Robatayaki Mizukakechaya

A good place in the middle of the busy streets of Osaka. We do not have patience in queueing for the other restaurants, so we tried to find other place to eat at, and found this place. Not a lot of tourist eating here and seems like a rest to us. We liked the food overall. The only weird taste I tried is the snail, maybe I am not just used to it. Glad we experienced eating here. Loved their scallops btw!

An Izakaya with great vibes! The scallops and chicken ball skewers were my favourite 🤤 I’d recommend sitting next to the grill because they serve your dishes to you in a fun way (see photo!) We ordered ~8 dishes and 2 beers between two and it came to around ¥7,000

These skewer and charcol grill food are very good. Their alcohol and food are also very reasonably priced. I like their seafood more than meet. The scallop is a must have. Fish and prawn is also very fresh. The experience is also very good where you gather around the chef area watching them in action with other guests. I book them online using google translate online booking so no wait for me.

There are so many restaurants in Dotonbori. That's why your time is so precious when choosing a restaurant or a menu. So the attitude of staff is very important. The main chef's attitude and facial expressions, make you uncomfortable. Of course, I understand the inconvenience caused by smoke because he cooks in front of the steel plate, but I hope he also considers a customer's position of ordering food by paying money. Seeing the 森岡's attitude or expression on the food that cooks right in front of me can ruin your mood. It's good to enjoy the atmosphere rather than the taste of the food.

Found this Robatayaki in a small alley with three level seating. Did not get to sit in front of the chef but enjoyed the yakitori nevertheless. Food quality passable. Price affordable. Server English standard not there. There's English menu, must ask for it.

Fun place— definitely recommend checking out this restaurant. If you can get the first floor you watch the grill master at work. Highly recommend the yams and shiitake mushrooms. Yams have a super nice crunch. The chicken balls are awesome and.

Total bill was around ¥4950 for 2 people. Ordered about 10 dishes + 2 drinks (including 2 full grilled squids, 1 scallop, tuna sashimi and octopus)! It was very delicious and affordable (especially compared to eating this overseas). Quality of food was also really good! They grill the food in front of you and serve it on a paddle. Recommend coming here for a good variety of food and good service

Fun atmosphere and good food. Lots of choices and fresh ingredients. There is a 1 drink minimum per person (approx ¥600) and a (mandatory?) appetizer (¥300) that is considered a seat charge. Menu items are either ¥300 or ¥600, except for the mixed grill plates. Average cost pp is ¥2000-3000.

We had a marvelous meal!! We highly recommend the chicken wings!!! The dish comes with two, we loved them so much we ordered another servings! We sat up on the third floor.
