Robin's Kitchen

The ox tail and jerk chicken was phenomenal. Seating was what you would expect from a resto on the side of the road, but you don’t go there for ambiance- you go for the food- and that did not disappoint at all.

The kindest hospitality and best jerk chicken in San Pedro! Incredibly grateful for our meal that we shared with Robin and his generosity in time, and story sharing. This is an incredibly memorable and delicious meal that we will cherish forever! Robin, if you ever end up bottling your sauce, be sure to let us know so we can ship it out!

Overall an amazing experience. It wasn’t supposed to be open when we walked past but we were very lucky to bump into Robin on his way home from church who opened up just for us when he heard it was our last night in Belize. The best and tastiest jerk chicken I’ve ever had and the sauce with it is to die for. Such a friendly guy and an amazing meal. Highly highly recommend!

Considering this is a $10 meal per dish, it’s a bit difficult for me to rate it higher. The jerk chicken is famous here, as well as throughout Belize. However, if you visit other places in Belize, you may find similar dishes at better prices and with slightly better side dishes. The menu options here are somewhat limited, but the restaurant choices on the island are also limited. So, if you live nearby, it might be worth visiting at least once to try it out.

We absolutely love Robin's Kitchen. The jerk is unbeatable. Breast/wing or Thigh/leg with rice and a side. Great value. While the jerk is amazing, I would add that the curry is delicious too. We usually get the meals to go, but you can eat there. Flavor for miles. Demand is big, so be patient if they are cooking more.

The Robin in this picture is not “the” Robin. “The” Robin and those working at Robin’s Kitchen are excellent. His chicken was top notch!! Our whole family recommends this chicken. We will go back for more!!

Best food on the island so tasty and delicious! Robin and his wife dulcie cook incredible jerk chicken with rice and beans and plantain and coleslaw, they even went out of their way to get us plantain. They also made us feel like family, was great chatting with them. Super reasonable prices as well. Do not hesitate to go. Look forward to coming back . Thank you

Wow! Robin's Kitchen is the best on the island of San Pedro. Flavorful and delicious food; BBQ grilled chicken, Curry Chicken, Fish seasoned to perfection and when Oxtails are available, Yummy, Yummy and delicious. Food is cooked as ordered so nothing is sitting around. Do yourself a favor and make a date with this outdoor BBQ restaurant. And if there is a wait, the outdoor atmosphere and conversations are just as good. April 2025
