"Everyone knows about Lower Treman State Park, with its campsites and swimming hole, but the real gem is the Upper Park. Drive past the lower park entrance and wind your way up to the Upper entrance on the same road. From there you can visit the old mill with exhibits detailing the history of the park area, picnic in the shaded glen, or take a brisk hike into the gorge where you will be wowed by the majesty of approaching the 115 foot Lucifer Falls from the top cliff. The trail offers several options - walking all the way down to the lower park or circling below Lucifer Falls and climbing up the other side of the gorge, my family's favorite. Fair warning: the stairs are a little vertigo-inducing." - St. John Design Group
Well maintained park and grounds. Lucifer Falls is the main attraction here and is absolutely worth the stop. Short hike to a huge, picturesque waterfall. There are two sides to the park, with trails that connect, so be sure to map to the right one. Plenty of parking on both sides, picnic areas, etc.

I often drive 1 hour from the south to hike the upper trails for a day trip. In summer both the camping and swimming areas are incredible. Great playgrounds for kids.

Really nice state park with two main waterfalls; Lower Falls and Lucifer Falls. But there were some other smaller ones along the river.

My friends and I were passing through the area and wanted to go hiking. Robert H. Treman State Park was highly recommended. What an absolutely gorgeous Park. Hiking the Gorge trail, you will see 12 waterfalls, including the 115-foot Lucifer Falls. The trail is perfect for walking and running. Make sure you bring your swimming suit and jump into the swimming hole at the base of the lower falls. There is plenty of parking, restrooms, changing areas, and places to eat a picnic.

Beatiful park. Hiked the rim trail to lower falls then back up gorge trail. Approximately 5 hrs (stopped and had lunch at the picnic area lower falls. Lower falls has a swimming area. Nice view of the many falls. Trails were in good shape. Lots of steps.

Gorge trail & ridge trail have excellent views & they were not crowded at all. On the ridge trail the stairs up over the giant rock cliff are tough, but very beautiful. My family does a few hikes a year & the 4 mile loop down the gorge trail & back up the ridge trail from & to the upper parking lot was not too bad, even for a 9 & 11 year old.

Utterly beautiful, out of this world. If you wanna be mesmerized and have your mind suspended from all the noise, just go for a walk and you'll reset in 30mins. Pet friendly too. Daisy loved it!
Thank you mother nature❣️

We were short on time and did a quick out and back hike from the Upper Entrance to Lucifer Falls. Gradual grade with rocks can be somewhat tough, but nothing that should stop you from this beautiful, quick hike. Approximately 25 minutes total out and back.
