Authentic Italian food in excellent quality. Great restaurant with superfriendly staff. No reservation possible.. but its really worth the wait. By quality and price one of the best in the area! We will be back in 3 days and really looking forward to it! We we're back.. and the pasta is also amazing! The portions look small at first.. but it's more than enough! And remember.. for italians pasta is always a starter dish ;)

First off, great atmosphere. In a town where most restaurants have you sitting on the lap of the person next to you, there’s AMPLE space. The service is wonderful. Our server who was actually FROM Italy, was personable, and incredibly pleasant. The bartender let us try a spicy oil we ended up loving. our pasta was FRESH, and you could tell. Everything down to the balsamic vinegar on the table was incredible, imported from Italy. The dessert… don’t get me started. I have tried tiramisu almost every place I’ve gone, and this was hands down, the BEST tiramisu I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this place if you’re ever in the area and wanting fresh Italian cuisine.

Decided to go there as the place looks very nice from outside, we had great hopes, maybe too much. The place is ok, some tables are way better than others and sadly we got one in the entrance which was not comfortable. We ordered some straciatella to share, the tagliatelle ragu as well as the ravioli with ricotta and sage butter. The dishes were ok, not the best Italian food you can get in Paris but honest, although a bit expensive for the portion served. The red wine from the house is good, and we ended with tiramisu that was really good. Service was a bit clumsy.

Quite a good Italian restaurant in the heart of Montmartre in Paris. The food is nice, but it may require seasoning for some people. Prices are reasonable and the staff are very polite. Check it out!

Google
Lovely atmosphere, very cosy interior. Excellent Aperol Spritz. The salmon pasta tasted good, but the ratio of salmon to pasta was a bit off, there was too much pasta (or not enough salmon). The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the prices are reasonable, especially considering the location.

Happened upon location as it is a hidden gem. The owner was extremely attentive and accommodating. We left it to him to choose our wine and smorgasbord and it was impeccable and well matched. Lovely layout and perfect outdoor seating. Staff well groomed and friendly. Would come again anytime as it is a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Google
The food was good and the location is excellent but they took about an hour to bring our pasta which was disappointing especially since we were in a rush. And no apologies either.

Very good gem! Pasta Fresca and freshly cut pruciotto. English Menus and the servers speak English too and great price! Make sure to try their drinks as well and you won't regret it

Yelp
This place doesn't exist anymore it's replaced by Kozy. It's now a brunch place. The line is long

Yelp
Roberta was one of my first meals in Paris, and I had mixed feelings about the experience. While I didn't think the staff was that great, the food had its moments. The lasagna I ordered was decent, and I noticed that some of their other pasta dishes looked really appetizing. However, the true star of the meal was their lemonade. I have to say it's the best I've ever had! I'm not sure what they put in it to make it so incredibly good, but it was refreshingly tangy and just the right amount of sweetness. The lemonade alone is reason enough to visit Roberta. While the service left something to be desired, the standout lemonade and the promise of tasty pasta dishes would make me consider giving Roberta another chance in the future.

Yelp
roberta is such a great local italian spot in montmartre!! the inside is decorated so nicely and the menu has something for everyone. the drink and cocktail menu is also great! fair prices too. my pesto pasta needed salt but other than that, it was great.

Yelp
Had a lovely late lunch visit. The food was wonderful, as were the members of the staff. We would go again.

Yelp
We had a really amazing meal- the food was great and we loved the ambiance. HOWEVER at the end of the night, we dealt with the classic "these are tourists" attitude and were informed out loud that "tip was not included". After traveling for 9 days in Paris, this is the first waiter that took advantage of our language barrier and bullied us in to leaving a tip. What a true disappointment. I would not recommend this place for English speaking tourists.

Yelp
We came here and sat at the bar as we only wanted a drink and an app. Waited 15 minutes, smiled at the bartender, made eye contact, asked to order. Nope we were ignored. No service. We left

Yelp
This place is a must visit if you are ever in Montmartre! After exploring the neighborhood one very breezy afternoon, my friend and I took refuge from the cold in a small restaurant right around the corner from the Wall of Love. We just wanted a small bite to each, and the place was very cute. This turned out to be my favorite place I visited in Paris. The place is so cute, great ambiance, and the staff were super friendly. I ordered a dish with prosciutto and warm cheese, garnished with arugula and tomatoes. It seemed simple enough... but oh was it delicious! The cheese was warm and melty, the bread was soft and perfectly toasted, and the meat was just fresh and delicious! I still dream about it I swear. It was paired with a white wine the server suggested, also very good. My friend wanted something sweet, and got an apple pasty that was completely amazing. We both wished we'd been more hungry because I would have ordered much more food!

Yelp
THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING!!! The drinks were 1000/10 and the food was too. Our server was so fun and the place was adorable. We got the gnocchi, buratta, and chocolate dessert & THEY WERE ALL AMAZING!!! The Aperol spritz was also to die for. I highly recommend this diamond in the rough restaurant in Montmare.

Yelp
Very cute branding in respects to their aesthetics, beautiful blue naturally lures you in. Once you walk in there's a dining section and then straight ahead there little market area. The espresso machine was so pretty. Everything looked untouched. In terms of brand attributes they are really lacking. No matter how cute everything looks I absolutely cannot support a business who has rude insincere employees harassing you about not taking photos the moment you walk in and giving you unforgettable dirty looks. There was no polite aspect to this encounter, it was 100% rude and abrasive. I'll spare the full lecture of why people should be encouraged to snap photos and share due to how beneficial it can be in spreading the good word. Talk about killing ones excitement of discovering a cute spot and likely to be a happy patron... I was verbally assaulted and attacked for no reason oh wait for taking a nice photo, that is no way to treat a customer. Wish I knew his name so this guy can be fired or at least enlightened with the concept of kindness. Older man with balding head, olive complexion, some face hair, worst attitude. I have to set boundaries all the time, but I do so with kindness. That experience was so terrible, something you'd expect from an uneducated classless place. Not only did it repel me away from this store / restaurant but it encouraged me to do the thing I hate most which is to write a negative review. But I was so offended I want no one to waste their precious vacation time at this horrible place. No wonder why it was empty at the peak of a beautiful Friday lunch hour. Also I noticed the temperature of the heating inside was so hot that it probably made some of their products go rancid, specifically the olive oil.

Yelp
Tired and hungry we stopped here because it was the first place we saw after walking up the stairs of the Abesses metro. We lucked out. The staff were the friendliest and most helpful people. After being seated, a waitress plopped a glass of water in front of my wife who was red-faced and sweating from the walk. Attentive and thoughtful. Our waiter and the others who served us were delightful and attentive throughout the meal. The food was great, too. I wouldn't say the best pasta I ever had for the money but what do you expect in such a touristy area. We ate every bite on our plates. So that tells you something. All in all was a nice respite from site-seeing. Highly recommend this place if you are in Montmatre.

Yelp
Eat here!!! This is a little gem! So happy we found it and so disappointed in yelp for not showing it to us until I put the name of the restaurant in the search. The pasta is fresh! The bread is amazing! The burrata is insane! So happy to find this place!

Yelp
I've been to Roberta Abessess on two separate trips to Paris; once for Aperol spritz and another for dinner after I fell in love with the atmosphere during said spritz. I stumbled across this place on a random walk in the 18th and was drawn in by its impeccable interior design and inviting bar. When I came back for dinner we tried the Trofie al pesto rosso and the Lasagna alla bolognese. Both were amazing and left us very satisfied. The wine was delicious and the service is great. No reservation needed. There's also a little market in the back where you can buy cheese and charcuterie amongst other items. I highly recommend this place to anyone for both dinner or drinks! It's also a quick walk to Sacre Coeur which is a win-win for night or daytime views of Paris in its entirety.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and walk down from the church. Go past the traditional French and pizza places. This place is a must! I need to meet this so-called Roberta. The Trattoria is bright, clean, well designed and the food is amazing. First really good cafe in Paris, sorry to all of you who still think the French have better espresso than Italians. Do yourself a favor, order anything, but get the panna cotta. A - MAZING!!! If I lived here, I would be best friends with Roberta.

Yelp
After a day in Paris with my family on the way back to our hotel we came across this refreshingly modern Italian restaurant. Friendly Italian staff and fresh pasta combined to make a great meal. Good coffee and tiramisu left us very happy.

Yelp
On our way to Sacré-Cœur, my wife and I walked by this place- if you're hungry- go in and enjoy a fine Italian meal. The service is great so is the food.

Sheila P.

Yelp
Yummy! A bit overpriced. Lovely aesthetics - modern and vivant, not kitschy touristy stuff. Many of the staff seemed to speak only Italian, not French, but were very friendly and quickly cleared a table for me. I ordered the ravioli with olives and citrus oil, which was delicious. I found the portion small for the 18 euros I paid, though, and it didn't come with a little salad or anything else like French restaurants often serve. The waiter, for some reason, never brought me a wine menu, but did bring me a carafe of water. I guess I saved a bit of cash on the glass of wine I would likely have ordered. A good place to eat steps away from metro Abbesses, if you're tooling around Montmartre or heading up to Sacre Coeur.

Yelp
Why wouldn't you serve me when I came in late at night and starving? Not nice to send me hungry to bed. Would have been happy with some simple bread and pesto or garlic bread to take away. Sorry for the bad review

Yelp
Charming local spot in Montmartre just steps from the Abbesses metro stop. Wonderful ambience and delicious food. Excellent choice for lunch.

Yelp
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE , JUST REALLY BAD, very bad management and waiter... just food was good. Good food. Bad service. Let me explain: It WAS my wife's 30th birthday. And her day was destroyed by their bad and unethical behavior. Very sad. We had a table of 10. With our friends, family and Parents. The food runner spilt the tray of sangria, and Coca-Cola on my sister in law and my friend's body. My sister in law's dress became completely soaked in sangria. She and my friend had to go home in the middle of the dinner to change their dress. They were not obliged to come back. They did though, just because it was my wife's 30th birthday. AFTER ONE HOUR. We didn't say anything at the time. Because we were waiting to see what they would do in the end. They were they nice enough to give us the sangria as a discount. How sweet.!! What about two of the family members were absent for 1 hour? Where is the discount for that? Where is the compensation for laundry? Most importantly, where is the immidiate apology from the manager? We could happily organize something at home instead of coming to a Restaurant ? People don't go to restaurant just for food, people go to restaurant for good experience. CONGRATULATIONS!! YOU HAVE GIVEN US THE WORST EXPERIENCE. By the way, thank you for giving us free lemoncello , and discount for one of the family member, AFTER 15 MINUTES OF DEBATING. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY IS TO FIX IT IMMIDIATELY. NOT AFTER WE CALL THE MANAGER. I know you were trying to avoid the discount. It is unethical. Not only you have destroyed the evening, you have managed to destroy the reputation of your chef's/ cooks hard work by your bad management. Bravo. Congratulations. I hope you are proud. NOW, who am I? I managed Italian restaurant in Sydney for 5 years. I was a former manager of Hilton Sydney. Head sommelier in Casino of Sydney, professional barista. I know what I am talking about. FRENCH TRANSLATION BELOW.

Yelp
Overall, the salads were very good and the pasta was very fresh. Although, the restaurant was very dirty which made it hard to enjoy our meal. You could tell the bread was old as the inside of the bread was slightly crispy (as it gets when it's left out). The bread was also reused from table to table - we witnessed a waitress grab a basket off the counter with a piece of bread left in it, then go on to add more bread before delivering it to another table. Once we were done with our meal, she grabbed our basket with a couple pieces left and put it on the counter by the bread area. The bartender was blowing his nose right over the salad bar area, then never washed his hands. Waitresses were touching their faces, rubbing their noses, touching their hair, using their cellphones then going on to serve food, touch the bread, make the salads with their hands and no gloves. The windows in to the kitchen were incredibly dirty, as though they have never been washed. The storage room by the bathroom had bags of trash. The staff was generally rude and essentially ignored us. We had to get their attention to order after 10+ minutes of sitting there.

Yelp
Loved this place! The Bellini was perfectly refreshing. The Buffalo Mozzarella was fresh and paired with an amazing olive oil, next time I'm in Paris, I will be back!
