Any building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright is worth visiting. I had the privilege to visit this masterpiece in early February 2026. I was fortunate to meet Mr. Thomas Wright (Frank Lloyd Wrights grandson imagine that)? Along with the wonderful Leslie Spurlin. Wrights genius comes from a deep understanding of form and materials truly in Wrights hands any material turns to gold. The use of common concrete block with Philippine mahogany is truly spectacular. The craftmanship of bending the lap siding and mitering the corners is of a high quality. Once inside the interior is so welcoming and so full of amazing details and surprises that you have to sit down to take it all in. You have entered the mind of a genius.

I didn't hate, I'm sure it's a fine house. But it's private and not a tourist attraction. Further it's not visible from the road, so there is absolutely nothing to see or do. Probably better to remove this from the list of places to go.

The grandson lives there. Still in good shape but no tours. Cabin John hiking trail runs behind it.
