It's an absolutely amazing vacation destination!! Visited for the first time, crusing on the Carnival Celebration. The water is so clear and clean. The wave barrier makes it so you can float peacefully for hours if you desire. There is nothing to complain about here, other than the "servers" you have on the resort don't always come back quickly. I'm not complaining, just the only the negative I could think of. I hope to be back in the future! I'd live here if I could

Beautiful island. Wonderful people. As a Canadian, we had to stop and get poutine at The Hangover Hut in West Bay. Unfortunately not real curds, but given the import challenges, I was just happy to find a semblance of home whilst in paradise

A truly beautiful vacation destination. A lot of touristic attractions to do and quite the modern island. You can find everything you need and the beaches are heavenly. Ideal whether you're adventurous or want a more relaxing stay.

A very interesting island just off the coast of mainland Honduras. Ecologically beautiful, but economically depressed. This was my third time there with a first time visitor. On previous trips I did the beaches and snorkeling. Great relaxing and magnificent reefs. Did the grand bus tour this time. Took off one star because of delays due to traffic. Otherwise the tour was expansive and educational. Although Honduras is a Spanish speaking nation, Roatan has stuck with it's British roots and is primarily English speaking. It is just exotic enough to bring wonder, yet still quite knowable.

Every part of Roatán was wonderfully inviting, beautiful, busy with local life bustle that invited us in. I fell in via love with this beautiful place and look forward to returning.

The only day we got rained out during our trip was this day, but have been before and it’s enjoyable when the weather is good. We were not able to kayak as planned, but good thing the restaurant is on the beach. The chair lift to the beach is scenic and peaceful.
