I won't go frequently. On the lobby side of the restaurant, they have a breakfast buffet which includes crab legs. I definitely want to go back and try the buffet since all you can eat crab legs is a culinary weakness of mine. Service was fantastic!

Yelp
My bf and I happened to stumble in this place our weekend here in ybor city last year and when I tell u I searched for this place so bad to tell my friends about it, The food was so good here... I had the everyday people & when I tell you them okras had me inna choke hold. Man everything was spot on will be back!!!!

Yelp
We went here for brunch and the food was really good. The entrees come stacked so that was interesting but delicious. I had the shrimp and grits with MD crab cake and being from Maryland I typically will pass but I was curious. The did not disappoint t. Crab cake was very tasty and cooked well. My husband had the fried chicken tenders with potatoes, eggs and gravy. Being that he is a super picky eater i was surprised that he enjoyed his entree. The ambiance is really cute and they play good R&B music. This is definitely a spot you want to check out! Did I mention our server Zoe was great!

Yelp
Food and service always great when we stop through. We've been a couple of times when they turn it into a club/lounge. Fun times! Love this and the speakeasy next door too!

Yelp
One of my all time favorite restaurants, I have never had a bad meal here! This place seriously has F L A V O R The atmosphere is like no other, and it's nothing but good vibes, good music, and even better food! I ordered a Beyoncé (Henny and Champagne), and loved it! We always start with a cry me a River (fried catfish and cornbread), which was extremely flavorful and fresh. Honestly the best catfish I have EVER had! They recently added lamb chops to the menu, so I just had to try them- and they did not disappoint! I always have the hardest time ordering here, because literally everything is incredible. My boyfriend ordered the rock the boat (catfish and grits) and friend ordered the vegan gumbo, and they were both delicious!!! The gumbo had the perfect spice level, and put a whole new twist on vegan food Cannot rave enough about 7th and Grove
google avatar

Yelp
Ambience: music is LOUD so if you're easily overstimulated, this is not the place for you Food: I ordered the Other Side of the Game with a side of fried salmon. Everything was amazing! Service: I never saw any of the servers smile. Our server didn't introduce herself to us. For a place that gives a 90-minute table limit, they move very slow. Overall Experience : 4.5/10 Overall Food : 8.5/10

Yelp
My family and I were in Tampa the day/night before our cruise and I am so happy we stumbled across 7th+Grove... The "vibe" was fantastic, the staff friendly and very professional; however, the best things that took our experience over the top was Coco (our server) and the food!! Let me tell ya, Coco is one in a million. She was extremely attentive, personable, professional and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. Well, she did the damn thang and more. I wish all of my customer service interactions were like the one we experienced last night. Sending a great big KUDOS to Coco and the chef(s)! You guys are the BEST!! When I return to Tampa you can best believe I'll be paying you a visit

Yelp
Our family came down from Boston to visit. We were really glad we selected 7th and grove as our place to dine while they were here. (So we live on the east coast cocoa beach side) we have yet to find an establishment like this one, on the east. So anyway; service: our server was extremely knowable and knew the menu well. It's loud and busy however they play R&b on the restaurant side which is safe and perfect to bring the babies or your mother to. My niece is 10 and my daughter is 21 months for age reference. Now the food, everything that touched the table from our drinks to our food . We ordered the Meg the stallion and the Doja cat. Meg was spicy and the Doja was watermelon sweet. I personally liked the Doja better. I had the oxtail dinner (rude boi) I subbed my mash for grits and it was delicious. I ordered lemon pepper deviled eggs for the table and those were also really good. My spouse ordered chicken thighs with Mac and collards, now for one who doesn't eat collard greens he loved his meal. My in laws as well. Vibes 10/10 food 10/10. I would say park directly behind the lounge (you will have to pay to park), have a reservation, and come on an empty stomach ...also checks include a gratuity charge of 20% of the entire bill.

Yelp
Listen! 7th + Grove weekend brunch is a must! OMG the vibe was 10 out of 10. My family and I squeezed in brunch before catching a flight out of Tampa. The process for making a reservation was a bit sketch and done via text. We requested the reservation but did not get a confirmation and assumed our reservation was made. We got to the restaurant before it opened so that we could be seated as quickly as possible in order to make sure we did not miss our flight. We were told we did not have a reservation. Luckily we were able to pull up the back and forth texts and the restaurant was able to accommodate us. The restaurant manager, Jarvis was very kind. He checked on us several times to make sure we were get great service. The food was sooo good! I enjoyed the catfish and grits. Everyone in my party was very happy with the food, ambience and hospitality!

Yelp
All I have to say is this. I enjoyed my food overall (vegan burger, simple to do and a great BBQ sauce!) and would love to go back, but I had one of the worst service experiences in my life here. I will never go back for that reason alone, and my entire party of 6 people felt that way. It took over 3 hours to complete our time here, and the place was not busy when we arrived on a weekend at 2:30 PM. We went 40+ minutes without our server checking on us, bringing us water, and updating our order (we didn't even order drinks until nearly 1.5 hrs in because we could not find our waiter for the longest time). When we would catch the attention of other wait staff, they would say that they would try to find our waiter and then never would come back. We didn't even spend enough time with the staff to be rude/unkind, so that wasn't a factor. We thought they quit mid-shift because we were thinking there's no way they haven't come back around. Granted, it's been a minute since I was here and service could have improved. If someone wanted to do a pickup order, I'd think about it. But the service was so bad that I cannot bring myself to go back and be waited on again.

Yelp
Best restaurant and lounge I've been to in the area so far . We weren't really hungry so we ordered chicken wings and French toast . Which both were amazing ! The vibe is what sold me to this place . The music the art the seating and colors . Job well done to the interior decorator . HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR BRUNCH

Yelp
Food was delicious! Every item purchased was definitely worth it. The prices are very reasonable as well. However, the service was very slow and uncertain as to why considering the restaurant was not busy, hence the 3 stars. Would recommend but make sure you're not on a time crunch. Ambiance was cute and loved the open concept.

Yelp
We went on a Saturday night with my bestie to support black business in our city .... We decided to sit outside for the view and since the weather was great why not?! The service was ok; our waiter was exceptional but the food isn't. We ordered catfish nuggets and brown sugar. The fish nuggets, fries, and muffin were oily and dry not appetizing at all ‍.... Our order took more than an hour and a half. No solid apology or anything.... It wasn't packed with customers but I think because one kitchen serving 3 spots is heavy. I won't return but I wish them all the best.

Yelp
After last minute plans were made, some girlfriends and I came here for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. To say we chose the right place isn't enough to let everyone know how phenomenal this place is. Ronnie, I believe that was his name, took care of us. He answer all of our questions, seeing as this was our visit, and made some great suggestions for us as well. Our orders arrived and OMGOODNESS!!! We were delightfully stunned quite for a good five minutes enjoying our food. There was a DJ and he kept the mood fun throughout our experience. Also, the place was beautifully set up and designed. It had a homey, sunroom feel that was warm and inviting.

Yelp
The food was really good. I had The Benjamin during their brunch with The Weeknd drink. The grits were cooked perfectly, and the crab cake was very meaty. There was a fun drag show during the brunch, but it started an hour later than expected. One thing I didn't expect was that they start a 1.5 hour time limit once you are seated that does not restart if additional members of your party show up late. If you plan to go with a large party, just make sure everyone is there on time. Nevertheless, I will definitely be back!
google avatar

Vivian N.

Yelp
Fabulous spot ! That OX tail & grits is a MUST .... Love the vibes but ALL the food was spot on. Favorite was obviously the "Other Side of the Game" ... definitely highly recommend... noise level HIGH - not kid friendly... leave those kids at home yo ! Time to chill

Yelp
I mean, I guess it's nice for Tampa. Definitely not what I'm used to. My friend and I came on a Friday night for afro beats & they didn't play any of the good Afro beats songs. The DJ also kept trying to scratch & cut up the songs...lol just no. I'm guessing this isn't a place people come on Friday nights either because there was barely anyone there. I also don't understand the cover fee they charge. The DMV would never. The food was ok but very salty.

Yelp
Some friends and I were told this place is really good for partying and weekend brunch but that was a lie. We went on Saturday, a late night and the music was blah, it was packed but there was only standing room and staff was all over the place. I ordered wings and fries & my friend ordered the catfish nuggets. She liked her food. The wings were good but the fries were cold. Our waitress was nice but not attentive to our needs, so we left.

Yelp
My husband and I took a walk in ybor city on Thursday for an early dinner. He had heard about 7th & Grove and the menu looked amazing with great reviews. First we loved it was big and had two sides one for a lounge with more of an upbeat hang out area, with great ambiance of sofas and relaxing chairs/tables. The dining area through a connected door also had such a great ybor city art work and a nice clean modern decor. Now to the food, it was amazing soul food with a brilliant twist adding elegance to the presentation and flavor to each dish. The get your mf'n roll on egg rolls are unique and brilliant egg rolls with collard greens, Mac& cheese with jerk chicken!!! Amazing! Next up the flight of devil eggs, 5 halves with assortment of okra, shrimp, fried chicken, sausage and bacon. I love deviled eggs and these I'd come back from. We had the assortment and enjoyed them all. The main courses were just as good with fried chicken thighs, lightly and flavorfully fried. My husband the fried catfish with linguini and greens. All I can say is O eat put a lot and often don't think I need to go back, but i think about my next to 7th and grove! Try this amazing restaurant, the service was great from the bar team in the lounge to Jessica who was our dinner server. Congratulations to an amazing restaurant. Please support this local business and try this location I want to be able to return many more times.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite places in Tampa. It's located in the popular Ybor area with decent priced parking behind the restaurant. The food and yummy and the vibes are great. The service could be faster, but usually they're cool once they finally deliver. The salmon bites and fried shrimp are my fav, the collard greens are good too. Depending on the bartender the drinks are strong. I go regularly for all types of occasions; brunch, parties, etc. it's always a vibe. The included gratuity is annoying though.

Yelp
Our Uber driver recommended we go to 7th and Grove!! When we arrived the line was out of the door but we realized there's 2 sides to the restaurant..... a sit down dining experience and a lounge dining experience! We chose the lounge side!! The vibe was electric!! The food was delicious!! The DJ didn't miss!! Definitely a place you want to visit while in Tampa!!

Yelp
My partner and I came and enjoyed our meal, although the dishes came out about ~10 minutes apart. While we found the menu items to be a bit overpriced (eg: $9 eggs?! Are they flown from France?!) we love supporting black businesses when we travel. My biggest criticism is their sketchy practice around the bill. They do not give you a paper receipt. The waitress stands there and quickly scrolls through the receipt but skips/fails to mention 20% auto-gratuity. We were surprised when she stated the two entrees came out to $100 but we weren't ever able to look at the receipt. They say it's sent to your phone (but 20 mins after leaving we still haven't received it). So since she didn't tell us about the auto-gratuity and we did not receive a paper receipt for us to look at - we paid another 20% tip totalling her at a 40% tip....the practice of not giving your customers a paper receipt ANDDDD not requiring the servers to disclose is sketchy at best. In my home state, this is actually illegal but Florida seems to be the Wild West. Wouldn't recommend.

Yelp
Jessica and Cody were the best bartenders 2weeks ago. Everything was on the money!!! Such a great atmosphere. Beautiful spot. Today we sat for the drag show. Good times!! I will definitely be back on my next trip to Tampa! My fav was the garlic parm wings and fries. I had that later on during the day. After brunch was over. We sipped on drinks that were made to perfection. I also indulged in yelp review yeah I gotta keep my points. Yeah just when you just comment on like you've gone to eat.

Yelp
Got takeout. Short ribs were delicious also got bread pudding that was very good. Was a meal that did leave me needing some water though, very salty after the fact (not going down at least). Will eat here again for sure

Yelp
I had a great time at 7th and Grove! I went to this restaurant for my birthday to have brunch (not the buffet option, which is on the 'lounge' side of the restaurant). I LOVED my oxtails meal and the bottomless mimosas stayed flowing. My fiancé also enjoyed his food. The food was plentiful (probably the largest oxtails I've ever had at a restaurant)! Also, I had enough food for lunch and leftovers for dinner. The DJ provided great music, and we were seated right at 12:30pm via our online reservations. I was concerned about service due to the lack luster reviews. They must have taken heed to customers' concerns, because my service was exceptional. The manager checked on us, our waiter was kind, attentive and kept the drinks flowing for my bday. I wish they would find a way to space out the tables more, and I wasn't a fan of the fact that they stopped the music 30 minutes before the end of brunch (it begins to close around 3:30pm); this seems a bit unfair for people who were still being seated around 3 pm. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant. Make reservations, arrive early, and have a great time :)

Yelp
I visited this establishment for the first time in April of 2022 on a Tuesday evening for a meetup event. I had an enjoyable experience. I unfortunately did not take any photos. The location is awesome! The restaurant is located in nice and lively part of Ybor City. I was able to walk around the neighborhood prior to my meetup. Bars, restaurants, and quirky stores filled this neighborhood. Parking was easy to find. I usually either park on the street or in the parking lots. I was able to pay via the app. But for some reason trying to pay with the app can be quite frustrating. The restaurant had a very chill vibe on this Tuesday evening. We arrived at around 5pm. We had made a reservation so we were immediately seated at our table. We were informed that it was Taco Tuesday so we would have to order from the limited taco menu. It was unfortunate because I was looking forward to trying some other items, but nothing on their regular menu was available. So I ordered a simple chicken sandwich with fries because I had already had tacos earlier in the week. The women in my group ordered the tacos. I also ordered the old fashioned and another one of their cocktails. The chicken sandwich and fries was very good. I enjoyed it. Can't go wrong with a chicken sandwich and fries. The women in my group seemed to not really enjoy the tacos. One member of the group received the wrong order. Another member received cold tacos. They both had to send their orders back. But the issues were quickly resolved and the staff was very apologetic. Mistakes happen, and how they addressed it was very professional. The drinks were great. The presentation for the old fashioned was very cool. It made the drink that much more special. The taste was great, I should've ordered 2 of these drinks. The ambiance of this restaurant was very chill. Smooth RnB was playing. Sadé, H.E.R, Snoh, etc. We stayed in the restaurant part of the building, I recall there being another side to the restaurant where it was more of a club vibe. Around 8pm it started to get pretty crowded and the music a bit louder, so FYI for those other introverts out there. Customer service was good. I believe that our waiter was new. He was attentive, knowledgeable of the menu, and provided good menu suggestions. When mistakes were made, he immediately addressed the situation and tried to make things better. Overall I enjoyed my experience. The restaurant had a nice and chill vibe, customer service was good, restaurant decor is absolutely beautiful, drinks were GREAT, food was okay. I would like to give this place another shot. I wasn't wowed by the food, so I'm hoping to return on a night that they will actually serve the whole menu. I wasn't a fan of the limited menu, I don't think that that is a good idea. We were all pretty upset about this when we arrived. This was a year ago, so I'm unsure if this is still a thing. I am unsure if I'd recommend this place. But I am really wanting to check this place out again so that I can try the food.

Yelp
This place is a vibe. The second level is a little dark early afternoon so I couldn't see my food but it was amazing. The lamb chops were juicy the breakfast potatoes were soft and perfect I was definitely pleased with my day trip to Tampa. The service was terrible lol. I dislike restaurants where gratuity is already included because that server is NOT coming back. We stayed an extra 40 mins because we asked 3 separate people for a to go box and each one kept forgetting ‍ I would definitely order their food to go if the service continues this way. Food was great.

Yelp
Southern comfort food at its best. The amazing staff is eager to help you pick out the perfect dish.
