Recently I stayed at the Robinson Quay Hotel. The location was convenient to the Fort Canning MRT.The downfall of the hotel 1. Its old2. The door to the toilet works as a two way. One is for when using the toilet and the other is the same door is used for the shower. The locking system used is basic and needs to be maintained. The room I used was 606 and is below average. I guess you pay for what you get.3. The staff at the reception was mainly concern about payment4. The hob in the shower is very low and water splashes into the toilet area. I asked for extra towels and it was not easy to get.5. The bed sheet I used for my bed had holes.6. There was no complimentary drinking water provided. 7. The hand shower mounted on the bathroom wall was something else. The bracket to hook the hand shower was loose therefore had you couldn't hang the shower head.8. In my view the YMCA provides better

We stayed for 5 days at Robertson Quay Hotel during the second week of August with my boyfriend. The location is very good — it’s walking distance to several attractions, and you can also explore the area by bicycle, which is such a nice experience. The room is not very spacious, but it is clean and comfortable. They also granted my request for a higher floor, which gave us a beautiful view of the city. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, especially for those who want convenience and a good location in Singapore.

I booked a deluxe double room. Not sure what they define as 'deluxe' and for a double you got to be very cosy. Their room is absolutely basic. No thrills, no extras. For one night it would be OK but not for a longer stay. The early check-in charges are outrageous and would add up more than the room costs! I would advice to wait till 3pm! Location is good, directly by the river. Staff is very neutral. Reception staff never acknowledges incoming or leaving guests. The TV stations either had a bad signal or were not clear at all.

Rooms are small but clean but enough for a week, you would be hard pressed to find bigger in this area without paying lot more. Otherwise a great hotel reasonably priced, with a nice pool and in a great location with the mrt close by so U can get wherever U like. Also had an excellent view of Clark Quay from the window.

Complete robbery! I made a mistake booking here. Upon arrival, they wouldn’t give me my room because I booked under “maddi” instead of my government name on my passport. I have never had this issue at any hotel before while traveling for months. I said OK let’s cancel this booking and just rebook it under my legal name. They wanted $140 MORE because of this. I look online and to book the same hotel room, It was only $20 more. they refused to give me a refund for the room that I paid for and had receipts and booking confirmation for unless I agreed to rebook by THEIR TERMS which was $140 more than what I should pay. They refused to give me a refund for a hotel room that they never gave me. I had to scramble and find another hotel room last minute and pay an additional $200 for that room outside the city. I talked to the manager and they preferred I gave them a bad review and dispute the charge with my credit card over just giving me a refund so here you go. Also noted that check-in took a long time in general and a lot of people seem to have problems checking in their hotel… Also noted when they refused to give me my money back, they also forgot to give me my passport back. I had to book a cab from the new hotel room out of the city BACK to here costing my $20 both ways and 30 more minutes of my life both ways😂 Out of justice for me and protection for yourself DO NOT BOOK HERE

Aircon was moldy and super noisy. The room had a strong leftover cigarette smell from the previous guest, and the whole place felt old and creepy. Couldn’t sleep at all with the noise and smell, so I just checked out and booked another hotel, had to pay more. Totally regret going cheap. Won’t do it again. If you’re on a budget, I really don’t recommend this place.

The location is great — close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. The lobby is big, but the décor’s a bit old.Staff were friendly and check-in/out was quick and easy. The room was small, and felt a bit damp. But the price was low, so it’s decent value for budget travelers.

AVOID AT ALL COST!We stayed here for 4 nights. We initially booked Ibis Bugis and thought this hotel in Robertson Quay was going to be an upgrade from Ibis because the price and location sounds promising. Being in SG, I didn't think I'd encounter an issue with their internet connection until I booked this hotel. We tried EVERY PART of the hotel and could confirm none of their wifi works. Thought that's fine since we had data but the rooms have dead spots too and could barely get a signal (we have both the physical sim & esim). The toilet is too small compared to Ibis and it was not comfortable and there was barely any hot water. The bed mattress was too thin and the blankets were two fitted sheets together that were also very uncomfortable. The river view by the window which is close to Clarke Quay is not even worth it, it looks dirty and unpleasant and does not make up for what this property lacks. Plus the bus and train stations are too far to walk. We ended up always having to book for Grab and Gojek which made it even more expensive. Barely any restaurants nearby and they also sell pricey food but tastes bland. Find a better alternative than this hotel because it's not even worth it.They also tried to get us to spend more money on their hotel such as early check-in was S$75 per hour even though the room was ready and charged us for a small stain on the pillow (make up stain which can easily be removed by clorox) and charged us S$15 for it. Again there's nothing good in this hotel. Even the locals told us this hotel is bad.
