We have been treated extraordinarily nice and friendly from the welcome until leave. Everything was prepared for a efficient check in, we have been welcomed with an anti-alcoholic 🍹 The room was surprising us a lot as its terrace was directly connected to the pool. Bed comfy and King-sized, bathroom clean and bathrobes super cosy. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was delicious with great service. The filet steak was just 😋😋😋 We could not have wished for anything more or other, this place is a oasis in the middle of Robertson. Thank you all for the hospitality. And on top of everything, our car (super dusty from red-earth roads) got cleaned nicely in the morning. This is an incredible service.

Very nostalgic. We stayed in room 3 and it was great really clean and comfortable. Nice patio to sit and enjoy a sun downer whilst enjoying the garden. Great Margarita's. Only two quirks: Staff were annoyingly chatting loudly amongst themselves, not acceptable. We we awaken at 7am to chairs being moved in the dining area as the room was adjacent to the dinning room. We recently had an amazing stay at The Robertson Small Boutique Hotel, and we cannot recommend it highly enough! The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. One standout moment was when we experienced a chilly evening due to the air conditioning not warming our room sufficiently. After informing the operations manager, they promptly placed a freestanding heating unit in our room while we were at dinner. When we returned, our room was toasty and warm—such a thoughtful gesture! Additionally, I accidentally left some jewelry in the bedside drawer. The general manager reached out to my husband, sent pictures of what was left behind, and offered to send it back to us or arrange for us to collect it. This level of service truly exceeded our expectations. Overall, our experience was absolutely wonderful, making it a perfect five-star weekend. I would definitely return and recommend The Robertson Small Hotel to anyone looking for a delightful stay!

We stayed only one night and wished we had stayed longer, really enjoyed the lovely peaceful vibe and stunning gardens around the house / like an Oasis. We had a very tasty dinner with exceptional server and local selection of Robertson wines.|Enjoyed after dinner drinks on the Stoep under the moon. Even though hotel is close to main centre of town, it is residential and therefore feels like you are in the countryside

So lovely and all the meals, from bar snacks, toasties to main meals were outstanding. Thank you to the chef! Small hotel and run very well with attention to detail and smooth systems. Totally worth another visit.

Second stay at this fabulous winelands gem--and even better than the first: this lovely boutique hotel truly ticks all the boxes. Rooms are spacious, bright and supremely comfortable; ours opened out to a private terrace and sparkling pool (sadly too chilly to enjoy this time). Public areas are warm and inviting (love a crackling fire in winter!) and the whole team bend over backwards to make your stay the best it can be. On-site restaurant is intimate, cosy and just the place for a romantic dinner for 2. Perfectly located in the best end of town, in easy walking distance of everything, the Small is the place to stay in Robertson--highly recommend. We'll be back!

after two years I returned to the 'Small' for a few nights and the hotel has just gotten better. The moment you enter the compound there is a sense of tranquility emerging, the rooms are superbly equipped and decorated, the revitalized restaurant serves great food, the service is super friendly, overall it is truly the place to stay in Robertson.||There is plenty to do and see in the area which is becoming fast an attractive alternative to the tried and tested winelands around Stellenbosch. It is new and trendy, restaurants and wineries are busy, great to see such positive vibe.
