I’ve had several interactions that felt unnecessarily unwelcoming. On one visit, I was told I couldn’t work with my iPad due to a “no screens” rule, while another guest nearby was clearly working on a laptop. Today, when I asked for a table for two, I was questioned quite abruptly about where the second person was and when they would arrive, which felt uncomfortable and unnecessary.
It’s disappointing, because this place used to feel warm and relaxed. Sadly, that’s no longer been my experience.
