Small free museum about Tahitian pearl cultivation. Mostly, it's a retail store with expensive prices. It takes about 15 minutes to see all the exhibits. 3 small rooms, some videos. Explanations in French and English.

We park on the street near Papeete Market, after visiting Papeete Market, we walk to here . A little exhibition shows how to cultivate Pearl. Free AC Free Restroom The sales there are nice, they won’t force you or try to ask you to buy pearls .

Worth stopping by if you are in town. Get a chance to learn a thing or two about the history and origin of pearls. Otherwise you can also buy some fine selections here. Finally don’t be afraid to ask the staff questions! They are very friendly and eager to share their knowledge.
