Mmm, hotcakes… but make it disappointing. I ordered the ricotta hot cakes — meant to come with seasonal fruit, vanilla ice cream (I swapped it for yogurt), maple syrup (I asked for none), coconut crumb, and fairy floss. What arrived? Two hotcakes, two strawberries cut in half, a few grapes (also cut in half — seriously, who does that?), melted fairy floss, and… no yogurt. The waitress took the plate out to me, and I was honestly just sitting there confused like, what is this? For $24, I expected something a lot more generous and put-together. The view from the café was beautiful — but sadly, the plate didn’t live up to it.

They lost a star because it appears they deleted my review. The cheeseboard was very expensive for the tiny amount of cheese you get. Disappointing. ☹️ The view is lovely.

So my experience was nice. The beach was nice to walk alone after lunch. The chips were done to perfection. There is other meal to try if you have a dog you can sit and eat outside on a beautiful sunny day pet friendly, which is off the food if your a mum with kids well you can eat inside or outside

Highly recommended, the staff is very kind and friendly, the food is also very delicious, not too salty! The scenery is very beautiful and it is definitely worth a visit!

I went here for lunch with my niece, the food was amazing and for my eggs Benedict, her kids pasta and two drinks it was only $48 which i think is a great price considering most places would be over the $50 mark. The service was amazing, and one of the servers even came over to give my niece a surprise little pack of M&M’s. I also left a Tip as I was very thankful for the little gift and great service. Working in hospitality is a hard field, as I work in it myself. And I applaud staff for being so welcoming and prompt considering the Christmas/ new years rush they would’ve had. 10/10 service, food tasted great, and the restaurant is clean as well as a great atmosphere. Thank you for having us!

Had a little snack time after walking around the beach. Ordered some wings & fries. I want to mention that the service was amazing as most of the staff were friendly and not to mention the amazing view of the beach while enjoying a drink or a meal. Food wise, it was quite disappointing. We ordered the sweet sauce wings (?) and I honestly did not know what I was tasting. The flavors were kind of all over the place and did not go very well. The fries were decent but not as crispy as you'd expect them to be. I did not get to try the mains, but hopefully, I will get a better experience next time and am able to change up the review.

Second time there, first time eating there. Staff very friendly and happy, good selection of tap beers, the Oyster Stout is amazing. The food was fantastic and always great eating opposite a beach.

This was an unexpected find, and a delicious one too. Presentation was great, and flavors on point, and the view was the cherry-on-top. Portion sizing was a little small for the price, but we didn't leave unhappy. The outside dining is dog-friendly and so is the north end of the beach. Would revisit.

Right on the Kingston Beach restaurant area, with indoor and outdoor seating that both overlook the beach. Despite not having a reservation, we snuck in on a busy Sunday morning and got the last seat inside. Was expecting the usual Australian cafe brunch food, but that not exactly what you get here... The menu is light on the typical brunch fare of eggs, bacon and hash browns and smashed a o and instead have lots of things like beef salad, seafood plates, and Vietnamese salads. Even though I'm not on a strict keto diet, I ordered the keto brekky that had eggs, halloumi, bacon and spiced avo. Nice. Coffee was great: strong, smooth and the right temperature. The fish and chips ordered by the fam were ENORMOUS. 3 large pieces of actual fish, in a light, crunchy batter and a small cup of chips. It's the inverse of the usual fish and chips where you get a ton of chip and a measly piece of sad greasy fish. Very impressed. We are vegetarian, and they made some nice meals, including the chef being willing to accomodate my further restrictions (no onions or garlic). Its not that often that chefs are willing to be flexible, with a 'can-do' attitude. This was much appreciated. The food was excellent and the chips are some of the best we have had in years.
