Robinson Crusoe Deep Patagonia

Complete and utter rip off. This place is considerably more expensive than anywhere else in this town. Yet the staff are unfriendly and unhelpful, the bedrooms are tiny, everything in the room is cheap, including the cheapest nastiest toilet paper I've ever had in a hotel, the breakfast is basic and what you'd expect from a $20/n hotel, not the $330 they charge. Also do not trust Catalina from Robinson Crusoe expeditions. She basically lied to us to make us book here, on the basis she would sort out the crossing into Argentina, only to find she had not organised anything and we would have to go walking around town to find another company, which thankfully there are a couple of other companies in town, considerably cheaper and who also have nice (but basic) hotels for a fraction of the price of these thieves.

The wooden structure of the lodge in perfect harmony with the rich natural surroundings, the accommodation comfortable and tasteful, a friendly staff always there to, over a good morning coffee, provide information. A place to remember.

After sharing a 3/4 sized double bed at Candererio Mancillia and surviving Lago OHiggins. It was great to arrive. They were also instrumental in arranging the border crossing and the Hertz hire car from Villa OHiggins to Balmaceda

Las habitaciones son muy lindas la Vista increíble, sin embargo el servicio es pésimo, el desayuno es terriblemente malo para el precio que pagas, la recepcionista cero útil, cuando llegamos a desayunar las mesas estaban sucias así que empezaron a limpiarlas, la mujer que estaba limpiando la Mesa estaba con su celular con música a todo lo que daba (bachata) luego a la hora de sentarnos no habían platos para el desayuno ni vasos, la chica de recepción nos miraba pero no se le ocurría traer platos y vasos, ni siquiera había un café fresco, era café instantáneo. La verdad una decepción lo único bueno de ese lugar es la vista pero el Precio no corresponde al servicio que te ofrecen.

Es un buen lodge y está bien ubicado, pero tiene muchos puntos que mejorar para que valga la pena el precio. Parece que se pensó más en que se viera bien en las fotos que en que fuera realmente confortable: - El sistema de calefacción es eléctrico, lo que hace que la habitación demore mucho en temperarse. - La aislación acústica entre habitaciones es malísima. Se puede escuchar todo de la habitación de al lado, las conversaciones, el uso del baño... todo. - El desayuno podría ser más variado, pero por la lejanía se entiende. No es malo, de todas maneras. - En mi estadía, me tocaron toallas con mal olor. Imperdonable en un alojamiento que cobra lo que cobra.
